FALL PROTECTION TOOL FOR USE IN BLOCKING AN OPENING
A fall protection tool for use in blocking an opening in a doorframe. The tool includes a frame assembly including a pair of lateral posts spaced from each other and extending substantially parallel with each other, and at least one transverse post extending between the pair of lateral posts. The tool also includes a hook member coupled to each lateral post, wherein the hook member is configured to couple to a portion of the doorframe such that the frame assembly is hangable from the doorframe.

The present disclosure provides an aircraft security door as well as methods, systems and apparatus for handling an aircraft security door. In one implementation, a method for installing an aircraft security door onto an aircraft is disclosed. The method includes transferring the aircraft security door to an aircraft service stair, supporting the aircraft security door by a bridge crane coupled to the aircraft service stair, positioning the aircraft service stair in proximity to a fuselage of the aircraft adjacent to an opening in the fuselage, positioning the aircraft security door relative to the opening using the bridge crane, and securing the aircraft security door to the opening.
Door system for an aircraft and aircraft
A door system for an aircraft includes a door frame defining a door opening with a first perimeter strut and a second perimeter strut spaced apart from the first perimeter strut, at least one first frame stopper attached to the first perimeter strut and at least one second frame stopper attached to the second perimeter strut. The frame stoppers each comprise a first contact portion projecting into the door opening and having a first toothing. The first toothings are each formed on an inner surface of the first abutment portion. Further, the door system comprises a door mounted movably relative to the door frame and disposed in the door opening in a closed state, and a number of door stoppers corresponding to the number of frame stoppers disposed on opposite sides of the door and connected to the door, each door stopper having a second abutment portion. The second abutment portion comprises a second toothing formed complementary to the first toothing. The first toothing of a respective frame stopper and the second toothing of a respective door stopper engage in each other in the closed state of the door.
DOOR ARRANGEMENT FOR USE ON AN AIRCRAFT
A door arrangement, for use on an aircraft, includes a door and an actuation arrangement. The arrangement is configured to move the door between an open position and a closed position. The actuation arrangement includes: a first member coupled to the door such that movement of the first member moves the door; a second member pivotally coupled to the first member and arranged to drive movement of the first member, wherein the second member is movable between a first position which corresponds to the door being in an open position and a second position which corresponds to the door being in a closed position; and an actuator arranged to rotate the second member between the first position and second positions. The door arrangement further comprises a fixed stop.
CANOPY AND DOOR ARRANGEMENT FOR A NON-PRESSURIZED AIRCRAFT
The integration of a hinged door with a door leaf in a non-pressurized aircraft. The non-pressurized aircraft includes a canopy frame with a canopy frame cross-section profile. The canopy frame cross section profile has first and second canopy frame faces that are arranged at a predetermined angle relative to each other, and a third canopy frame face that is arranged between the first and second canopy frame faces. The non-pressurized aircraft further includes a hinge that is entirely arranged within the outline of the non-pressurized aircraft and pivotally mounts the door leaf to the third canopy frame face.

An aircraft includes first and second zones, and a sealing system, interposed between a doorframe and a door providing access to the second zone, including: a peripheral seal secured to the door, a stop secured to the doorframe, and including a body in the form of at least one plate which extends around the perimeter of the doorframe, parallel to the door when the door is in the closed position, a peripheral groove positioned on the stop in such a way that the peripheral seal closes off the peripheral groove around the perimeter of the opening when the door is in the closed position, and at least one passage configured to cause the peripheral groove and the first zone to communicate.
Mounting system for a pressure seal of an aircraft door
An aircraft door, and, more particularly, to a mounting system for a pressure seal of an aircraft door. A mounting system may include an outer skin, a pressure seal, a clamping component, a pressure seal fastener having a head and a threaded shank, a nut, a mounting support having a clearance hole that is adapted to prevent a rotational and axial movement of the pressure seal fastener, and mounting support fasteners. Mounting support fasteners removably attach the mounting support to the outer skin. The head of the pressure seal fastener is connected to the mounting support such that a rotational and axial movement of the pressure seal fastener is prevented. The nut is removably attached to the threaded shank of the pressure seal fastener, thereby removably clamping the pressure seal between the clamping component and the mounting support.
JOINT STRUCTURE FOR BATHROOM DOOR BODY OF AIRPLANE BATHROOM DOOR
A joining structure of a door panel for a lavatory of an aircraft lavatory unit is provided. A plurality of pairs of end surfaces of a structural frame side hinge portion end surface and a door panel side hinge portion end surface facing each other in the vertical direction are alternately provided at intervals in the vertical direction. Bearing members each formed in a cylindrical shape and including a shaft insertion hole are disposed between at least two pairs of end surfaces adjacent to each other in the vertical direction, of the plurality of pairs of end surfaces. Both surfaces of the bearing member are in contact with each of the two pairs of end surfaces.
AIRCRAFT DOOR DRAINAGE SYSTEM
An aircraft door drainage system includes a precipitation receptacle disposed longitudinally along an upper edge of an aircraft door opening. The receptacle is mounted along the upper edge of the door opening by a plurality of brackets that connect the receptacle to an inside ceiling panel of the aircraft. The receptacle protrudes outward from the upper edge of the door opening into a path followed by precipitation falling off of an outer peripheral surface of a fuselage of the aircraft from locations above, forward, and aft of the door opening into the door opening when the aircraft door is in an open position. The receptacle remains clear of the aircraft door when the aircraft door is closed into the door opening. Drain hoses are connected at first and second ends of the receptacle to direct precipitation collected in the receptacle to an outside of the aircraft.
Opening system and method for an aircraft emergency door
The invention proposes a simple system, with small space requirement, without hinge arms or sealing skirt, while providing secure and effective opening. To achieve this, the invention provides a door opening by a lateral guidance defining an integrated doubling-back kinematics, towards the interior then the exterior of the fuselage. An opening system of an emergency door (1) is positioned in an aircraft fuselage (2), the door and the fuselage comprising respective frameworks (11, 21) extending opposite each other. According to the invention, the system comprises a control handle (5) for rotating, combined with a bolt/latch pair, and an opening mechanism (30) equipped, in the upper corner areas (Zs) of the door (1), with a pivoting lever (6) hinged on an upper edge of the fuselage (2) and provided with guide tracks interacting with the bulk/latch pair and with a door attachment fitting (12), upper and lower rollers mounted in the lateral framework of the door (11c) in connection with the guide tracks (20s, 20i) mounted in the opposing fuselage framework (21c), the upper guide tracks (20s) being inclined rising towards the interior of the cabin (I) and the lower guide tracks (20i) being curved.
