A membrane detector senses the presence of the membrane relative to a predetermined position in the tank and/or a meter measures the distance of the membrane from the ceiling of tank.
BICYCLE HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKING SYSTEM AND A METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DIAGNOSING THE BRAKING SYSTEM
A diagnostic method for a bicycle hydraulic disc braking system, having a master cylinder assembly with a cylinder inside which a piston reciprocates against the action of a return spring. The master cylinder has a hydraulic tank with a bottom, a ceiling, and a membrane that divides the hydraulic tank into two chambers. The hydraulic tank is connected to the cylinder through the bottom. A metering device measures the distance between the membrane and the ceiling of the tank. The output signal of the metering device is evaluated to determine that operation is correct when the membrane temporarily approaches the ceiling by a predetermined extent range, or incorrect otherwise. A positive evaluation reflects the correct operating condition, and a negative evaluation reflects an incorrect operating condition.

Guided navigation for personal transport devices
A method for providing guided navigation for personal transport devices is described. In one embodiment, the method includes providing a list of predetermined destinations associated with a geographic area, projecting directions to one or more of the destinations on a ground surface located in front of a personal transport device, and providing an option to a user of the personal transport device to select between at least two different destinations. A direction associated with each destination of the at least two destinations may be projected on the ground surface located in front of the personal transport device. The method also includes receiving an input from the user indicating a selection of one of the at least two different destinations and projecting directions to the selected destination on the ground surface located in front of the personal transport device to guide the user to the selected destination.

This saddle-type vehicle includes a warning vibration generator (205) that generates a predetermined vibration to issue a warning to a driver, the warning vibration generator (205) includes a warning selection unit (210) that selects a predetermined warning in accordance with a strength of driving assist control, and, in accordance with the warning selected by the warning selection unit (210), the warning vibration generator (205) generates a vibration (a haptic vibration) as a warning in a frequency band that avoids a vibration frequency common to a motorcycle.

This saddle-type vehicle includes a warning vibration generator (205) that generates a predetermined vibration to issue a warning to a driver, the warning vibration generator (205) includes a warning selection unit (210) that selects a predetermined warning in accordance with a strength of driving assist control, and, in accordance with the warning selected by the warning selection unit (210), the warning vibration generator (205) generates a vibration (a haptic vibration) as a warning in a frequency band that avoids a vibration frequency common to a motorcycle.

An operating device for a bicycle is disclosed. The operating device includes a display ring and a coaxially arranged operating ring arranged to rotate relative to the display ring. The display ring includes a display for displaying information and a first magnetic element that cooperates with a second magnetic element arranged on or in the operating ring. In a first position of the operating ring relative to the display ring, the first magnetic element is proximate to the second magnetic element, and if the operating ring is rotated away from the first position, the first magnetic element and the second element magnetically cooperate to bias the operating ring back to the first position. The display ring further includes a sensor that receives a signal when in proximity of a signal providing element.

An operating device for a bicycle is disclosed. The operating device includes a display ring and a coaxially arranged operating ring arranged to rotate relative to the display ring. The display ring includes a display for displaying information and a first magnetic element that cooperates with a second magnetic element arranged on or in the operating ring. In a first position of the operating ring relative to the display ring, the first magnetic element is proximate to the second magnetic element, and if the operating ring is rotated away from the first position, the first magnetic element and the second element magnetically cooperate to bias the operating ring back to the first position. The display ring further includes a sensor that receives a signal when in proximity of a signal providing element.
COVER SYSTEM FOR COMPUTING DEVICE PORTS
A cover system for a housing, such as a computing device housing, includes a channel defined by a housing and including each of a first opening and a second opening. The channel includes a first portion and a second portion separated by an aperture. During use, a protrusion of a cover is inserted through the aperture from the first portion of the channel into the second portion of the channel. The tip and aperture are sized such that the aperture retains the tip in the second portion of the channel after insertion. In the event the tip breaks off of the protrusion within the channel, each of the second portion and the second opening are sized and shaped to permit rapid removal of the tip from within the channel.
