A system of solar thermal collectors and an HVAC controller draw heated air through a solar thermal absorbing needle-punched propylene geotextile with limited permeability to air flow, into the interior of poultry livestock house. In various embodiments, the poultry livestock house is divided into zones. Groups of collectors are joined with breather holes on opposite sides of the collectors and solid sides on the ends of each group. Groups of collectors serve each zone of the poultry livestock house. In an embodiment of the system the Environmental Optimization System (“EOS”) provides a system for the intelligent control and monitoring the broiler poultry livestock structure environment through the utilization of a variety of environmental and livestock behavior sensors, apparatus for controlling the thermal collection and existing interior heating/air conditioning/ventilation (“HVAC”) systems, and Internet or cloud based intelligent control and monitoring capabilities of the system. In various embodiments central sensor data aggregation is utilized to provide improved optimization control for livestock zones within individual structures based on data from multiple structures.

A wearable multifunctional hands free pet carrier system seamlessly combines features of an adjustable bag for carrying a pet, with petting pockets, an in-vehicle restraint system, and a retractable leash. The petting pockets allow the user to touch and pet the animal directly while using the pet carrier system, thereby fostering bonds of attachment between pet owner and pet.

A rolled and collapsible pet carrier includes an elongated panel mutually coupled with a first upstanding sidewall and a second upstanding sidewall. The panel includes a floor forming the base or bottom of the pet carrier, wherein the first upstanding sidewall is mutually coupled with the floor and the second upstanding sidewall is mutually coupled with the floor. A ventilator unit has a ventilator housing and at least one ventilator accommodated in the ventilator housing. A first outlet guide apparatus is associated with the ventilator and is arranged in the ventilator housing, wherein the first outlet guide apparatus has first outlet guide vanes distributed circumferentially. A second outlet guide apparatus is correlated with the first outlet guide apparatus and arranged in a flow path of an air stream sucked in by the ventilator. The second outlet guide apparatus is connected to a protective screen. The second outlet guide apparatus has second outlet guide vanes. The second outlet guide apparatus increases the throw of the ventilator unit.

An improved greenhouse structure having sides and a roof to define at least a partially enclosed space, with an interior ceiling section and the interior ceiling section being at least substantially transparent. An air channel is formed between the roof and the interior ceiling section with an air input device in fluid communication with the air channel and the interior ceiling section has one or more openings through it to allow air in the air channel to pass through and into the enclosed growing space to provide a top-down air conditioned effect.

A fan assembly for use in a sidewall of an animal house. The fan assembly includes an impeller, a motive force configured to rotate the impeller about a fan assembly axis, and a butterfly shutter. A shutter operation mechanism moves the butterfly doors of the shutter between the closed position and the open position in synchrony with an operating speed of the impeller. The shutter operating mechanism includes pushrods connected to the butterfly doors, and a linkage between the impeller and the second pushrods. The linkage includes at least one weight configured to rotate with the impeller about the fan assembly axis, wherein rotation of the at least one weight causes the linkage to exert a force on the pushrods to push the butterfly doors toward the open position when the impeller is rotating.

A pet carrier including a top portion; a bottom portion secured to the top portion and including a front wall having an upper edge, extending along an entirety of an upper side of the front wall from a first side to a second side, having a first portion proximate the first side and extending perpendicular thereto, a second portion adjoining the first portion and extending perpendicular thereto toward a floor of the bottom portion, a third portion adjoining the second portion and extending perpendicular thereto, a fourth portion adjoining the third portion and extending perpendicular thereto away from the floor of the bottom portion and opposing the second portion, and a fifth portion proximate the second side, adjoining the fourth portion and extending perpendicular thereto; and a first door carried between the second portion and fourth portion of the upper edge of the front wall of the bottom portion.

A vent with an adjustable baffle is disclosed. As the baffle is rotated away from the frame of the vent a corresponding opening is formed though which air may flow. The vent further has features which constrict the width of the opening in response to how far the baffle is opened. When the baffle is partially opened, these constricting features block a portion of the vent opening resulting in an opening of a certain width. The baffle can be opened further to a point beyond the constricting feature so that a wider vent opening is created. The design allows for more, and easier control of air flow in a system and can increase the distance air coming though the vent moves into the space before it descends.

A pet travel system includes a pet storage module and a closet within an interior cabin of a vehicle. The pet storage module has multiple module walls and a door that enclose a cavity configured to receive a pet. The pet storage module includes one or more first latch members attached to one or more of the module walls. The closet includes closet walls defining a compartment sized to receive the pet storage module therein. The closet further includes one or more second latch members attached to one or more of the closet walls. Each second latch member is configured to releasably connect to a corresponding first latch member to secure the pet storage module within the closet during a trip of the vehicle.
