Steering device
A steering device includes a pressing plate provided in a section of the adjustment rod protruding from the outside surface of one support plate section as a locked member. The pressing plate has a circular plate body externally fitted onto the adjustment rod and a locking plate section as an extended arm section. A tension spring is bridged between a section shifted in the width direction from the plate body of the locking plate section and the support bracket.
MANUAL STEERING CONTROL UNIT FOR AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE
A vehicle (12) operable in manual and autonomous modes has a manual steering control unit (10) movable between a stowed position and an operative position. Movement of the steering control unit (10) as it transitions between stowed and operative positions comprises at least a component in a lateral direction of the vehicle so that when not in use, it is located laterally outside the free interior volume of the vehicle cabin (14) in the stowed position. The manual steering control unit (10) can be received within a recess (18) in a side wall region (16) of the vehicle cabin or in a central console in the stowed position.
STEERING DEVICE
A steering device according to an aspect of the present invention includes an outer shaft, an inner shaft, an outer column, and an inner column. The inner shaft has a sliding portion configured to be capable of being inserted into the outer shaft, and a bearing-mounting portion that is connected to the sliding portion in an axial direction thereof and is configured not to be capable of being inserted into the outer shaft. In the bearing-mounting portion, rear bearings are disposed with an interval therebetween in the axial direction.
UTILITY VEHICLE
A utility vehicle includes a plurality of ground-engaging members, a frame, a powertrain assembly, a front suspension assembly, and a rear suspension assembly. A cargo bed may be supported by the frame at the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle also includes an operator seat and at least one passenger seat positioned within an operator area. In one embodiment, the vehicle includes doors to enclose the operator area.

Vehicle control system
A vehicle control system is used for a vehicle in which steering control is executable. The vehicle control system includes an operation element configured to receive a driving operation by an occupant; a contact sensor configured to detect a contact operation on the operation element from either a first side or a second side in a vehicle width direction; and a travel control unit configured to change a travel position of the vehicle in the vehicle width direction within a travel path where the vehicle is traveling if the contact sensor detects the contact operation in a state where the steering control is executable.
Steering column actuator assembly travel stop
An adjustment actuator assembly for a vehicle steering system includes a leadscrew having a threaded outer surface and at least one pocket recessed radially inwardly from an outer diameter of the threaded outer surface. The adjustment actuator assembly also includes a nut having a threaded inner surface engaged with the threaded outer surface of the leadscrew, the nut axially moveable along the leadscrew during rotation of the leadscrew. The adjustment actuator assembly further includes a travel stop limiter operatively coupled to the nut, the travel stop limiter having a leg extending through an opening of the nut and spring biased into contact with the threaded outer surface of the leadscrew and moveable into the pocket of the leadscrew to limit axial translation of the nut.

STEERING ASSEMBLY HAVING A TILT STEERING WHEEL
A steering assembly for a vehicle includes a tilt steering wheel which is capable of being positioned in at least one steering position and at least one non-steering position, wherein the tilt steering wheel can be locked in the at least one non-steering position by a first locking mechanism. The steering assembly includes a second locking mechanism for additionally locking the tilt steering wheel in the at least one non-steering position, wherein the second locking mechanism comprises a locking device which is movable from a locking position into a release position and vice versa using an actuating mechanism.
ALIGHTING ASSISTANCE DEVICE AND METHOD
An alighting assistance device D of the present disclosure may be a device moving a driver seat rearward in a case where a determination may be made that an occupant seated on the driver seat of a vehicle alights. The device may include a height changer which changes a height of a steering wheel, a sitting height acquirer which acquires a sitting height of the occupant, and a steering wheel controller 33 as one example of a height controller which controls the height changer such that the height of the steering wheel becomes lower as the sitting height acquired by the sitting height acquirer may be higher in the case where a determination is made that the occupant alights.
