A scavenging animal deterring feeder assembly may include a feeder support stand having an elevated stand platform and a stand fence having a plurality of spaced-apart, upward-standing fence spikes carried by the stand platform. A feed-dispensing wildlife feeder may be supported by the stand platform of the feeder support stand and at least partially enclosed by the stand fence. Accordingly, the stand fence deters a wild hog or other scavenging animal from landing its front paws onto the stand platform and collapsing the stand platform in an attempt to access the animal feed in the wildlife feeder.

MATERIAL FEEDER WITH MATERIAL FLOW ASSIST MECHANISM AND METHOD OF USE
20210051919 · 2021-02-25 ·

A material flow assist mechanism for a feed hopper using a vertically aligned rotating auger includes a frame, the frame having a pair of spaced apart first and second telescoping arms attached to frame, and a connector to link a shaft of a motor to the auger for auger and material flow assist mechanism rotation. Each of first and second telescoping arms have an elongated member mounted to a plate-containing end portion of each respective first and second telescoping arms. Rotation of the material flow assist mechanism by the motor rotates the first and second elongated members for material dispensing out a hopper. Dispensing of the material from the hopper results in extension of portions of the first and second telescoping arms such that the elongated members and plate travel with a top portion of the material as the top portion of the material in the hopper descends during dispensing.

The present invention provides an anti-stuck pet feeder, which includes a shell and a top cover, the shell has in a cavity. Its bottom of the shell is provided with an outlet. The upper part of the cavity is provided with a grain storage chamber, the lower part of the cavity is provided with a driving mechanism. The lower part of the grain storage chamber is provided with a rotor. The rotor includes a shaft and a main body arranged on the shaft, the side wall of the main body is uniformly distributed with blades. The grain storage chamber is provided with a grain-out channel below the blades, which communicates with the outlet. The driving mechanism is connected with the rotor and drives it to rotate, and the grain stored in the grain storage chamber is transported to the grain-out channel and fed through the outlet.

Apparatus, liquid reservoir, system, and use of a liquid reservoir for electrolessly sprinkling animal feed

The present invention relates to an apparatus for electrolessly sprinkling animal feed. The apparatus comprises a housing, a mount for a liquid reservoir with a mechanically actuatable spray head, and a transmission element. The transmission element is movably mounted in the housings and configured to be moved by a conveying system. The transmission element comprises a section actuating the spray head, said section being configured to transmit movement of the transmission element to the spray head. The invention further relates to a liquid reservoir, a system, and a use of the liquid reservoir.

Broadcast feeder
11856925 · 2024-01-02 ·

A feeder assembly for dispensing feed to wildlife and other animals. The assembly includes a hopper, such as a conventional gravity-feed hopper. The assembly includes a broadcast feeder that sprays feed from a spinning tray driven by a motor. The feeder housing includes domed plates above and below the tray to direct the spray of feed peripherally and prevent varmints from operating the tray manually. The feeder housing may include an attachment plate to attach the feeder to the inside or outside of the bottom of the hopper. The housing may include a collar that is threadedly connectable to a downwardly extending neck on the attachment plate so the housing can be easily connected to and disconnected from the hopper. A chute control plank in the neck of the housing opens and closes the chute to allow removal of the feeder from the hopper without spilling feed.

A DISPENSING HOPPER AND A METHOD FOR DISPENSING A NON-LIQUID MATERIAL WITH FLOWABLE CHARACTERISTICS

A dispensing hopper (1) for dispensing particulate material comprises a base (3) having a pair of inclined base portions (11) inclining downwardly inwardly towards a dispensing channel (14) of semi-circular transverse cross-section. A dispensing auger (18) located in the dispensing channel (14) urges powder material along the dispensing channel (14) through a dispensing outlet port (15). Agitating discs (30), which are rotatably mounted on the inclined base portions (11), are each provided with a plurality of circumferentially spaced apart gear teeth (36) extending radially from the outer periphery (35) thereof. The gear teeth (36) of the agitating discs (30) engage a flight (21) of the dispensing auger (18) so that as the dispensing auger (18) rotates the agitating discs (30) are rotated. The gear teeth (36) of the agitating discs (30) act on the powder material in the hopper (1) in order to prevent bridging of the powder material over the auger (18). An electrically powered geared motor (23) drives the dispensing auger (18).

Pellet delivery mechanism

Pellet delivery systems capable of reliably and precisely delivering pellets over a large area are disclosed. In some examples, the system can deliver one or more pellets in one delivery cycle using a slide chamber. In other examples, the system can deliver one or more pellets per delivery cycle using a rotating disk comprising one or more holes. In any of these examples, the system can eject the pellets using a projector and/or gravity. The pellet delivery system can, in various examples, be utilized in conjunction with a carrier such as an airborne, terrestrial or aquatic vehicle, or in other examples with a human or animal carrier. Examples of the disclosure are also directed to precise pellet delivery based on the location of the pellet deliver system, pellet delivery tracking, adjusting pellet delivery, and determining paths for efficient pellet delivery.
