METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PACKAGING HAVING A CIRCUMFERENTIAL EDGE FLANGE AND A BARRIER FILM
A method for producing packaging comprises providing the shell part that defines an opening, a cavity at least partially formed by a bottom wall and side walls, and a continuously circumferential lower contact surface at a constant height around the opening of the cavity and providing a collar including the circumferential edge flange. At least one bottom tool is structured to comprise aa lower contact surface and a cavity configured to receive the shell part. At least one top tool is structured to comprise an upper contact surface. The shell part is inserted into the cavity of the at least one bottom tool and the collar is placed on the lower contact surface. A barrier film is placed over the edge flange and pressed to form a tray that is filled with goods. A sealing film is then pressed against the barrier film to seal the goods within the tray.
DEVICE FOR PREPARING PLASTIC CONTAINERS FOR BEING PUT INTO USE
A device for preparing plastic containers (16) for being put into use, wherein said containers (16) are molded to one another in container blocks (17) side by side along separating lines (18), along which the individual containers (16) can be separated from one another for use, and along which cutter blades (28) are movably guided at least in part, is characterized in that the respective cutter blade (28), arranged on a carriage (64), is movably guided back and forth between a position of use and a position of non-use, and in that in the position of use the respective cutter blade (28) raised by a swivel device (54, 78, 82) moves along the respectively assignable separating line (18), and, in its position of non-use, is lowered at a distance from the containers (16) to be separated from one another.
TRANSFER DEVICE AND PROCESS
In a device and in a process for transferring discrete elements, fed in a row with a predetermined spacing, a correspondence is ensured between a linear release segment, and a not entirely linear portion of transport path. A carousel-like transport device is provided, where receiving members move along the transport path. A receiving segment is defined, where each receiving member receives a respective discrete element. A release device is further provided, on which the discrete elements are transported along a linearly developing release path having a release segment and intersecting the transport path at the receiving segment. A timing equipment acting on the receiving members by moving them with respect to the transport device is also provided.
Free-standing blister pack
A free-standing blister pack made by heating molding plastic material, film or sheet, creating a container portion of a fixed space, storing a product such as cosmetic, fragrance, or homecare products in the space, and having a cover sheet attached to a flange of the container portion so as to create a sealing function. The blister packaging has a support structure to hold the blister upright after the removal of the perforation and score feature allowing the product to remain in a free-standing position after assembly.
Pack for cigarettes and method and apparatus for producing said pack
A cigarette pack in the form of a sealing pack consisting of an inner pack and an outer pack in the form of a hinge-lid box. An opening aid of the inner pack is provided with a removal opening which is formed as an open recess as a result of punching during the production of a blank for the inner pack, in particular in the region of a continuous material web. Said removal opening, which is free right from the start, is closed by a closure tab which is able to be opened and closed multiple times on account of a corresponding glue connection. The closure tab is preferably connected permanently to the inside of a lid front wall of the outer pack by means of an actuating tab.
Inspection device, PTP packaging machine and inspection method
An inspection device used in manufacture of a Press Through Package (PTP) sheet includes a container film including a pocket portion in which a content is placed and a cover film closing the pocket portion. The inspection device includes: an illumination device that irradiates the content with near-infrared light; a spectroscope that disperses reflected light from the content irradiated with the near-infrared light; an imaging device that takes an image of an optical spectrum of the reflected light dispersed by the spectroscope and acquires spectroscopic image data; and a controller that obtains spectral data of the content based on the spectroscopic image data, executes an inspection of the content based on the spectral data of the content, and executes good or poor quality judgment of the content.
Inspection device and PTP packaging machine
An inspection device is used in manufacture of a PTP sheet that comprises a container film including a pocket portion in which a content is placed and a cover film closing the pocket portion. The inspection device includes: an illumination device that emits near infrared light; a light shield that is placed between the illumination device and the container film and prevents the near infrared light from entering the container film; a through hole in the light shield that allows the near infrared light to pass through; a spectroscope that disperses reflected light from the content; an imaging device that images an optical spectrum of the reflected light and obtains spectroscopic image data; and a controller that: obtains spectral data of the content based on the spectroscopic image data; and performs a predetermined inspection with regard to the content based on the spectral data of the content.
Sealing station and method for producing skin packaging with tear-off corner
A sealing station for a packaging machine, the sealing station may be a tray sealer. The sealing station includes an upper die with a sealing plate and a lower die with a tray holder for receiving at least one packaging tray to be sealed. A cutting blade is arranged within the sealing station, and cuts a lid for closing the packaging tray out of a top film. The cutting blade has an endless cutting edge for cutting out the lid along its contour. The cutting blade includes a first and a second blade section, for cutting out a first and second section of the contour of the lid respectively. The second blade section may produce a tear-off corner in the lid projecting beyond the edge region. The sealing station may include a first clamping jaw on the sealing plate, and a second clamping jaw on the tray holder.
SANITIZING LIGHT ASSEMBLY
The invention relates generally to a sanitizing device that may comprise of an enclosure, a conveyor module, a plurality of sanitizing light sources, and possibly a sealing module. Objects that need to be sanitized may be transported or placed inside the enclosure and can be exposed to sanitizing lights from a plurality of sanitizing light sources. After the exposure to the sanitizing lights, the objects may convey out of the apparatus or go through a sealing module before exiting the enclosure. The conveyor module of the sanitizing device may be driven by torque created by an exterior conveyor belt or a motorized mechanism integrated within the apparatus.
THERMOFORMING PACKAGING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A FILM PUNCH
A thermoforming packaging machine includes a forming station for thermoforming troughs in a film web, a filling path for filling products into the troughs, a sealing station for sealing the troughs, a chain guide for guiding a transport chain for the film web, a transverse cutting device for cutting the film web in a direction transverse to the transport direction, a longitudinal cutting device for cutting the film web in the transport direction, and a control device for controlling processes running on the thermoforming packaging machine. The transverse cutting device comprises a film punch, an adjustment drive which can be controlled by the control device for closing and opening the film punch, and a detection unit which is connected to the control device and which has at least one sensor which is configured to detect, per processing cycle, a force progression occurring at the film punch during opening and closing.
