Then, by moving the drawing-over device 6 along the article 2 that is to be packaged, the tubular film portion 3 is unreefed from the reefing fingers 7 of the drawing-over device 6 and drawn at least in sections over the article 2. During the reefing, the tubular film portion 3 is at least intermittently inflated.
