The control unit controls the first and second drive motors such that a free loop of the web expands and/or advances between the first and second drive rollers.
MULTI-NOZZLE DOSING SYSTEM
The present invention relates to an improved nozzle assembly for the high-frequency dispensing of (small) volumes of a dosing fluid in a container, as well as a dosing system according to the nozzle assembly of the invention. The invention also relates to an improved volumetric device for a dosing system.
FILLING FLOW DIVIDER
The invention relates to a filling flow divider for food products and to a method for discharging food products and a filling machine, wherein the filling flow divider has an inlet via which an inflowing mass flow can be divided into a plurality of partial mass flows, transported further in a plurality of partial lines and discharged portion-wise onto or into an object via their outlet, and a plurality of commonly driven dosing devices for adjusting the volume flow of the respective partial mass flows. In this context, a valve device is arranged in each of the respective partial lines, which can divert the partial mass flow such that no mass is discharged via the outlet of the respective partial line.
Method for operating a packaging machine
A method for operating a packaging machine having at least one electric drive motor, the drive motor driving at least one functional unit of the packaging machine in a program-controlled manner when producing packaging using the following steps: (a) loading a parameter set into the control of the packaging machine, the parameter set containing at least one load parameter which limits the torque or the current consumption of the drive motor to a maximum when producing packaging; (b) operating the packaging machine for producing packaging, the maximally occurring actual value of the torque mustered at the drive motor or the current consumed by the drive motor being measured during operation; (c) determining a new load parameter as a function of the maximum actual value; (d) saving the new load parameter in a parameter set allocated to the packaging to be produced.
SECURITY VACUUM PACKAGING AND METHOD FOR CLOSING THE SECURITY VACUUM PACKAGING
A method for closing and securing a safety vacuum packaging in which an object to be secured and a plurality of particles are arranged in an interior space of a container of the safety vacuum packaging. Subsequently, the safety vacuum packaging is vacuumed via a vacuum seal, and the plurality of particles is fixed in a random immobile state. The safety vacuum packaging is closed, and the random immobile state of the particles is captured. The captured random immobile state of the particles is stored for later comparison.
Method for Changing an Existing Access Key in a Field Device in Automation Technology
A method for filling a target volume into a container by means of a measuring arrangement is described and illustrated. The measuring arrangement includes at least one flowmeter for measuring the flow of a medium flowing into the container, at least one actuator and at least one control unit. The flowmeter includes a computing unit. The filling process can be started and ended by actuating the actuator. The control unit is connected to the actuator and the flowmeter via a communication system. The control unit is set up in such a way that, during operation, it sends a control command to the actuator to end the filling process when a defined limit value of the fill volume, which correlates with the target volume, is reached.
FLOW REGULATION SYSTEM FOR THE FILLING OF A SACK WITH A GRANULAR PRODUCT, AND CORRESPONDING MACHINE AND METHOD
A flow control system (1) for filling a bag (100) with a granular product, comprising an acceleration conduit (2) with a metering side (4) where there is arranged a metering device (6) and a filling side (10) for the bag (100). A control device (14) with movable control blades (16) and a first sensor (S1) is provided at an intermediate point (22) of the conduit (2). A second sensor (S2) is provided on the filling side (10). The control device (14) and sensors (S1, S2) are functionally associated with one another such that the blades (16) of said control device (14) move among one position of said plurality of positions depending on if said first and second sensors (S1, S2) detect an accumulation of granular product on said filling side (10) which may delay the filling of said bag (100). The invention also relates to a machine and a filling method.
A METHOD FOR ADJUSTING AN INLET PRESSURE OF A PACKAGING MACHINE
A method (400) for controlling a regulating valve (206) of a packaging machine (100), wherein the packaging machine (100) is a roll-fed packaging machine configured to receive a roll of a carton-based packaging material (102). The packaging machine (100) is configured to be connected to a processing line (202) via the regulating valve (206), wherein the processing line (202) is configured to feed a liquid food product (216) to the packaging machine (100) through the regulating valve (206). The method (400) comprises determining (S402) a product flow, using a flow meter (106), of the liquid food product in the packaging machine (100); determining (S404) an inlet pressure measurement (306), using a pressure sensor (204), of the liquid food product in the packaging machine (100); and making use of the inlet pressure measurement to the packaging machine (100) for adjusting the regulating valve (206), said regulating valve being configured to receive an output signal from a flow feed forward module (308) in combination with an output signal from a flow proportional-integral-derivative (PID) module (310), wherein the flow feed forward module (308) has the inlet pressure measurement (306) and a flow set point as input signals, and wherein the flow PID module (310) has the product flow and the flow set point as input signals.
