A child transport carrier includes an upper frame member having a forward end and a rear end and a rear frame coupled to the upper frame member. The rear frame includes a lower rear frame member, an upper rear frame member having an upper end fixedly coupled to the rear end of the upper frame member, and a first joint assembly coupling the lower rear frame member and the upper rear frame member. The rear frame is configured to fold between an unfolded in-use position and a folded storage position. The upper frame member and the upper rear frame member are fixed relative to each other. The first joint assembly is disposed longitudinally rearward of the forward end of the upper frame member and longitudinally forward of the rear end of the upper frame member in the unfolded in-use position.

A stroller includes a stroller frame, a frame locking mechanism, and a seat. The stroller frame can be folded or unfolded. The frame locking mechanism locks the stroller frame to be unfolded. The seat is pivotally connected to the stroller frame and is connected to the frame locking mechanism. Therein, when the seat pivots, the seat drives the frame locking mechanism to unlock the stroller frame so as to fold the stroller frame. The stroller is structurally simple and is convenient to be folded.

The stroller is capable of achieving not only a first folding, but also a second folding of the two side support assemblies, so as to reduce the volume occupied by the entire stroller in these states.

The stroller is convertible between an in-use configuration for transporting children and a folded storage configuration without removing the secondary seat, with the secondary seat is positioned at least partially within the frame when the stroller is in the folded storage configuration. The stroller is configured such that the secondary seat is selectively movable from an in-use position to a storage position without folding the remainder of the stroller such that, following movement of the secondary seat to the storage position, the remainder of the stroller is selectively foldable around the secondary seat.

A child stroller has a frame with a primary seat frame, at least one forward wheel and at least one rear wheel rotatably mounted to the frame, and primary and secondary forward-facing seats operatively supported by the frame. The secondary seat is positioned at least partially behind and at least partially below the primary seat. The stroller is convertible between an in-use configuration for transporting children and a folded storage configuration without removing the secondary seat, with the secondary seat is positioned at least partially within the frame when the stroller is in the folded storage configuration. The stroller is configured such that the secondary seat is selectively movable from an in-use position to a storage position without folding the remainder of the stroller such that, following movement of the secondary seat to the storage position, the remainder of the stroller is selectively foldable around the secondary seat.

A stand-up stroller assembly for rolling a standing child includes a first plate and a second plate. The second plate is coupled to and extends substantially perpendicularly from a rear edge of the first plate. A seat is hingedly coupled to a first side of the second plate. A first handle is coupled proximate to a front edge of the first plate and is configured to be grasped in hands of the user, such as a child, who is positioned on the first plate between the first handle and the second plate. A second handle is coupled to a second side, proximate to a top edge, of the second plate and is configured to be clasped in hands of an operator so that the operator is positioned to locomote the first plate, and the user, upon wheels that are axially coupled to the first plate.

A child seat includes a seat frame, a tray, a tray latch and a linking member. The seat frame includes a first frame portion having a side coupling part, and a second frame portion pivotally connected with the side coupling part. The tray is pivotally connected with the side coupling part for rotation. The tray latch is pivotally connected with the side coupling part, and can engage with the tray for locking the tray to the side coupling part and disengage from the tray for rotation of the tray. The linking member is operatively connected with the tray latch and the second frame portion, wherein a rotation of the second frame portion for collapsing the child seat causes a movement of the linking member that urges the tray latch to rotate relative to the side coupling part and disengage from the tray.

A stroller system including an expandable base and two frame members is discussed. The stroller system is configured for dual occupancy and provides an expandable cargo area to a user. The first and second seats coupled to their respective frame members may be modular in nature. The second seat may also include a bench seat with optional secondary support structures. The two frame members are configured to fold independently of one another. The mechanical apparatus of the dual occupancy stroller including locking and actuator mechanisms are discussed. Additionally, the mechanism by which the front frame member folds is discussed. The disclosed stroller is capable of simultaneously carrying multiple children with a cargo area that can be extended or retracted and can carry a heavy load. The stroller is able to easily fold to a stowed state.
