Livestock Chute with Both Parallel and V-Squeeze Capability, A Pull-Up Neck Extender and a Robust Head Gate Track
A livestock squeeze chute is operable in parallel-squeeze, V-squeeze and inverted-V squeeze configurations, and has a head gate with a novel guide track construction for robust rolling support of the gate panels, and a neck extender having uniquely positioned actuators that pull the neck extender upwardly into its working position. The squeeze panels are supported in suspended and hinged fashion from a set of movable supports that are displaceable laterally back and forth along a set of overhead support tracks. A pair of upper actuators are operable to move the hinged-equipped supports, and thereby relocate the tops of the squeeze panels, while a set of lower actuators are operable to relocate the bottom ends of the squeeze panels. The head gate's guide track uses two L-shaped bars and a cooperating U-channel to define a pair of enclosed channels in which roller carriages of the two gate panels are respectively received.
Grooming table side guards
The grooming table side guard is configured for use with a companion animal. The grooming table side guard comprises a pedestal, a bridge lift, and a counter. The bridge lift attaches the counter to the pedestal. The counter forms an elevated horizontal surface on which the companion animal is placed for grooming. The bridge lift is a mechanical structure used to change the elevation of the counter. The pedestal forms the link in the load path that transfers the load of the bridge lift and the pedestal to a supporting surface. The counter further comprises a plurality of telescopic drawers. Each of the plurality of telescopic drawers forms a barrier along the perimeter of the counter that prevents the companion animal from falling off of the counter.

Guide structure for stalling animals such as cattle
A front element for stalling an animal in a free stall, that is better suited than earlier devices to the morphology and movements of the animal to be contained, helping guide the animal when it is positioning itself, standing up and/or lying down in its free stall. Such a front element can be implemented in a pair in a front structure, in order to delimit the internal space I of said free stall.
CAGE FOR HOUSING LABORATORY ANIMALS
A cage for housing laboratory animals, said cage comprising a main box-shaped body consisting of a bottom wall, an upper wall, and a plurality of side walls, said bottom wall, upper wall and side walls being connected and joined together to define a first inner space available to said laboratory animals, wherein a first side wall of said main box-shaped body comprises a first opening adapted to allow the access to said inner space from the outside by an operator, and wherein said first side wall comprises a gate which is switchable between a first position, in which it substantially closes said first opening, and a second position, in which it at least partially clears said first opening), wherein said cage comprises a secondary box-shaped body consisting of a bottom own wall thereof, an upper own wall thereof and a plurality of own side walls thereof, said own bottom wall, upper wall and side walls of said secondary box-shaped body being connected and joined together to define a second inner space, wherein a first own side wall of said secondary box-shaped body comprises a second opening, said secondary box-shaped body being adapted to be externally applied to said first side wall of said main box-shaped body with said second opening at said first opening to allow said laboratory animals, with said gate in said second position, to access from said first inner space to said second inner space and vice versa, from said second inner space to said first inner space.
Livestock Device
In one aspect of a livestock device, the livestock device may be configured with two opposed and corresponding door frames. A neck bar may be engaged with each door frame via an upper extension arm and a lower extension arm. The door frames may be selectively moved between an open and closed position with respect to one another. The neck bars may be selectively moved between a retracted and extended position with respect to the door frames. The livestock device may be configured to secure the position of, restrain, and/or properly orient an animal, and/or to secure the position of, restrain, and/or properly orient a portion of an animal (e.g., its head, neck, etc.) with respect to another portion of the animal.
Apparatus for restraining the lower legs and feet of a livestock animal
A livestock animal leg restraining apparatus includes a chute having a floor and sidewalls, a center pad assembly and two side pad assemblies. The center pad assembly is mounted in a raised position above the center of the floor of the chute. The center pad assembly presents two opposite center pads that are oriented in the outboard direction. Two side pad assemblies are mounted to pivot panels that are able to pivot out from the sidewalls of the chute from an open position to a closed position. Each side pad assembly presents a side pad that is oriented in an inboard direction. When the pivot panels are tilted to the closed position, the side pads are brought into close proximity with the center pads so as to restrain the lower legs of a livestock animal.
TILT FORWARD HEAD GATE FOR LIVESTOCK CHUTE
Livestock head gate assembly configured to be installed as part of a livestock chute for holding an animal, including a head gate frame and a pair of laterally spaced gate panels laterally shiftable relative to each other between a releasing condition and a holding condition. The gate panels cooperatively define a gate opening, with the gate panels permitting the animal to move through the gate opening in the releasing condition and removably engaging a neck of the animal in the holding condition to restrict animal movement through the gate opening. The head gate frame is configured to be pivotally attached to the chute frame at a pivot joint defining a lateral pivot axis such that the head gate is swingable away from the chute frame toward the holding condition to orient the neck along a longitudinal direction and restrict movement of a head of the animal.
