WALL-MOUNTED SCRATCHING STRUCTURE ASSEMBLY FOR CATS
A wall-mounted scratching structure assembly for cats includes a mounting frame affixed to a vertical surface, the mounting frame including a wall-facing surface mounted against the vertical surface, a post-facing surface facing away from the vertical surface, and an attachment mechanism affixing the mounting frame to the vertical surface. The attachment mechanism may further allow a plurality of assemblies to be connected so as to create a stable, continuous climbing path for a cat.
All-In-One Cat Housing Apparatus
An all-in-one cat housing apparatus for providing living, eating, and bathroom space for a cat includes a housing structure having a top side, a bottom side, a front side, a rear side, a left side, a right side, and an inside. A plurality of apertures extends through to the inside. An upper divider is coupled within the inside to form an upper compartment between the upper divider and the top side. A lower divider is coupled within the inside to form a middle compartment between the lower divider and the upper divider and a bottom compartment between the lower divider and the bottom side. A drawer is coupled within the upper compartment. The drawer is slidable through the top front aperture and is configured to receive cat litter to function as a litter box. A scratching post is coupled to the top side of the housing structure.
Wall-Mounted Shelf for Pets
The present invention provides an elongated wall-mounted animal perch made from layers of pre-shaped laminated cellulous sheet stock, secured to each other along a longitudinal axis, using an appropriate adhesive, or mechanical tension. According to the invention, select panels of cellulous sheet stock include a predetermined cleat shape cutout so that after the individual panels are collectively laminated to form a solid shelf structure, a functional mounting cleat is effectively formed integrally into a rear surface of the shelf. The integrally-formed mounting cleat is sized and shaped to snugly and selectively engage a wall-mounted cleat, during mounting. The two cleats engage to support the animal shelf firmly against a wall surface while remaining hidden from view. According to a second embodiment, two opposing shelf-mount cleats with a common shape are integrally formed within the same recess formed on the rear surface of the shelf. The opposing cleats allow the shelf to be quickly and easily inverted and re-secured to the same wall-mounted cleat. This provides the user to select different surfaces of the shelf, or to provide a new scratching surface, depending on the details of the particular shelf.
CANINE PAW SELF-GROOMING APARATUS
The disclosure presented herein relates to a canine paw-grooming device that is specially adapted to cause a dog to be likely to interact with said device. The present invention is door-mounted dog paw-grooming station. Because dogs do not have an instinctual drive to groom their own nails, the mere provision of a grooming station is insufficient to induce a dog to actually use such a device. The present invention takes advantage of many dogs' tendency to paw or scratch at doors repeatedly. By securely affixing an abrasive surface to an area that a dog is likely to scratch, a dog can be induced to file its own nails in a predictable and repeatable way.
Furniture protecting scratching device
A furniture protecting scratching post device. The device includes a base having a pair of sidewalls extending upwardly therefrom wherein the sidewalls are oriented perpendicularly to each other. A top portion is disposed on the upper ends of the sidewalls such that the top portion and the pair of sidewalls define an interior channel. The interior channel is sized to receive the front and side portions of a chair or couch, such that the top portion of the device rests on a front portion of the armrest. A carpeting material is disposed on the base, sidewalls, and top portion. The carpeting material is embedded with catnip to encourage cats to scratch the device rather than the furniture which it is secured to. In this way, the furniture protecting scratching device is adapted to protect an object such as a chair or couch from a cat's scratches.
Feline scratch pad assembly
A feline scratch pad assembly includes a stand that is positioned between a foot of an article of furniture and a floor. The stand is positioned to extend upwardly along a corner on the article of furniture. A plurality of scratch pads is each releasably positioned on the stand to cover the corner on the article of furniture. Each of the scratch pads is comprised of a deformable material to withstand being clawed by a feline thereby satisfying the feline's urge to claw. A pair of mounts is provided and each of the mounts is coupled to an associated one of the scratch pads. Each of the mounts releasably engages the stand thereby retaining the scratch pads on the stand.
