The present invention provides a pet carrier including a carrier body. The carrier body including a translucent part and an opaque part. The carrier body is provided with a breathable structure and a first opening for a pet to enter and exit the carrier body. The pet carrier further includes a first leaf for covering the first opening. The translucent part and opaque part are design for the pet to stay in either one by its own will. Because of pet's visual limitations, the use of frosted material of the translucent part of the pet carrier prevents the pet from seeing the strange environment and from being fear. However, the user can still see the pet in the pet carrier. In addition, the breathable structure of the pet carrier ensures that the pet carrier is fully breathable.

A cat carrier includes a tray, and an enclosure formed of: a lower housing portion with an upper mating flange, and an upper housing portion with a lower mating flange. Protrusions on one mating flange slidably engage openings formed with respect to the other mating flange, to releasably couple the housings together without tools. Holes in each of the mating flanges align, when the housing portions are mated, and each aligned pair of holes receives a fastener to releasably secure the housing portions together. The holes on one flange transition into a keyed opening (e.g. a hexagonal-shaped opening) that receives a hex head of a bolt, to prevent rotation of the bolt when a wing nut is tightened onto the fastener, permitting final assembly without the use of tools. The protrusions create a gap between the flanges, forming a track, which receives/guides a flange of the base.

A wearable multifunctional hands free pet carrier system seamlessly combines features of an adjustable bag for carrying a pet, with petting pockets, an in-vehicle restraint system, and a retractable leash. A method for performing a learning cycle to determine a Start Temperature and a Stop Temperature for a PI loop algorithm is used for operating a climate control system (20) in an animal house (10). The climate control system has at least one climate control input device (21) and at least one heater device (23) and a climate control module (27) that receives input information from the at least one input device and controls the operation of the at least one heater device to regulate the climate in the animal house.

A Pipe and Strap Operating Drive System (PSODS) is disclosed which efficiently and accurately positions a blocker, or door mechanism, over an opening that is of exact or similar profile and dimensions as the door mechanism. In the preferred embodiment, PSODS is used to vary the position of a poultry house ventilation blocker or door mechanism from a tightly-closed position against the opening, or when required, within a certain range of door mechanism open positions, as dictated by weather conditions or internal air quality. Essentially, the inventive concept featuring PSODS utilizes at least one strap, wherein a first end of each strap is wound about a length of pipe, termed a pipe drive. The second end of the strap is attached proximate an upper edge of the door mechanism. As the pipe drive is rotated, the attached strap(s) control movement of the door mechanism toward a closed or open position.

A pet crate door latch with a vertically-reciprocating slider on the door and fixed tabs attached to a crate side panel adjacent to the door opening and forming open slots parallel to the panel. The slots can be vertical, inwardly-facing horizontal, or outwardly-facing horizontal. The slider has perpendicular or parallel edges that operate as slot edges. The perpendicular edges are slot edges for vertical slots and the parallel edges are slot edges for horizontal slots. There is a tab space below each slot edge. To engage the latch, the slider is raised until the tabs are aligned with the associated tab spaces. As the door is closing, the tabs fit through the tab spaces. When the door is closed, the slider is lowered until halted by a latch stop wherein the slot edge is transversely within the slot.

An environment-friendly piggery comprises at least one circular or polyhedral piggery building. Each polyhedron has five sides or more, and a ventilation shaft is provided in the middle of each floor of each piggery building; each floor tilts from high to low towards the ventilation shaft from the outer edge; the top of each piggery building is provided with a exhaust gas collecting and treatment device communicating with the ventilation shaft; and the bottom of the buildings are provided with pig excreta collecting devices corresponding to the opening of the ventilation shaft. The piggery occupies a small area, has strong wind and snow resistant functions, and is sturdy and durable. The culturing process is pollution-free, and piglets, pigs, and sows can be accommodated appropriately.

An air ventilating unit that assists in exhausting air from a building. The unit has a housing providing an opening to the exterior of the building, the housing having moveable louvers pivotally mounted in the housing with seals between the louvers and between the louvers and the housing to minimize outside air leakage when the louvers are closed. The louvers are designed to prevent them from flipping over and becoming jammed when in an open position. Once the louvers are fully open, all the louvers will stay open with minimal fan power.

A trailer for transporting living fowl includes a first enclosure and a second enclosure that are separated by a partition wall, each of the first and second enclosures being defined by a top, a floor, the partition wall, a rear wall, a first side wall and a second side wall; an apparatus for generating conditioned air to be supplied to the first and second enclosures; the partition wall having a length extending vertically between the floor and the ceiling and a width extending horizontally between the first and second side walls; the partition wall including a plurality of fans being structured and disposed for creating a path of airflow of the conditioned air throughout the first and second enclosures; and a plurality of air supply ducts in fluid flow communication with the apparatus for generating conditioned air.
