Apparatus for manufacturing mailpieces, comprising a supply module for supplying cold seal paper to form an envelope body, a feeding module for collating documents to form the content to be inserted in the mailpiece, and a pair of finishing rollers for folding the envelope body around the content and sealing the mailpiece in a single finishing step.
DRUG PORTION PACKAGING DEVICE
The present invention has an object to provide a drug packaging device including a printing unit configured to perform printing by jetting ink and being capable of performing the printing on a packaging paper with high printing quality without including a support, base or the like for the packaging paper. A drug packaging device (10) includes a drug supply unit (20), a packaging unit (30), a packaging paper conveying unit (40), and a printing unit (60). The printing unit (60) includes an ink ejection unit (62) capable of ejecting ink downward. A conveyance path (T) of the packaging paper conveying unit (40) includes: an intersecting-direction conveyance section (T1) for conveying a packaging paper (S) in a direction intersecting an ejection direction of the ink; and a first conveyance direction switching section (46) and a second conveyance direction switching section (48) for changing the conveyance direction of the packaging paper (S) on upstream and downstream, respectively, of the intersecting-direction conveyance section (T1) in a conveyance direction of the packaging paper (S). The ink ejection unit (62) is arranged, at a position spaced, apart upward from the intersecting-direction conveyance section (T1) by a predetermined distance.
PACKAGING SYSTEMS WITH CLIPPER TRIGGER AND RESET CAM ASSEMBLIES EACH COMPRISING A PLURALITY OF CAMS AND RELATED CAM ASSEMBLIES
Packaging systems with a rotatable table top held by a rotatable column, a plurality of circumferentially spaced apart clipper assemblies held at respective clipper stations provided by the rotatable table top, plurality of spaced apart pneumatic valves under the table top in fluid communication with the clipper assemblies, and at least one of: (a) a clipper reset cam assembly held under the rotatable table top with first and second reset cams cam that selectively automatically engage the pneumatic valves as the table rotates; and (b) a clipper trigger cam assembly held under the rotatable table top circumferentially spaced apart from the clipper reset cam assembly with first and second trigger cams that selectively automatically engage the pneumatic valves as the table rotates.
MACHINE FOR PACKAGING ARTICLES INTO BAGS MADE OF FLEXIBLE MATERIAL
A machine for packaging articles into bags made of heat-sealable flexible material starting from a reel of a continuous web having two superimposed flat layers mutually permanently joined along one side and providedalong the other sidewith an openable closure. The machine includes a device for supplying the web having a pair of superimposed parallel guide rollers arranged transversely on opposite sides with respect to the web and whose angular position with respect to the advancement direction of the web is adjustable. The two guide rollers have a superficial shape suitable to avoid both the formation of irregularities of the websuch as folds and creasesas well as the damaging of the openable closure.
