Lower vehicle-body structure

A lower vehicle-body structure allows miniaturization of an undercover and prevents an increase in minimum ground clearance. In the lower vehicle-body structure, a vehicle body floor includes step-up portions connected to a floor tunnel on opposite sides of the floor tunnel in a vehicle width direction at least in regions where first and second cross members are disposed on the vehicle body floor. The lower vehicle-body structure includes a mount member that faces the floor tunnel and connects the step-up portions on the opposite sides of the floor tunnel, and includes first and second undercovers that cover a lower side of the mount member so as to be continuous with a bottom surface of the vehicle body floor on outer sides of the step-up portions in the vehicle width direction.

Control arm with tunable fracture features

A control arm includes a wheel side end, a body side end, a first connecting member extending between the wheel side end and the body side end, a second connecting member extending between the wheel side end and the body side end, and having a reduced section portion, and a fracture zone extending through the first and second connecting members in a substantially fore-aft direction of the vehicle, the reduced section portion being within the fracture zone. A thickness of the reduced section portion is tunable to establish a controlled fracturing during a small overlap rigid barrier impact event where: (i) an initial fracture of the first connecting member occurs within the fracture zone, and (ii) a secondary fracture of the second connecting member occurs within the fracture zone at the reduced section portion, to thereby provide a desired rearward trajectory of the wheel assembly during the impact event.

A front structure of a vehicle includes a front grille opening disposed at the center in the vehicle width direction in a front part of the vehicle; a radiator disposed at the vehicle rear of the front grille opening; an opening disposed on the outer side in the vehicle width direction in the front part of the vehicle; a cooling device disposed at the vehicle rear of the opening; and a guide portion disposed between the opening and the cooling device and guiding traveling air to the cooling device, in which the guide portion has a tubular main body portion extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and an extension portion extending toward the center in the vehicle width direction from the main body portion and guiding traveling air from the front grille opening to the cooling device.

Vehicle body structure of vehicle

A vehicle body structure may include: front side members extended in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle and provided at opposite sides of the vehicle body structure; a sub-frame that includes: a front cross member and a rear cross member, which are spaced apart from each other, and front side structures extending forward from opposite sides of the sub-frame, where the sub-frame is coupled to the front side members at opposite sides; fender apron members to connect the front side structures to A-pillars of the vehicle body structure; load distribution members coupled to the fender apron members to transmit a load to the fender apron members and to the front side members; and a cross bar extending in the transverse direction while being spaced apart from an upper side of the front cross member of the sub-frame, and having opposite ends coupled to the front side members.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE STRUCTURE

An electric vehicle structure may include a floor panel; a center tunnel disposed at a center of the floor panel in a vehicle width direction, extending along a vehicle front-rear direction, and projecting upward from the floor panel; a dash panel disposed at front ends of the floor panel and the center tunnel; and a front reinforcement attached to an inner surface of a peripheral wall of the center tunnel and extending rearward from the dash panel through the center tunnel.

UTILITY VEHICLE

A utility vehicle is configured for off-road terrain and may include a plurality of mounting members configured to support a load and/or support the vehicle during transport. The utility vehicle also includes an upper frame assembly which is movable between a first position and second position. The upper frame assembly may be moved to the second position during transportation of the utility vehicle. Further, the utility vehicle includes a plurality of configurations for a rear cargo area, thereby allowing for passengers or cargo to be supported.

BODY FOR VEHICLE

A body for a vehicle configured for securing safety performance and vehicle rigidity according to a vehicle collision while increasing a battery capacity mounted in the vehicle, may include an internal side member mounted on a top surface of a center floor in a longitudinal direction of the body; a battery cross member mounted in a width direction of the body inside a battery case provided at a lower end portion of the center floor while intersecting the internal side member; and a coupling structure coupled to the battery case, the battery cross member, and the center floor at a point where the internal side member and the battery cross member intersect.

PARTIAL BODY FOR AN AT LEAST PART-ELECTRICALLY OPERATED MOTOR VEHICLE, AND MOTOR VEHICLE

A partial body for an at least part-electrically operated motor vehicle includes a first receiving portion for a traction battery and a second receiving portion for an electric drive unit. The receiving portions are arranged behind one another with respect to a vehicle longitudinal direction and are arranged at least partially at the same height with respect to a vehicle vertical direction. Here, a body transverse wall, which is of double-walled design at least in certain portions and which extends in the vehicle vertical direction and vehicle transverse direction, is arranged between the first and second receiving portion such that, in the event of an accident-induced displacement of the drive unit in the direction of the traction battery. The drive unit can be supported on the body transverse wall in a targeted manner.

Vehicle Body on Which a High Voltage Battery is Mounted

A vehicle body on which a high voltage battery is mounted is provided. The vehicle body includes a vehicle body floor on which a battery is placed stably, side sills disposed on both lateral sides of the vehicle body floor, respectively, to extend in forward and backward directions, a plurality of coupling members, wherein front portions of the coupling members are combined with respective front side members, rear portions of the coupling members are combined with the side sills, respectively, and each coupling member connects, in an extension line, between the respective front side member and the respective side sill in the forward and backward directions, and a cross member that extends across the vehicle body floor and couples the coupling members, wherein each end of the cross member is combined with the respective side sill.

Front body for vehicle

A front body for a vehicle includes: a front dash cross member having first and second ends respectively connected to front side members positioned at both sides of the vehicle; a left front center support member and a right front center support member being a pair of members disposed ahead of the front dash cross member and located under an engine room of the vehicle; and a center member having a front end connected to a center portion of the front dash cross member and extending rearward along a center line of a floor of the vehicle.
