A vehicle body front structure includes front frames, first and second bumper beams, sub-frames, gussets, and load transmission members. The front frames extend in a front-rear direction. The first bumper beam is disposed in front of the front frames. The first bumper beam extends in a vehicle width direction. The sub-frames are disposed below the front frames. The sub-frames extend in the front-rear direction. The second bumper beam is coupled to front ends of the sub-frames. Ends of the second bumper beam protrude further outward than the first bumper beam. Each gusset is coupled to a corresponding one of ends of the second bumper beam and a corresponding one of intermediate portions of the sub-frames. The gussets transmit an impact load to the intermediate portions. The load transmission members are coupled to the sub-frames. The load transmission members are disposed on outer side surfaces of the front frame.

A one-piece air guide, which is made of expanded polymer material, is intended to be integrated into the front of a vehicle between a technical front end connected to a crossmember by longitudinally compressible elements and a front wall of the vehicle provided with at least one ventilation opening. The air guide has a front surface, a rear surface, and a plurality of longitudinal walls connecting the front surface to the rear surface and extending parallel or substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle when the air guide is mounted inside the vehicle. At least part of the longitudinal walls has a restriction area of smaller thickness than the thickness of the wall on either side of the restriction area.

Vehicle compartment louver carrier with integrated ducting

The present invention is directed to a carrier for an automobile with integrated active ducting. The carrier includes at least one aperture, and at least one louver rotatably mounted in the aperture. Also attached to the carrier is an actuator, and the actuator is connected to the louver. The actuator is operable for moving the louver between an open position and a closed position such that when the louver is in the open position, air flow passes through the aperture.

STRUCTURAL COOLING PACK

A structural cooling assembly for a vehicle includes a housing defining a first pocket between a front face and a back face. The housing comprising a single integrated part including a fluid reservoir portion, a vane portion, a fan shroud portion, a bolster portion, and at least one mounting portion mountable to a frame of a vehicle. A condenser is mounted within the first pocket, a charge air cooler is mounted in a second lower packet, a fan assembly is mounted within the fan shroud portion and a radiator is mounted to the back face.

Vehicle front structure

A vehicle front structure for a vehicle may include: a front side member disposed on a front of a vehicle; and a front end member coupled to a front end of the front side member. In particular, the front end member includes a main body which is coupled to the front side member to be aligned, and a lateral reinforcement portion which extends from the main body toward an outboard side of the vehicle.

A motor vehicle front end having a structural component that has a first structural element for absorbing mechanical forces. The first structural element surrounds a spatial region, at least in part, such that a cavity is formed in the interior of the first structural element. The first structural element has a surface region that defines said cavity. The structural component has at least one second structural element which is connected to the first structural element. For the purpose of mechanical reinforcement of the first structural element, the structural component has at least one reinforcing element. The reinforcing element supports a portion of the surface region. The first structural element is composed of at least two separate structural element parts.

Vehicle front structure

A vehicle front structure includes a first bumper reinforcement, a pair of right and left front side members respectively disposed on a vehicle rear side of outer portions of the first bumper reinforcement in a vehicle width direction, an apron upper member, a first crash box interposed between the first bumper reinforcement and the front side member, a cross member coupling together front ends of the pair of right and left front side members in the vehicle width direction, and a high-voltage component disposed on the vehicle rear side of and at a distance from the cross member. The first crash box is configured to undergo compressive deformation when a load equal to or larger than a predetermined value is input from the first bumper reinforcement.
