Valve (6), comprising a base element (26) and a snap ring or snap fingers (48) extending there from, positioned around an opening (27) through the base element (26), wherein within the snap ring or between the snap fingers (48) a valve housing (24) is provided, having at least one inlet opening (9) and a spring loaded valve body (29), biased towards the base element (26) and closing off the opening (27), wherein the valve body (29) is operable through the opening (27) for opening a fluid connection between the inlet opening (9) or openings and the opening (27) in the base element (26).
Machine for producing substantially cylindrical articles
Machine and method for producing a substantially cylindrical article, which comprises a tubular body, a container element, arranged in the area of one end of the tubular element, a heat generating element, partially housed inside the container element, and loose material for generating flavour; in use, the loose material is inserted into the container element, vertically oriented, and the heat generating element is partially inserted into the container element by being moved downwards, so as to obtain a combined element; subsequently, the combined element is at least partially inserted into the tubular body.
ASSEMBLING APPARATUS
An assembling apparatus efficiently performs a recovery operation and a parts size change operation. A filling line (the assembling apparatus) has parts supply units that supply parts, assembling units that mount one of the parts to another part, and a conveying unit that individually moves carriers 12 capable of storing parts constituting an assembly. The parts supply units are provided at positions away from the assembling units, the assembling units are accommodated in an isolator having an interior maintained in an aseptic state, and gloves to perform an operation on the assembling units are provided on a side surface of the isolator. The supply units store the parts in one of the carriers, the carrier then moves into the isolator, and the assembling units take the part from the carrier, and mounts the part to the other part stored in the same carrier.
Rotary lid feeding for overcapper applications
An apparatus for dispensing lids has at least one magazine lane including an entrance end, an exit end, and a longitudinal length defined therebetween. The at least one magazine lane further includes a plurality of side guides along the longitudinal length for guiding the lids therebetween and a pair of rollers for carrying the lids thereon. The apparatus further has a throat plate at or near the exit end, the throat plate including an opening. At least one of the throat plate, the side guides, or the rollers is adaptable so as to accommodate different sizes and/or shapes of lids.
Apparatus for capping a container
An apparatus for capping a container (10) comprises: a conveying device for conveying the container (10) along a path; an applying head (23) for applying a lid (1) onto a neck (9) included in an opening device of the container (10); a welding head (43) arranged downstream of the applying head (23), the welding head (43) comprising a welding element (51) for welding the lid (1) to the opening device.
SPOUTS WITH ANGLED CLAMP FLANGES FOR A PRINT LIQUID SUPPLY
In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a spout for a print liquid reservoir is described. The spout includes a sleeve having an opening through which print liquid passes. A first flange extends outward from the sleeve to affix the spout to the print liquid reservoir. A second flange extends outward from the sleeve to sit on a wall a container in which the print liquid reservoir is disposed. The spout also includes an angled clamp flange having an angled surface and a straight surface opposite the angled surface. The angled clamp flange is to affix the spout to the container.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPTIMIZING THE HEIGHT OF A BOX FOR SHIPPING
A system for closing a shipping container that has a rectangular bottom wall, upstanding side walls extending from the periphery of the bottom wall, and an open top end, includes a sled capable of moving the container between a first station and a second station spaced from the first station, and a flap-folding assembly movable with the sled. The flap-folding assembly is configured to inwardly fold flaps of the container while the sled moves the container between the first station and the second station.
A DISTRIBUTION UNIT FOR FEEDING LIDS TO NECKS OF CONTAINERS
A distribution unit for feeding lids (1) to necks (9) of containers (10) comprises a chute element (102) arranged for receiving a row of lids (1), an outlet opening (103) arranged for releasing said lids (1) one at a time, said outlet opening (103) being intended to be positioned above a conveying device (100) suitable for conveying said containers (10) along an advancement direction (F) so that each of said containers (10) interacts with said chute element (102) to remove a corresponding lid (1) from said outlet opening (103), said distribution unit (101) further comprising a guide element (105) having an active surface (106) extending on an opposite side of said chute element (102) with respect to said outlet opening (103) and arranged for interacting with said lids (1), said active surface (106) having a stepped profile.
Flexible packaging having a lid fitment and method for making the same
A flexible package assembly can include a flexible package formed from a flexible material and a lid fitment attached to the package at the opening wall. The flexible package can include a plurality of walls that cooperate to define an interior volume of the package, including first and second opposed side walls and an opening wall. The first and second opposed side walls include first and second tucks, respectively, adjacent to opening wall. The lid fitment can include a base attached to the opening wall and surrounding the opening, first and second projections extending downwardly from opposed sides of the base; and a lid having a complementary shape to a shape of the base. The base is attached to the opening wall such that the first projection extends at least partially into the first tuck and the second projection extends at least partially into the second tuck.
STATION FOR FEEDING CLOSING SEALS AND METHOD OF SEALING CONTAINERS FOR A PACKAGING LINE
A station for feeding closing seals for containers includes, at least one fixed magazine of seals which is provided with an outlet from which the seals can be taken individually. The station further includes a carousel for feeding seals which can rotate with respect to a first central rotation axis and is provided with pickers which are radially spaced apart from the first rotation axis. The pickers are individually rotatable about a second rotation axis which is not parallel to the first axis of the carousel.
