Friction-sealed water immersion suit

A friction-sealed water immersion suit is described having a suit body with a neck opening, arm openings, leg openings and an entry opening. The entry opening defines an upper section and a lower section. A friction-sealed coupling is provided at the entry opening for coupling the upper section and the lower section of the suit body. The friction-sealed coupling includes a flap on one of the upper section or the lower section made of an elastomeric material and an inner flap and an outer flap on the other of the upper section or the lower section made of an elastomeric material. The friction-sealed coupling being engaged by interleaving the flap with the inner flap and the outer flap.

Wetsuit Garment Fabricated as Reinforcedly Joined by High-Elasticity Joining Member
20200189243 · 2020-06-18 ·

A method for fabricating wetsuit garment including wetsuits, boots and gloves for water sports uses, comprising preparation of at least a high-elasticity joining member made of hot melt adhesive, and joining at least two interconnected panels of rubber foam or sponge by the high-elasticity joining member to cover and seal the seam between the two interconnected panels for firmly bonding the two interconnected panels for making a strong, elastic and flexible wetsuit garment.

Fabric for Wetsuit and Wetsuit Employing Said Fabric

A fabric for a wetsuit wherein weft knit textile cloth comprising bare jersey knit fabric at which polypropylene multifilament yarn and elastic yarn have been knit in plating fashion while said elastic yarn was stretched to an elongation of 1.5 times to 2.0 times, exclusive of 2.0 times, is laminated to either or both faces of a sponge sheet made of chloroprene foam rubber. Furthermore, the elastic yarn in this fabric is thermally fusible polyurethane elastic fiber, and the elastic yarns in the knit textile are thermally fused to each other. Moreover, the elastic yarns are thermally fused to each other by heat-setting at 100 C. to 140 C.

An environmental protection garment for use during water activities includes a wetsuit. A plurality of bladders, a receiver, a transmitter, and a controller are coupled to the wetsuit. An inflation unit coupled to the wetsuit and fluidically coupled to the plurality of bladders. The receiver is global position system enabled. The controller is operationally coupled to the inflation unit, the receiver, and the transmitter. The controller is positioned to selectively actuate the inflation unit to inflate the bladders to increase a buoyancy of a user. The controller is positioned to selectively actuate the receiver to receive location coordinates and the transmitter to transmit the location coordinates and a distress signal.

Method for digitally printing patterns on high-elasticity wetsuits

A method comprises: coating a high-elasticity coating on a rubber foam or high-elasticity fabric of a wetsuit to form a substrate to be printed; providing a digital printing machine for uploading an image file of a pattern or logo to the digital printing machine; and providing a vacuum system having a sucking platform formed with a plurality of sucking holes through the sucking platform; and laying the substrate to be printed on the sucking platform, whereby upon operation of the vacuum system and actuation of the digital printing machine, the image of the pattern or logo will be digitally printed on the substrate as laid on the sucking platform for successfully digitally printing the patterns on the wetsuits.

Apparatus for drying a wetsuit
20200079482 · 2020-03-12 ·

An apparatus for drying a wetsuit (Dryer Cup) is composed of an elongate member and a fluid receptacle. The dryer cup is configured such that the retained water in the wetsuit drains into the fluid receptacle. This allows the user to dry the wetsuit indoors without dripping water on the floor. The elongate member keeps the sleeves of the wetsuit open for air exchange. This improves dry time of the wetsuit, and allows for the option to introduce a fan or other method to improve air flow through the wetsuit garment.
