CONNECTORS FOR MODULAR SUPPORT PLATFORMS

A set of connectors for modular support platforms is provided. The connectors are used to aggregate at least two support elements, forming a support platform which can be rearranged by adding new support elements and connectors. The set of connectors is used to form a modular support platform for a solar panel power plant, allowing its installation in water surfaces.

FLOATING MODULE FOR MODULAR SOLAR PANEL PLATFORMS

A floating module for modular solar panel platforms having two separate components mounted, a structural component that is a rigid component and a buoyancy component that is a flexible component allowing for a more compact and simple solution all-around. The floating module allows for a technologically more advanced floating component, easier to produce, transport and deploy than most currently available solutions.

Wave energy converter with submerged element

A wave energy converter (1) has: a buoyant structure (2) which, in use, floats on water; a generator (18); a generator drive mechanism (38) on board the buoyant structure (2), the generator drive mechanism (38) having an rotational input drive shaft (20) and a rotational output drive shaft (36); a drive member (22) operably connected to the input drive shaft (20), the drive member (22) being moveable back and forth between a first position and a second position; a biasing arrangement (23, 26) for example a buoyant block acting on the drive member; and, a submerged element 4, 4 which, in use, moves below the surface of the water out of phase with the buoyant structure (2), the drive member (22) being attached by a tether (28) to the submerged element (4). In use, when the buoyant structure (2) encounters a wave crest, the spacing between the buoyant structure (2) and the submerged element (4, 4) increases and the drive member (22) is pulled towards the second position by the tether (28), and, when the buoyant structure (2) encounters a wave trough, the spacing between the buoyant structure (2) and the submerged element (4, 4) decreases and the drive member (22) is urged towards the first position by the biasing arrangement (23, 26). The back and forth movement of the drive member (22) between the first and second positions causes the input drive shaft (20) to rotate and, thereby, causes the output drive shaft (36) to rotate. The submerged element (4, 4) is preferably a heave plate. The invention also comprises a heave plate for a submerged, partly submerged or floating structure.

FLOAT, FLOAT ASSEMBLY, AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING FLOAT ASSEMBLY

Present invention provides a float capable of suppressing deformation of the synthetic resin body even if internal gas expands and contracts due to environmental temperature change.

A float 10 comprises a float body 20 made of a synthetic resin molded in a hollow shape, a projecting portion 202 projecting from the upper surface of the float body 20 and having a vent hole 201, and a microporous membrane 203 adhered to the outside of the vent hole 201.

Framework structure (70) and method for modular construction of an offshore framework structure comprising frameworks (50) with a first bar (51) functioning as a floating body, a second bar (52), with two posts (53) for substantially parallel support of the bars (51, 52) and two bands (54) for tensioning the framework (50). A connection element (55) is arranged at each end of the bars (51, 52), each of which has a single flange (56) for attaching a single bar (51, 52) to the connection element (55). In the connection elements (55), receiving areas (57) are arranged transversely to the longitudinal direction (61) of the bars (51, 52) for attaching the posts (53). Further, the connection elements (55) have securing means (58) for securing bands (54) provided with tensioning devices (60) in such a way that the framework (50) can be held in shape or diagonally tensioned by means of the tensioning devices (60). The connection elements (55) are constructed with respect to the longitudinal direction (61) of the bars (51, 52) in such a way that an extension (62) is configured on one side and a holder (66) can be arranged on the opposite side so that the extension (62) of a connection element (55) of a framework (50) can be joined with the holder (66) of another connection element (55) of a further framework (50).
