A locking means (158, 160) engages the locking cavity (163) of the pin (152) when the pin (152) is received in the aperture (154). The system (150) also includes unlocking means (162) which includes material adapted to contract when activated. When a material contracts, engagement means (158) included in the locking means (158, 160), disengage the locking cavity (154).

The invention relates to a control system for a vehicle and to a method for controlling a vehicle using such a control system. The control system has a mobile input and analyzing device, a holding device for the input and analyzing device, and means for actuating electronic components and for detecting state information of the vehicle. The aim of the invention is to maintain low production costs for the control system and to allow a wide use with different vehicles. This is achieved by analyzing the state information obtained by the means and by generating control signals for the electronic components in the mobile input and analyzing device.
Information output device
An information output device that can output the position of a load applied to the pedal is provided. A strain gauge is provided on the inner face of a crank of a bicycle and detects strain occurring in the crank. A cycle computer display unit displays an image showing the center position of the load applied to the pedal connected to the crank based on the tangential force and the torsional torque calculated based on the output values of the first strain gauge to the sixth strain gauge.
