Rearing cage unit and rearing apparatus
A rearing cage unit includes an animal residential area defined by a floor, a ceiling, and a wall; an excrement collection area adjacent to the animal residential area; and an excretion sheet in the excrement collection area to receive excrement of the animal. At least one of the floor and the wall is made of a material including resin, and has an excretion hole to allow the excrement in the animal residential area to be discharged to the excrement collection area, and the excretion hole has a size that prevents four feet of the animal from entering the excretion hole. The excretion sheet faces the excretion hole.
Aquarium conversion systems
A system to convert a framed, open-top, aquarium to a terrarium or vivarium is provided. An attachment device includes a core member having a sidewall groove to accept the insertion of an enclosure sidewall and an aquarium flange groove to accept the insertion of a flange extending from the interior surface of an aquarium frame.
CATTLE SHED
The invention discloses a cattle shed, comprising a cattle bedding, a feeding channel, a fixed roof, a movable roof, a feeding trough, a peripheral rail fence, and a rail fence gate, wherein the cattle bedding is provided with no dividers and needs no hardening and daily manure cleaning, which is merged with playground and enclosed. The feeding channel is hardened and higher than the cattle bedding, the fixed roof and the movable roof cover the cattle bedding and the feeding trough, the peripheral rail fence and the rail fence gate surround the cattle bedding and the feeding trough, and the fixed roof and the movable roof are arranged in a slope mode, and the movable roof can be opened to allow sunlight to enter and exchange air to form convection. The cattle shed of the present invention can reduce the construction cost, open the movable roof, effectively utilize the sunlight and the air convection, ensure a complete rain-sewage separation, and realize zero discharge of manure and sewage.
Habitat lighting assembly
A lighting assembly includes a light guide having opposite first and second major surfaces and at least one edge surface extending between the first and second major surfaces, a solid-state light source arranged to emit light into the edge surface of the light guide, and a plurality of integrated optical elements associated with the first major surface to redirect the light emitted by the solid-state light source. The lighting assembly may further include an air circulation device and a heat transfer system configured to transfer heat generated by the solid-state lighting source to a flow of air generated by the air circulation device. The solid-state light source may include light-emitting diodes, laser diodes, and/or organic light emitting diodes configured to produce multiple colors. Also provided is a habitat including the lighting assembly, and related methods.

CONFIGURABLE ANIMAL HOUSE CEILING VENT
A ceiling vent assembly incudes a ceiling vent having a pair of opposed end panels and a pair of opposed side panels, which define a frame that is open at its top and bottom. The frame receives two louvers pivotally mounted so as to be movable between open and closed positions. The ceiling vent assembly also includes first and second cables attached to the first and second louvers and a pulley assembly having a pair of vertically-oriented pulleys and a center pulley block having at least one horizontal pulley. The horizontal pulley has two vertically offset cable guides. Control rods pass through aligned rod openings in the end panels and pulley block. The pulley block has cable routing holes adjacent to each of the cable guides. The first cable is routed from the first louver, around the first vertical pulley, around one of the cable guides and then to one of the control rods, and the second cable is routed from the second louver, around the second vertical pulley, around the other one of the cable guides and then to one of the control rods such that the cables can be selectively routed so that the louvers can be controlled by either one of the control rods.

Air ceiling inlet unit
A ceiling inlet unit that assists in bringing air into the interior room of a building. The unit has a housing providing an opening to the attic of the building, the housing having movable blades with brush borders on the ends, pivotally mounted with a continuous hinge in the housing with seals to minimize air leakage when the blades are closed. The housing is designed in such a way to provide optimal air mixing situations through available cross-sectional area at different ventilation stages. The blades are designed to maximize air jet throw during lower ventilation stages, and provide superior total airflow during maximum ventilation stages.
