Common jig apparatus for mounting fender of multifarious vehicle
The present invention provides a common fender mounting jig apparatus for use with multifarious vehicles including a plurality of common clamping units for clamping fender panels of multifarious vehicles by using, selectively, a plurality of fixing blocks processed in compliance with the shape of a fender panel associated with each vehicle model. Additionally, the common fender mounting jig may also include a clamp movement unit for moving the common clamping unit upwardly and downwardly, forwardly and backwardly; a fender mounting jig mounted on its upper face with the common clamping unit and loading the fender panel clamped by the common clamping unit on a body-in-white; and a jig movement unit for moving and rotating the fender mounting jig. By using only one common clamping unit, the present invention is able to comply with various shapes of fender panels of multifarious vehicles.
Truck Topper Removal Device
The present invention relates to a truck topper supporting table device for removing and storing a truck topper from a pickup truck. The truck topper table enables a single individual to easily remove and install the topper on their own, and avoids the topper from having to be placed onto the ground when it is not on the truck. The truck topper table has two pairs of scissor-style collapsible legs that can be adjusted to a desired height. The table has a pair of horizontal rails positioned on the collapsible legs with rollers disposed along the length of the rails for easily rolling off the topper of the truck and onto the table. The table has cross members for increasing strength of the table to withstand heavy truck toppers.
Device for positioning vehicle parts
A device for positioning motor vehicle parts in the production or manufacture of motor vehicles. The device includes a main frame, at least one main module configured to be disposed on the main frame, at least one interchangeable first docking plate configured for releasable connection to the main module, and a plurality of first receptacles, arranged on the interchangeable first docking plate, configured to hold the motor vehicle parts at a predefined position during the production.
Main buck unit for vehicle body assembling system and control method of the same
A vehicle body assembling system forms a pre-buck section and a main buck section set along a transfer path of a floor assembly. A main buck unit is set at opposite sides of the transfer path in the main buck section, controls an upper portion of a side assembly in a state that a lower portion of each side assembly is pre-assembled to the floor assembly the pre-buck section, and assembles the upper portion of the side assembly and vehicle body parts using a second welding robot.
Positioning device
A positioning device to position, during in vehicle construction, a vehicle body component having at least one locating bore. The positioning device includes a locating pin having a conical end designed to be guided axially through a locating bore of the vehicle body component to centre and position the vehicle body component. The locating pin is mounted in a radially floating manner.
System and method for designing a customized vehicle repair configuration
A system and method for designing a customized vehicle repair configuration for effectively measuring and repairing the structure of a damaged vehicle body is disclosed. The system provides a vehicle repair assembly comprising a universal jig assembly, that allows the user to diagnose the damage of the repair structure or vehicle body. The vehicle repair assembly comprises a support frame, the jig assembly, a plate and a height adapter. After diagnosis of the vehicle body, the system is configured to customize the jig assembly respective of the repair structure to generate a customized vehicle repair assembly. The system is further configured to provide edit access to the generated customized vehicle repair assembly to a number of users to tune the generated vehicle repair configuration.
JIG FOR MOUNTING A COMPONENT ON A STRUCTURE
A jig for mounting a component on a structure is disclosed. The jig includes a frame having a base defining an elongated channel and adapted to be disposed substantially parallel to a surface. The jig also includes a support assembly for supporting the component to facilitate the mounting of the component on the structure. The support assembly extends vertically through the elongated channel and adapted to slide relative to the base along a length of the elongated channel.
System and method for assembling double-deck vehicle body
Provided are a system and a method for assembling a double-deck vehicle body. The system includes a vehicle body chassis support and an upper floor support. The vehicle body chassis support includes a crossbeam, end supports, and an intermediate support, where the end supports are arranged separately at two ends of the crossbeam, the intermediate support is arranged at the middle of the crossbeam, a height of the end supports is greater than a height of the intermediate support, an upper surface of the end supports and an upper surface of the intermediate support are configured to be closely fitted to a lower surface of a vehicle body chassis; and the upper floor support is detachably arranged on a vehicle body chassis for supporting an upper floor of the vehicle body.
Dolly apparatuses including swing out arm and automatic arm closing features
A dolly apparatus for use on an assembly line includes a base frame. A swing out arm is rotatably connected to the base frame by a pivot linkage. An automatic arm closing assembly moves the swing out arm from an installation position to an initial position. The automatic arm closing assembly includes an engagement member located laterally outside the base frame. A swinging linkage is rotatably connected to the base frame. A support rod connects the engagement member to the swinging linkage. A connector rod connects the swinging linkage to the pivot linkage.
