SADDLE-RIDING TYPE ROLLING MOTOR VEHICLE WITH A NOT-ROLLING FRONT FAIRING
20240253726 · 2024-08-01 ·

A saddle-riding type motor vehicle comprises steerable and rollable front wheels, at least one drive rolling wheel, an articulated rolling quadrilateral connected to a frame, and a steering assembly pivotably connected to the frame to control the front wheels. A suspension assembly is interposed between the front wheels and the quadrilateral to allow a sussultatory movement of the wheels with respect to the quadrilateral. The latter comprises lower and upper cross-members hinged to the frame to oscillate about rolling median axes parallel and substantially lying on a center plane of the motor vehicle. The articulated rolling quadrilateral further comprises first and second uprights hinged to the cross-members so as to rotate about further rolling axes parallel to the median rolling axes. A front-end fairing is directly and rigidly connected to one of the cross-members of the articulated roll quadrilateral, and comprises two wheel arch portions arranged above the front wheels.

INTELLIGENT FOLLOW-UP ILLUMINATION DEVICE
20240263772 · 2024-08-08 ·

An intelligent follow-up illumination device includes a support component, a rotating component, a driving component, a light source component, a projection component, a control component, and a casing. The support component is adapted to be installed on a vehicle in a fixed state. The rotating component is disposed to rotate relative to the support component. The driving component is disposed between the support component and the rotating component to drive the rotating component to perform a rotation operation around a rotation axis. The light source component is disposed inside the rotating component to emit illumination light. The projection component is retained on the rotating component to project the illumination light outwardly, so as to form a light distribution pattern. The control component is connected to the rotating component and adapted to send a control command to the driving component. The casing is disposed to enclose the control component.

A vehicle head light capable of correcting projection angle automatically includes a head light body having a light head retaining seat and a reflective cup locked; a passive gear cover and a front end thereof being formed with a passive gear; a bearing fixing seat; a bearing being fixed in the bearing fixing seat; the passive gear cover being arranged within the bearing, a motor locked in the bearing fixing seat; a horizontal sensor and a controller serving to control rotation angle of the motor; and a driving gear combined to an output spindle of the motor. The horizontal sensor automatically detects rotation angle of the head light or the inclination of the body of the motorcycle and detection data is transferred out to cause the motor and the driving gear are driven to drive the head light body to correct the light projection angle or swing angle.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ILLUMINATION CONTROL AND DISTRIBUTION DURING A VEHICLE BANK

A bank angle of a vehicle can be accurately calculated using yaw axis data and roll axis data, and based on the calculated bank angle, vehicle illumination optics can be controlled to maintain a pattern of distributed light from the illumination optics to be generally horizontal. The calculated bank angle may be zeroed when the yaw axis data equals zero. The improved pattern of distributed light from the illumination optics illuminates a more natural field of view for the vehicle driver during a bank.
