DOG COAT WITH CONCEALABLE OUTER LAYER
A garment for a four legged animal comprises a first expanse configured to substantially cover the trunk of an animal. A first set of wings are coupled to a proximal end of the first expanse and configured to secure together about the neck of the animal. A second set of wings are coupled to the first expanse distally to the first set and configured to secure together about the trunk of the animal. A collar extending forwardly from the proximal end of the first expanse is configured to be folded back to create a gap with the first expanse. The second expanse is configured to attach to and substantially cover the first expanse in a first, unfurled position and to roll up adjacent the proximal end of the first expanse in a second, stowed position within the gap formed between the collar and the first expanse.
A GARMENT
A smart animal garment 1, such as a horse blanket 1, for an animal 5 in which the garment 1 can extend around the chest area 8a, shoulders 27 and towards the hindquarters of the animal 5 and is fitted with sensors 3 for monitoring the health and wellbeing of the animal 5 and the data parameters detected by the sensors 3 are communicable to a stable mounted communications hub 6 via a monitor 4 located for example at the chest portion 8a of the garment 1.
Animal Blanket Assembly
A horse safety assembly includes a blanket that is draped over an animal. The blanket is comprised of an electrically conductive material. An insulator is coupled to the blanket and the insulator rests on the animal when the blanket is positioned on the animal. The insulator is comprised of an electrically insulating material. A plurality of straps is provided and each of the straps is coupled to the blanket. Each of the straps is selectively matable to each other to retain the blanket on the animal. A shock unit is coupled to the blanket and the shock unit is in electrical communication with the blanket. The shock unit delivers an electrical shock to an attacker when the attacker attacks the animal. In this way the attacker is repelled from the animal.
EQUINE BLANKET AND ADJUSTABLE BLANKET SYSTEM
An equine adjustable blanket system for a horse having a neck, a back, a barrel, a dock, a withers, a chest, a mane, at least one shoulder, a point of said at least one shoulder, a forearm, and at least one scapula is disclosed. The equine adjustable blanket system has a horse blanket and a yoke device. The horse blanket is disposable upon and in contacting engagement with the back of the horse and the yoke device is disposable upon and in contacting engagement with the chest of the horse. The yoke device and the horse blanket being mutually and matingly couplable to each other to form the equine adjustable blanket system.
EQUINE YOKE CLOSURE DEVICE AND ADJUSTABLE BLANKET SYSTEM
A yoke device for a horse having a neck, a back, a barrel, a dock, a withers, a chest, a mane, at least one shoulder, a point of said at least one shoulder, a forearm, and at least one scapula is disclosed. The yoke device comprises a material having a Y shape, a belly end, a withers end, and a main body portion. The withers end comprises a pair of elongate strips splaying outwardly from a central point disposed within the main body portion and forming a neck opening therebetween. The pair of elongate strips circumscribe the neck of the horse when the elongate strips are disposed about the neck of the horse. The main body portion overlaps the chest of the horse when the main body portion of the yoke device is disposed in overlapping engagement with the chest of the horse.
SLIDABLY MOVEABLE CONNECTOR DEVICE
A slidably moveable connector device is disclosed. The slidably moveable connector device comprises an elongate member and at least a first snap. The elongate member has a first end and a second end disposed distal thereto both first end and a second end being fixably attached to a surface. The at least a first snap has a first end connectively and slidably disposed about the elongate member.
Horse jacket
A horse jacket includes a front portion and a rear portion. The front portion covers a chest part of a horse and the rear portion covers the back and side parts of the horse. The horse jacket further includes first and second attachment devices that connect first and second sides of the front portion to first and second sides of the rear portion. The front portion includes at least one filling element.
Heatable Garment, Fabrics for Such Garments, and Methods of Manufacture
The present invention relates to heatable garments (1), comprising a garment body (3) and a heating pad (5) adhered to at least a portion of the garment body (3), wherein the heating pad (5) comprises graphene particles dispersed in a polymer matrix material. The invention also provides fabrics for making such garments, and methods of making such garments and fabrics. Also provided are heatable bedding incorporating a heating pad as described above.
A CLOSURE SYSTEM FOR THE FRONT END OF A HORSE RUG
A closure system (10) for the front end (11) of a horse rug (12) which holds together the sides (13, 14) of the horse rug (12) over the chest of a horse (indicated by reference numeral 15). The closure system (10) consists of a pair of opposed straps (16, 17), each strap (16, 17) being fixed to a respective side (13, 14) of the rug (12) at the front end (11) thereof, and a connector (18) to which each strap (16, 17) is attachable, the connector (18) being of a shape such that, in use, when the sides (13, 14) of the front end (11) of the rug (12) are brought together and the straps (16, 17) are attached to the connector (18), the connector (18) sits snugly against the horse's chest (at 15), which minimises the possibility of the closure becoming snagged by any obstacles.
HORSE BLANKET
A horse blanket (100) comprising a lower edge (110) at least partially defining a cut out (124), and a flap (138) having a loose edge (136) that overlaps the lower edge (110), the flap (138) being configured to pass through the cut out (124) to wrap against the belly of a horse (116) when the blanket is secured to the horse.
