Multi-purpose feeder with timed access control
A multi-purpose gravity-fed feeder system comprising a timed-access control system configured to simultaneously provide a combination of different nutrient-rich feed attractants to a target animal at a feeder site during specific hours, the timed-access control system comprising a synchronizing actuator control board with LCD interface, linear actuators, two or more actuator push-pull arms, an actuator tower with assembly mount, a solar panel and charge controller. The feed storage system comprises at least one feed access control door assembly, a dividable hopper with a removeable baffle configured to separate the different nutrient, protein-rich feed attractants and feed metering devices.
Selectively-accessible feeder
An apparatus for baiting and/or feeding target animals comprises: a trough to contain bait and/or feed; and a closure which can be urged by at least one said target animal so as to move from a closed position, in which it precludes access to the bait and/or feed by the target animal(s), to an open position, which is such that said access is enabled, the apparatus being configured such that the closure offers a resistance to being moved which is sufficient that it cannot be urged by another animal to move from the closed position to the open position.
DAYTIME ANIMAL FEEDER
A daytime animal feeder includes a storage housing with a wall arrangement and at least one openable door coupled to the wall arrangement. The feeder further includes an actuator mechanism configured to move the at least one openable door between a closed position and an open position to allow a desirable, preferred animal to access feed located within the storage housing. The feeder further includes a control system configured to control operation of the actuator mechanism to open and close the at least one openable door when predefined conditions are met or manually activated by a user. The daytime animal feeder includes a number of components and features that are purposely designed to interact and provide improved daytime feeder performance including, but not limited to, preventing (i) unscheduled, uncontrolled feeding, (ii) water and/or moisture from penetrating or migrating into the storage housing and damaging the animal feed therein, even when the at least one door is in either the closed position or the open position, and (iii) an undesirable, un-preferred animal from breaching the housing to gain access to the feed therein.
Feeder Chute with Muzzle-activated Selective Access
A feed chute for dispensing to a first kind of animal but rejecting a larger muzzle and tongue of a second kind of animal. A gate is hinged to a first shorter side wall such that the gate forms one side of a dispenser end of the chute when the gate is fully-open, sufficiently large to accommodate a muzzle of the first kind of animal. The gate detente determines a closed position of the dispenser end. When the second kind of animal attempts to access the feed, its wider muzzle urges the gate towards the fully-closed position, which is sufficiently small to prevent entry of the second kind's muzzle and tongue.
ANIMAL WELFARE ECOSYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
An animal welfare ecosystem comprising: a plurality of animal interactive devices, wherein each animal interactive device of the plurality of animal interactive devices is capable of measuring an animal's interaction with said animal interactive device; and a computational hub in a communicative connection with each animal interactive device of the plurality of animal interactive devices. Animal interaction at one animal interactive device will activate one or more of the other animal interactive devices to perform an activity.
Interactive automatic pet food bowl
is an automatic interactive pet food bowl comprising base (2) bowl (4) sensor that activates a retractable cover to protect the contents of the automatic interactive pet food bowl (5) leds (6) rotational energy connecting element (7) motor (8) cover (9) key pad (11) solar paneling material (15) small led screen (18) video screen (19) bluetooth Wi-fi (20) camera (21) outter housing (33) water level indicator sensor (35), hereby referred to as unit.
FOOD DISPENSER AND METHOD OF USING IT
A method of exercising and/or training an animal by providing a plurality of food dispensers charged with one or more food items, including a first food dispenser and at least one second food dispenser, with each food dispenser including a feeding bowl having certain features and wherein the plurality of food dispensers has respective control units programmed to link the plurality of food dispensers to each other in a predetermined execution pattern mode. The method includes providing a signal from the signaling means to the animal to indicate that food may be dispensed from the food dispenser and to guide the animal to the first food dispenser, wherein the signal causes the animal to actuate the manipulation end of the actuator to cause the rotary mechanism to dispense at least one food item via the outlet opening.
HERD FEEDING SYSTEM WITH LOW-COST, EFFICIENT, AND PORTABLE FEED BINS FOR FEEDING INDIVIDUAL ANIMALS
A feeding system for feeding individual animals of a herd feed, supplements, and combinations thereof. The feeding system includes one-to-many feed bin assemblies or feeding stations such that the system is able to dispense a specified mass of feed to specific animals at user-defined intervals. In this way, each animal of a herd is provided with optimal, individualized amounts of feed or feed material. Multiple feed bin assemblies in a single pasture, for example, can automatically form a network of feeders so that regardless of the specific feed bin assembly or feeding station within the feeding system that an animal visits, the specified amount and type of feed or feed material is delivered. Each feed bin assembly or feeding station can also be equipped with an access control mechanism to ensure each animal of a herd receives its individualized amounts of feed or feed material.
Automatic animal feeding system for food pod authentication
An automatic animal feeding system is provided. Embodiments of the automatic animal feeding system include an automatic food dispenser and a food canister storing food pods. The automatic food dispenser couples to the food canister, receives a food pod form the food canister, removes a cover or lid from the food pod, presents the opened food pod for pet consumption, disposes of the food pod into a disposal compartment that is sealed off from the ambient air, and implements other steps of an automatic feeding process. Aspects of the automatic feeding process can be efficiently implemented, for example, by actuating two motors based on data received from sensors of the automatic animal feeding system. Accordingly, embodiments of the present disclosure provide a compact, control-efficient, self-cleaning automatic animal feeding system that can continuously personalize feeding patterns or feed a pet with little to no human intervention over a period of time.
