Machine system having machinery roller assembly with static sealing clamping collars
A machine system includes a roller frame and a roller assembly mounted to the roller frame. The roller assembly includes first and second clamping collars positioned upon a roller shaft and each including a lower and an upper collar section. Fasteners clamp the lower and upper collar sections to the roller shaft to form static seals. The clamping collars may be formed with splitlines to enable the clamping collars to deform so as to simulate interference fits with the roller shaft.
Vehicle track
An endless track for a tracked vehicle includes a track body and a plurality of cores at least partially embedded the track body, each core having at least one roller surface configured to contact an outer flange of a track roller when the track roller is engaged with an inner surface of the track body, and at least one protrusion configured to contact an inner flange of the track roller when the track roller is engaged with the inner surface of the track body. The track roller is configured to simultaneously contact a first core and an adjacent second core. A distance between the first core and the second core is selected such that about 0.2% of a flange diameter of the track roller extends perpendicular to an axis between a first contact point on the first core and a second contact point on the second core.
Track link for a track joint assembly having wear band with lengthwise-varied hardness and method of making same
A track link for a ground-engaging track system includes an elongate link body having an upper rail surface located in part upon each of a first link strap, a second link strap, and a middle section of the track link. The upper rail surface is formed by a wear band of sacrificial wear material having a hardness that is varied lengthwise along the upper rail surface to retard scalloping of the track link during service and forming relatively softer zones in the first and second link straps and a relatively harder zone within the middle section. Methodology for making such a track link is also disclosed.
TRACK SECTION WITH CROSSBAR AND TRACK BELT FORMED BY SUCH TRACK SECTIONS
A track section (1) adapted to be linked to a plurality of similar track sections to form a track belt for mounting around the outer periphery of vehicle tyres. The track section comprises a crossbar (11) and two lateral support members (126a, 12b). The crossbar is lattice-like and formed by two or more flat, upright and elongated crossbar elements (16) and two or more connecting elements (17). The crossbar elements (16) extend in parallel with each other and empty spaces are provided between them. Each connecting element (17) extends across and is fixed to the crossbar elements (16) in order to act as a spacer between the crossbar elements. Each connecting element (17) projects from the crossbar elements (16) on the outer side (14) of the crossbar (11).
Track link having canted rail surface edges and machine track with same
A track link for a machine track includes an elongate link body having an upper rail surface with an inboard peripheral edge and an outboard peripheral edge each formed upon a first link strap, a second link strap, and a middle section. The upper rail surface defines a longitudinal midline and at least one of the inboard peripheral edge or the outboard peripheral edge upon the first link strap and the second link strap is canted, in an inboard-outboard direction, to a longitudinal midline of the upper rail surface.
Track adjust monitor
A work machine includes a frame assembly supporting an idler and a drive sprocket. A track is looped around the idler and the drive sprocket. A track-adjust mechanism is configured to extend and to retract the frame assembly to adjust a tension of the track. A position sensor is configured to measure an extension of the track-adjust mechanism. A controller is configured to receive an extension measurement from the position sensor, determine a track tension based on the extension measurement, and output a track tension signal.

RUBBER TRACK UNIT
The present disclosure relates to a rubber track unit including: a track main body configured to move by a drive transmitted from a sprocket installed in a vehicle; an elastic part configured to provide a surface pressurized by a road wheel; a support plate to which the elastic part is coupled; and a coupling part detachably coupling the support plate and the track main body so that the elastic part is detachably coupled to the track main body.

WIDE BASE TRACK LINK
A track chain link includes a front side and a rear side with a distance therebetween and a base having a width. The base is coupled to an end of the front side and a corresponding end of the rear side. The width of the base is greater than the distance between the front side and the rear side. The base includes at least one extension having a combined length equal to the difference between the width of the base and the distance between the front side and the rear side. The at least one extension may be positioned beyond the front side of the track chain link. A track chain assembly includes the track chain link coupled to a track shoe. At least a portion of the base of the track chain link engages the track shoe.
