Cable transport
A cable transport system, method, and apparatus are disclosed. In certain embodiments, a cable transport system comprises a cable transport assembly comprising a frame, wherein the frame comprises one or more bottom supports. In certain embodiments, the cable transport assembly comprises a first radii support coupled to a first end of the frame and a second radii support coupled to a second end of the frame, and one or more cables positioned longitudinally on the one or more bottom supports of the frame.
Low Profile Dump Trailer
A dump trailer comprising an open bed having first and second side walls for partially forming a cargo area to receive construction material and a rear opening for emptying the construction material from the cargo area. A tailgate is provided for covering the rear opening during transport. First and second arms are pivotably coupled to the respective first and second side walls and joined to the tailgate for moving the tailgate between a first position for covering the rear opening and a second position free of the rear opening. Each of the first and second arms are in a position below a top surface of the respective side wall or flush with the top surface when the tailgate is in the first position for facilitating loading of the construction material into the cargo area of the open bed.
Continuous contact rub rail
A continuous contact rub rail system, comprising a rub rail having a vertical inner rail contact section that extends continuously along the length of the rub rail. The rub rail may be attached to the trailer deck frame, substantially without voids between the rub rail and deck frame, wherein the vertical inner rail contact section may be in continuous contact with the vertical outer wall of the trailer deck frame.
Powered trailer hitch
A powered trailer hitch apparatus is provided. In one aspect, the apparatus includes a casing fixedly mounted to a frame of the vehicle and a ram at least partially disposed within the casing. The ram includes an extension member and a trailer-connecting member. The trailer-connecting member is external to the casing and fixed to an end of the extension member. The trailer-connecting member is configured to be selectively coupled to the trailer.
Vehicle Safety System
The present invention relates to a vehicle safety system for vehicles comprising a bed-mounted hitch. The vehicle safety system comprises a variety of components which include a plurality of wiring harnesses and a tailgate switch assembly. The vehicle safety system integrates within a vehicle infotainment system to assist a driver in safely attaching a trailer to the vehicle's bed-mounted hitch as well as operating the vehicle when it is towing the trailer. The vehicle safety system is also capable of controlling the backup camera video feed displayed by the vehicle infotainment system's display screen.
Low profile dump trailer
A dump trailer comprising a goose neck adapted for removable coupling to a tractor unit and a dropped frame joined to the goose neck and extending rearwardly of the goose neck. A plurality of trailer wheel and axle assemblies are joined to the bottom of the rear of the dropped frame. Each of the plurality of trailer wheel and axle assemblies has left and right wheels suitable for highway travel. An open bed is joined to the top of the dropped frame for receiving cargo. The open bed extends below the goose neck and has a front and a rear opening for permitting discharge of the cargo from the open bed.
Self-Storing Sliding Hydraulic Booster For Trailer
A spread axle assembly for a trailer has the ability to pivot about itself to achieve a storage configuration that advantageously shortens the overall length of the trailer and reduces tire wear. It also has the ability to extend between a close position in which the rear axle of the trail is proximate to its axle and one or more spread or extended positions for better distribution of a load carried by the trailer.
Dynamic utility transport system
A container transport system for transporting an intermodal freight container includes: a tow assembly pivotally coupled to a tow vehicle, the tow assembly including a support frame, a boom assembly mounted on the support frame, the boom assembly having a boom frame and a lifting actuator mounted on the boom frame; a lift beam shaped to attach to an end of the intermodal freight container, the lift beam mechanically associated with the lifting actuator; a dolly removably coupled to one of the tow assembly and tow vehicle, the dolly including a bogey frame including a plurality of wheels attached to the bogey frame, a pair of brackets located on sides of the bogey frame, the brackets spaced apart such that a width of the intermodal freight container fits between the paid of brackets.
PLATFORM TRAILER WITH REINFORCED NECK
A trailer neck reinforcement structure includes a first beam reinforcement structure that includes: (i) a first beam inner insert connected to an inner side of the first beam; and, (ii) and a first beam outer insert connected to an outer side of the first beam. A second beam reinforcement structure includes: (i) a second beam inner insert connected to an inner side of the second beam; and, (ii) and a second beam outer insert connected to an outer side of the second beam. Internal cross members extend between the first beam inner insert and the second beam inner insert. A first group of external cross members are located between the first beam outer insert and the left side rail, and a second group of external cross members are located between the second beam outer insert and the right side rail. Each external cross member comprises an inner segment connected to an outer segment.
TRAILER WITH KICKER ROLLERS
A trailer is provided for accommodating different lengths of loads. The trailer can have a hitch assembly connectable to a tow vehicle, a deck assembly positioned behind the hitch assembly, an axle assembly having at least two axles and wheels provided on the at least two axles, a first kicker roller adjacent a first side of the deck assembly and positionable in a loading position and a transport position and a second kicker roller adjacent a second side of the deck assembly and positionable in a loading position and a transport position.
