Projection Information Display
In an illustrative embodiment, systems and methods for controlling projection of graphical elements onto surfaces of an aircraft cabin interior may include a projector mounted to a surface of a static element of an aircraft passenger suite that outputs the graphical element onto a projection surface. The graphical element may correspond to a received projection request. A controller may receive a projection request from a computing device indicating a type of graphical element for display onto the projection surface. The type of graphical element may correspond to a type of communication message such as a message between a passenger and a flight attendant within the aircraft cabin. The graphical element may generated for display by the projector based on at least one of the type of graphical element associated with the received projection request and a native language of the passenger or flight attendant.
Amenity Monument for Aircraft Cabins
Preferred embodiments relate to an amenity monument installed in the middle of a cabin space that absorbs “dead-space” in a seating layout while simultaneously providing features and amenities that are desirable to passengers. In preferred embodiments, this may substantially enhance the array of seating options and configurations available to an aircraft interior designer. In certain embodiments, the amenity monument may be equipped with dimmable panels that are set to a transparent condition during taxi, take-off and landing. During flight, the dimmable panels may be set to a translucent or opaque condition that provides privacy for the passenger utilizing the amenity monument as well as passengers seated nearby. In some embodiments, the monuments may provide enhanced amenities like curved, surround-view screens and which display gaming, advertising, multimedia and/or retail content.
Table arrangement
The present invention provides a table arrangement 100 for use in an aircraft seat module, the table arrangement comprising a first table element suitable for being movably mounted to a mounting structure of the aircraft seat module, the first table element being provided with a first table surface, a second table element provided with a second table surface substantially parallel to the first table surface, wherein the second table element is mounted to the first table element, such that the second table element is moveable from a first position with respect to the first table element to a second position with respect to the first table element, the second position being transformed from the first position within the plane of the second table element. The present invention also provides an aircraft seat module, an aircraft and a method of deploying a table arrangement.
AIRCRAFT PASSENGER SUITE SEATING ARRANGEMENTS WITH ALL AISLE ACCESS
In an illustrative embodiment, a premium class seating arrangement for an aircraft cabin includes at least three passenger suites, each passenger suite including a seat movable between an upright position and a horizontal bed position and an ottoman which expands a surface area of the bed position. The passenger suites may cooperatively form a nested arrangement capable of nesting with identical passenger suite arrangements longitudinally within the cabin area. At least two of the ottomans of the passenger suites may be longitudinally offset in installation position. Each passenger suite in the arrangement is afforded direct aisle access without interference by another passenger suite.
DEPLOYABLE TABLE
A seating arrangement comprising at least one seat; a console adjacent the at least one seat; a deployable table assembly; and locking device. The table assembly is movable in a longitudinal direction from a stowed position into a deployed position in which it is located on an upper surface of the console. The locking device is operable to releasably engage the table assembly in the deployed position to prevent movement of the table assembly in a lateral direction.
Seat assembly for a cabin of a means of transportation
The invention relates to a seat assembly for a cabin of a means of transportation, having an aisle which is arranged in the longitudinal direction of the cabin, two mutually spaced cabin walls which are oriented parallel to the aisle at least in some regions and laterally delimit the cabin, two outer passenger seat regions which are separated from one another by the aisle and each of which adjoins one of the two cabin walls, wherein the outer passenger seat regions have at least one row of seats with a respective inner first seat module which faces the aisle, a central second seat module adjoining the first module, and an outer third seat module adjoining the respective cabin wall. Each of the seat modules has a seat and an ottoman paired with the seat or a foot rest at a distance from the respective seat, and the third seat module is offset to the second seat module in the longitudinal direction such that the seat of the third
Table apparatus
A table apparatus includes a table device and a table support structure that is connected to the table device. The table support structure includes a carrier structure and a table support linkage. The carrier structure is connected to the table support linkage via a single pivot connection. The table device is pivotable about only the single pivot connection.
PASSENGER SEAT UNIT FOR AN AIRCRAFT CABIN
The invention describes a passenger seat unit for an aircraft cabin, comprising a seat surface (10), a backrest (20) and a leg rest (30), and having: an upright configuration in which the backrest (20) and the leg rest (30) are in a first position, and a bed configuration in which the backrest (20) and the leg rest (30) are in a second position, the backrest (20), the seat surface (10) and the leg rest (30) forming a substantially plane and continuous surface,
characterised in that: the seat surface (10) is fixed, the backrest (20) is mounted mobile in rotation around a joint axis between the backrest and the seat surface (29), the leg rest (30) is mounted mobile in rotation around a joint axis between the leg rest and the seat surface (39).
Expandable aircraft monument, and aircraft area having an expandable aircraft monument
An aircraft monument for installation in an aircraft cabin. The aircraft monument comprises a movable side wall that is configured for separating the aircraft monument from a passenger area of the aircraft cabin, and that is configured for being moved. The aircraft monument further comprises at least one seat that is fastened to the movable side wall. Also disclosed is an aircraft area having a main aisle that extends along a longitudinal axis of an aircraft cabin, and having an aircraft monument situated next to the main aisle. Also disclosed is an aircraft that includes at least one aircraft area.
FORWARD-FACING AIRCRAFT PASSENGER SUITE WITH ALL AISLE ACCESS
A seating arrangement for a cabin of a passenger aircraft that includes 5-abreast passenger accommodation suites, each including a privacy wall and a seat movable between a seating position and a lie-flat bed position, and adapted to be laterally positioned in the aircraft cabin in respective adjacent outboard, middle and inboard positions. Three of the suites are adapted to be positioned in a longitudinally-offset position in relation to each other and defining respective ingress/egress paths to a cabin aisle extending along a longitudinal axis of the aircraft cabin adjacent the third suite. Two of the suites are positioned in a longitudinally-offset position in relation to each other and defining respective ingress/egress paths on the opposite side of the cabin aisle. At least some of the suites define an angular offset relative to the longitudinal axis of the cabin aisle.
