The first material dispensing station includes a dispenser roller configured to hold a roll of the first material, a plurality of rollers configured to convey the first material from the dispenser roller to the first receiving location, and a stripper plate configured remove at least a portion of the first support layer from a portion of the first elastic layer.

A machine for packaging a product into flexible packages and which comprises one or more forming and filling units for forming and filling the packages; each forming and filling unit extends along a longitudinal axis and comprises at least one nozzle, feed means configured to make advance along the longitudinal axis a tubular casing of the material with which to make the packages and having an internal surface facing the nozzle, first longitudinal welding means for joining together at least two sides of the tubular casing and second longitudinal welding means, disposed downstream of said first longitudinal welding means, and configured to join together at least two portions of the internal surface of the tubular casing in a marginal end volume.

The first material includes a first elastic layer and a first support layer. The first material dispensing station includes a dispenser roller configured to hold a roll of the first material, a plurality of rollers configured to convey the first material from the dispenser roller to the first receiving location, and a stripper plate configured remove at least a portion of the first support layer from a portion of the first elastic layer.

In an example embodiment, a doser assembly includes a hopper assembly configured to receive plant material, a bracket assembly connected to the hopper assembly, and a roller in a hopper opening defined by the hopper assembly extending through the hopper assembly. An interior surface of the hopper assembly may define the hopper opening. The bracket assembly may include a shaft extending across a portion of the hopper opening. The roller may be in the portion of the hopper opening of the hopper assembly and may extend between a first part and a second part of the interior surface of the hopper assembly. The roller may be connected to the shaft and may be configured to rotate with rotation of the shaft.
