Twist lock design for underhood striker plate
A striker plate includes a base having a surface for contacting a switch and a wall. At least one support projects from the wall. The at least one support supports the base in a hood inner panel. At least one locking tab extends from the wall. The at least one locking tab engages a cutout on the panel. The support is positioned with respect to the respective locking tab so that the support engage the cutouts. Upon rotation of the base, the locking tab engages the cutout locking the base in place on the hood inner panel.
POLYMERIC ENGINE HOOD ASSEMBLY, VEHICLE FRONT END MODULE, VEHICLES COMPRISING THE SAME AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
A method of making a polymeric engine hood assembly for use in a vehicle can include applying heat to a first polymeric sheet, applying heat to a second polymeric sheet, stacking the first polymeric sheet and the second polymeric sheet, placing the stacked sheets between a first mold half and a second mold half, closing the first mold half and second mold half, applying vacuum to the space between the first polymeric sheet and the first mold half and between the second polymeric sheet and the second mold half, wherein the first polymeric sheet forms an exterior panel and wherein the second polymeric sheet forms a reinforcing structure; and attaching an exterior panel to a fender skin at a junction surface, wherein the reinforcing structure includes a connecting ridge extending transversely across the reinforcing structure, wherein the connecting ridge is configured to accept the junction surface of the exterior panel and the feeder skin.

HOOD ASSEMBLY INCORPORATING A FLUID RESERVOIR
A motor vehicle hood assembly includes a hood shell and a fluid reservoir having a body including a stringer section and a plurality of finger sections that are connected to and extend from the stringer section. The fluid reservoir may be provided packaged between the hood shell and an insulation layer of the hood assembly. A filling port is provided to assure the fluid is replenished by gravity once it's emptied from the reservoir.

Work vehicle
A work vehicle in which deformation of a shield member can be suppressed. The work vehicle includes: a hood that can be opened and closed; a lower shield portion that is fixed to an inside of the hood; and an upper shield portion that is fixed to an inner peripheral face of the hood and, when the hood is closed, comes in contact with the lower shield portion to partition an inner space of the hood together with the lower shield portion.

Utility vehicle cooling fan installation
A utility vehicle such as an agricultural tractor includes an engine, a heat exchanger, and a fan located under a hood. The hood is pivotable between a closed position and an open position. The fan is mounted to the hood such that, when in the closed position, the hood covers the engine and heat exchanger and the fan is positioned in an operable position to generate a cooling airstream through the heat exchanger. When the hood is in the open position, the fan is displaced from the operable position.

Hood
A hood for closing a compartment of a vehicle includes an outer panel forming a vehicle body outer side portion of the hood. The hood further includes a cooling channel structure arranged at an inner side portion of the outer panel, wherein the cooling channel structure is adapted for transferring a cooling fluid from a vehicle component and back to the vehicle component such that heat is exchanged via the outer panel with the vehicle surroundings.
