Livestock Housing System
An animal housing unit has an enclosed monolithic hutch with an open front and a separate open top pen attached to the front of the hutch whereby an animal will be contained in the unit by the combination of the hutch and pen. The pen has a sliding roof that can be extended over the pen, with an extension that shields a feed bucket location from rain. The units can be supported on a composite steel and plastic base and drain through floor tiles can be used on the base, which can be supported on adjustable supports to support the base above or close to the ground. The roof is bi-laterally curved or partially spherical to promote shedding of rainwater, and gutters are molded into the hutch to channel rain away from the interior living space. Roof guiding and securement mechanisms are molded into the hutch and sliding roof. The sliding roof is double walled for insulation and strength and extruded members sandwich the lower edges of the hutch. The front of the pen bulges forwardly beyond the front bottom edge of the pen, the front has a door, a bottle holder in the front of the pen is wider at the distal end, and the front of the pen tapers in width forwardly and upwardly. The units can be provided with an elevated base, base skirts, a non-slip soft grate floor, a bucket and clip, a rain visor on the pen, back wall and rear corner ventilation, a manure catch pan, treatment flags, tie down hinges, a multiple roof movement system and a bedding tray.
PET TRAVEL SYSTEMS AND METHODS ON A VEHICLE
A pet travel system includes a pet storage module and a closet within an interior cabin of a vehicle. The pet storage module has multiple module walls and a door that enclose a cavity configured to receive a pet. The pet storage module includes one or more first latch members attached to one or more of the module walls. The closet includes closet walls defining a compartment sized to receive the pet storage module therein. The closet further includes one or more second latch members attached to one or more of the closet walls. Each second latch member is configured to releasably connect to a corresponding first latch member to secure the pet storage module within the closet during a trip of the vehicle.
Horse Transportation Trailer System
An integrally formed horse transportation trailer including an internal airflow system designed to control airflow to individual horse stalls within the horse transportation trailer. The integrally formed horse transportation trailer includes an adjustable internal tie track, an external adjustable tie track, a fender skirt, a dress door, a moonroof, a climate control system, a bench set with an overhead clothes bar, a walkthrough door, an adjustable double-hinged divider, a side slide-in/slide out ramp, a rear slide-in/slide out ramp, and a removable rear loading compartment. The horse transportation trailer is further operable to haul in a forward and reverse facing direction.
SHADE APPARATUS FOR BROILER POULTRY HOUSE
A shade apparatus for use in broiler poultry houses can include a plurality of contoured vanes positioned in vertical alignment. Each vane can have first and second opposed lateral sides and is contoured upwardly such that the first lateral side resides below the second lateral side. The vanes are connected by a first plurality of spacers attached to the vanes proximate the first lateral side of the vanes, and a second plurality of spacers attached to the vanes proximate the second lateral side of the vanes. A portion of each vane extends over a horizontal axis defined by the first lateral side of a vane positioned immediately above. The apparatus can include brackets that facilitate mounting of the apparatus over a fan vent of a broiler poultry house and maintain the vanes a predetermined optimal distance from the fan vent.
DETACHABLE PET KENNEL NET
A system including a flexible and detachable net implement being configured to be installed on a frame of an entranceway. A plurality of cam straps, each cam strap having a first end segment and a second end segment, wherein each of said first end segment is into engagement with said net implement. A plurality of snap hooks where each snap hook is into engagement with said second end segment of each of said plurality of cam straps, wherein each snap hook is operable for anchoring said net implement. A bracket implement, in which said bracket implement comprises a top end portion and a bottom end portion, wherein said bracket implement is further configured to receive said plurality of snap hooks for anchoring said net implement to the wall of the entranceway frame.
PET CARRIER
A pet carrier includes two half-shells of substantially identical shape and sizes, to be arranged so that they mutually face the respective concavities, the half-shells forming the two halves of a carrier. The two half-shells, once arranged mutually on top of each other, form a substantially parallelepiped-shaped structure, at least one of the two half-shells having a resealable gap that can be closed by a door, or a grating or the like. The carrier also includes a device allowing the mutual reversible fastening of the two half-shells. The two half-shells are substantially symmetrical with respect to a plane that intersects side faces of the carrier along a diagonal thereof. The door, the grating or the like extends for the most part in correspondence with one of the largest faces of the half-shell, the door being reversibly fastened to the half-shell.
ANIMAL CRATE ASSEMBLY
A side of an animal enclosure including a plurality of interconnected horizontal and vertical wires, where the plurality of horizontal wires includes a top wire and a bottom wire, and the plurality of vertical wires includes a first end wire and a second end wire. A plurality of hooked ends are formed at the ends of either the plurality of horizontal wires or the plurality of vertical wires. The top wire, the bottom wire, the first end wire, and the second end wire define an outer periphery of the first member, and the plurality of hooked ends extend beyond the outer periphery defined by the top wire, the bottom wire, the first end wire, and the second end wire. The top wire, bottom wire, first end wire and second end wire do not form a hooked end at any of their respective ends.
SIDE OF PET CAGE
A side of a pet cage, including a frame enclosed by a metal bar, where the frame is connected to multiple mutually interlaced horizontal bars and vertical bars, and the frame is further provided with a hook portion that is formed integrally with the frame in a bending manner. The present utility model has a simple structure, low costs, and high production efficiency.
System and Methods for Mimicking the Environmental Conditions of a Habitat
A system for mimicking the environmental conditions of a habitat includes an enclosure and a ventilation assembly. A ventilation strip extends horizontally through a sidewall of the enclosure. The ventilation strip includes first and second inner channels separated by an inner fin. A ventilation opening(s) allows communication between the interior of the enclosure and the inner channels. An air fan in fluid communication with the first inner channel provides airflow into the first inner channel to create a low-pressure zone over the ventilation opening, thereby drawing air through the ventilation opening and into the enclosure from the exterior of the enclosure through the second inner channel. In some embodiments, a vertical growing assembly having a mounting panel and a plurality of cells is provided. Each cell is adapted for receiving substrate for growing an organism. A method for training an artificial neural network to control said system is also provided.
Animal crate with swing or drop door assembly
A door assembly includes a frame having interconnected wires that define an opening for an animal to pass therethrough, and a door having interconnected wires and being coupled to the frame. A latch assembly has a handle structure and a pin. The handle structure is pivotable with respect to one of the door and the frame, and the pin is movable axially with respect to one of the door and the frame.
