An object of the present invention is to provide a seat unit structure, a seat unit, and an attachment method thereof in which component reinstallation does not arise when the seat unit is attached in an aircraft. One representative seat unit structure according to the present invention relates to a seat unit structure configured to support a seat, wherein the structure has a lower structure having a monocoque structure and defines an outermost shell in at least one direction of the seat unit. That is, the member mounted in the one direction of the seat unit can be stored inside the outermost shell of the structure. In addition, the one direction is the width direction of the airframe.

Vehicular seating suite configuration

A vehicular seating suite configuration may include a plurality of vertically stacked seating suites configured to be positioned within a vehicle. Each seating suite may include an elongated generally horizontal seating surface angled away from a longitudinal axis of a vehicle and a generally vertical backrest portion adjacent to a proximal end of the elongated generally horizontal seating surface. The elongated generally horizontal seating surface and the generally vertical backrest portion may be configured to accommodate a person in a sitting position and the elongated generally horizontal seating surface may be configured to accommodate a person in a lying position.

Aircraft Interior Structure Including Actuatable Panels and a Footwell

An aircraft interior structure may include a primary monument, an auxiliary monument, and a passenger seating section. The primary monument may include one or more storage compartments and a primary panel configured to actuate between a primary panel stowed position and a primary panel deployed position. The auxiliary monument may be spaced a select distance from the primary monument across a floor area of an aircraft cabin, and may include an auxiliary panel configured to actuate between an auxiliary panel stowed position and an auxiliary panel deployed position. The passenger seating section may include a footwell at least partially within the primary monument and proximate to the one or more storage compartments. The footwell may correspond to an aircraft seat. The aircraft seat may be configured to form a bed surface with at least a portion being within the footwell when the aircraft seat is in a lie-flat position.

PASSENGER SEATING

A seating arrangement for a passenger-carrying vehicle including a first seat and a third seat arranged in a first row and facing in a forward direction, and a second seat located rearwardly of the first and third seats. The third seat is offset forwardly with respect to the first seat, the second seat is offset with respect to each of the first and third seats in a transverse direction that is perpendicular to the forward direction such that it is located between the first and third seats in the transverse direction. The combined effect of the transverse offset of the seats in adjacent rows, together with the forward offset of the seats in any given row provides seated passengers with a larger passenger accommodation region than is provided by conventional seating arrangements.

AIRCRAFT SEAT AND CABIN ARRANGEMENT

An aircraft passenger seat comprising a seat pan, a back rest, and a leg rest is provided. The back rest is moveable between an upright position and a reclined position in which the back rest is substantially parallel with a deployed position of the seat pan. The back rest can also be fixed in at least one intermediate position between the upright position and the reclined position. The leg rest is moveable between a retracted position in which the leg rest is substantially perpendicular to the deployed position of the seat pan and an extended position in which it is positioned to support the legs of a passenger. The seat pan is moveable between a deployed position in which the seat pan occupies a first space and wherein a passenger can sit on the seat pan, and a stowed position in which the seat pan is moved out of the first space such that a passenger can stand in the first space.
