Mooring assembly for a floating vessel
A mooring arrangement for a floating device includes a band and a drum adapted to pay out and pull in the band. The mooring arrangement includes a band guide, the band is extending from the drum via the band guide and is adapted to be coupled to an anchoring arrangement, the band guide being configured to tilt about an articulation axis being parallel with a longitudinal axis of the part of the band situated between the drum and the band guide in order to position the band to compensate for movement in the floating device and thus reduce the wear in the band.
FLOATABLE FLOW-RESISTING AND SAND-RESISTING MULTI-FUNCTIONAL DEVICE
The present invention discloses a floatable flow-resisting and sand-resisting multi-functional device. The device includes a hollow floatable body, a flow-resisting and sand-resisting plate, a flow-resisting and sand-resisting net and a mooring system, wherein a plurality of flow-resisting and sand-resisting plates are arranged, each of the flow-resisting and sand-resisting plates is arranged perpendicular to a seabed, a top end of the flow-resisting and sand-resisting plate is fixed to the bottom of the hollow floatable body, the flow-resisting and sand-resisting net down to the seabed is mounted between every two of the flow-resisting and sand-resisting plates, one end of the mooring system is connected to the hollow floatable body, and the other end of the mooring system is fixed to the seabed.
Mooring assembly for a floating vessel
The invention relates to a mooring arrangement (2, 2) for a floating device (1, 2) comprising a band (5) and a drum (3) adapted to pay out and pull in the band (5). The invention being distinctive in that the mooring arrangement (2, 2 further comprising a band guide (14, 15,22), said band (5) is extending from the drum (3) via the band guide (14, 15, 22) and is adapted to be coupled to an anchoring arrangement (13), said band said band guide (4, 15, 22) being configured to tilt about an articulation axis (A, B) being parallel with a longitudinal axis of the part of the band (5a) situated between the drum (3) and the band guide (14, 15, 22) in order to position the band (5) to compensate for movement in the floating device (1,12, 12) and thus reduce the wear in the band (5).

Underwater vehicle having directional effector
An underwater vehicle includes a plurality of releasable panel members that are initially in a storage state in which the releasable panel members form a closed housing and the underwater vehicle is neutrally buoyant, an actuatable effector that is retained in the closed housing. The effector has an anchor and a positively buoyant upper unit opposite the anchor. When the plurality of releasable panel members are released to open the closed housing, the effector is separable from the releasable panel members and maintained in a vertically downward direction by the anchor and the positively buoyant upper unit.
Method for Installing a Subsea Structure
A method for installing a subsea structure at a target installation site in an underwater location is disclosed. The method includes connecting at least one mooring line and at least one leading line to the structure, and towing the structure via the leading line from a deployment position to the target installation site, such that the structure moves both vertically and horizontally between the deployment position and the target installation site. The mooring line is anchored, e.g. to an anchoring device on the seabed, and can incorporate a ballast to apply a sinking force to the structure in proportion to the length of unsupported line. The mooring line and the leading line can together stabilise the structure as it descends to the installation site. The non-vertical installation allows accurate structure placement, e.g. in crowded fields, with less sensitivity to tidal or current forces.
Floatation mattress assembly
A floatation mattress assembly for sleeping upon or floating in a body of water includes a mat that is comprised of a resiliently compressible material for sleeping upon. The mat is comprised of a buoyant material to float on a body of water. The mat is structured to have the ornamental appearance of a flip flop article of footwear. A first tube is pivotally coupled to the mat, and the first tube is positionable in a deployed position or a stored position. A second tube is coupled to the first tube and slidably extends through the mat. Thus, the first and second tubes have the ornamental appearance of foot straps on the flip flop article of footwear. A net is removably attached to each of the first and second tubes. The net forms a hemispherical dome over the mat when the first tube is positioned in the deployed position.
