Pasteurizing Paints and Method for Pasteurizing Paints
Disclosed herein are methods for pasteurizing architectural coating compositions using heat, radiation or other energy sources without additionally polymerizing the compositions and storing same.
Packaging method to enable re-sterilization of medical device
A method of packaging pre-filled medical devices is disclosed. The method comprises producing a packaging having a front panel and a back panel defining a compartment capable of holding one or more medical devices wherein at least one of the front panel or top panel has a portion containing a gas permeable material while the remaining portion of the pouch is gas impermeable. This gas permeable material allows gas to pass through the material and contact the one or more articles contained within the compartment or allows gas to pass through the gas permeable material from the inside of the compartment to the outside of the container. Upon completion of sterilization, the pouch is sealed and the gas permeable portion is cut away leaving the sterilized medical device enclosed in a completely gas impermeable pouch.

AUTOCLAVE OPERATION TO ACCOMMODATE FLUID STERILIZATION CYCLES
Embodiments relate generally to systems and methods for sterilizing a container comprising a liquid, where a method may comprise placing the container within an autoclave vessel; pressurizing the autoclave vessel to an initial pressure, by pressurizing the autoclave vessel with a clean gas via a first valve; after pressurizing the autoclave vessel to the initial pressure, heating the autoclave vessel to sterilize the liquid within the container within the autoclave vessel; controlling the pressure within the autoclave vessel while heating the autoclave vessel to maintain a pressure within 10% of the initial pressure via a second valve; and cooling the autoclave vessel after sterilization.
PROCESSING METHOD FOR ASEPTIC CANNING AND ASEPTIC CANNING SYSTEM
A process method for aseptic canning and an aseptic canning system. The process comprises the following steps: placing a first solid-state food item into a sterilization pot, closing a pot lid of the sterilization pot; warming the interior of the sterilization pot, cooking the first solid-state food item, and sterilizing the first solid-state food item to produce a second solid-state food item; cooling the second solid-state food item in the sterilization pot; and in the aseptic environment within the sterilization pot, placing the cooled solid-state food item into a can and sealing the can. The system applying the process also is provided with a transfer apparatus used for transferring the first solid-state food item and/or the second solid-state food item.

Inline plasma-based system and method for thermal treatment of continuous products
An inline thermal treatment system for thermally treating a continuous product includes a gas supply system configured to supply a first gas flow and a power source configured to supply power. The system includes a plasma torch configured to receive the first gas flow from the gas supply system and power from the power source to form a plasma arc, wherein the plasma arc heats a portion of the continuous product disposed near the plasma arc.

METHOD OF MANUFACTURING BEVERAGE WITHIN CONTAINER
Oxygenated beverages are described herein and methods for production of same. In an embodiment, a beverage delivery system is described including a container and an oxygen-containing aqueous liquid wherein the dissolved oxygen content is from about 25 ppm to about 50 ppm, where the liquid and a gas comprising oxygen within the container provide a pressure force of about 20 PSI to about 35 PSI on the interior surfaces of the container, and wherein the nitrogen content is very low causing a force of less than 17 PSI on the interior surfaces of the container.
Sanitizing process for exposing a food container to multiple sanitizing agents along a circuitous path
A method for sanitizing pre-measured units of a pre-sanitized flowable food product in a sanitizing device installed into an existing food production system without substantially increasing the head height requirement of the feed production system. A plurality of containers are moved about a path with increased retention time through a plurality of stations: a receiving station, one or more sanitizing stations, and a dispensing station, and a container cleaning station. A pre-measured unit measured for packaging is received at the receiving station into a container. The pre-measured unit is exposed to one or more sanitizing agents at one or more sanitizing stations. The pre-measured unit is immediately packaged after sanitization. The pre-measured unit is dispensed into a packaging device at the dispensing station. The containers are then cleaned at the container cleaning station to prepare each container to receive a subsequent pre-measured unit of the pre-sanitized flowable feed product.
