A PRESSURE RESISTANT BASIC SHELL, EASY OPEN END AND CAN WITH EASY OPEN END
A pressure resistant basic shell, easy open end and can with easy open end, wherein the basic shell consists of a can seaming portion, a countersink portion, a ferrule arc portion, an upward extension portion of ferrule and a center panel from periphery to center in the cross section; the countersink portion also consists of a sixth arc portion and a second straight portion, and the sixth arc portion and the second straight portion are connected in a tangent way, and the second straight portion and the ferrule arc portion are connected in a tangent way; the center of the sixth arc portion is located below the upper surface of the center panel. The break probability under the failure of pressure resistance is lowered to 0.05%˜2.5%, which significantly improves the safety of use.
Constructive arrangement for the opening of a beverage can
An apparatus is disclosed and includes a can, which has an end wall incorporating a vent panel and a pouring panel, both panels presenting a contour defined by a rupture line. The apparatus includes an actuation tab with an extracting end portion affixed to the vent panel. The actuation tab includes a punching end portion affixed to the pouring panel and a lower end tooth to be pressed against a spot region of the rupture line of the pouring panel. The actuation tab includes a grip portion affixed to the extracting end portion and is designed to be manually and upwardly actuated for detaching the vent panel from the end wall. The grip portion is designed to punch and rupture the spot region of the rupture line of the pouring panel and, subsequently, detaching the latter from the end wall.
LID FOR BEVERAGE CANS
An illustrated view of an exemplary lid for protecting a top of a beverage can is presented. The lid is useful for protecting the top of the beverage can from dirt, grime and bacteria which may be inadvertently gathering on the top of the beverage can. The dirt, grim and bacteria may cause disease, illness, a distasting of a beverage of the beverage can, etc. The lid has a bottom surface and an interior side surface. The interior side surface of the is an opposite side of the side surface of the top of the lid. The interior side surface of the lid is preferably has a ribbed pattern. The bottom surface of the lid has an opener which is also used to secure the lid to the top of the beverage can.
Beverage can top cover
A lid assembly for a beverage can has a base and a closure member that can be swiveled relative to the base between a position in which a drinking port in the top of a can is exposed to allow drinking through the port and a position in which the drinking port is covered. The base is snap fitted over a rim at the top of the can.
SMALL LIQUID CONTAINERS
A small volume metal beverage can is provided. The small volume metal beverage can has a diameter approximately equal to a convention, single serving beverage can, which is typically a diameter of between about 2.0 and 2.25 inches, and a length, significantly less than 2.0 inches but sufficient to contain the required volume of liquid for the small volume that comprises a typical single serving size, which single serving size may range from about 0.5 ounces to about 2.5 ounces. The small volume metal beverage can has a base and a top lid connected by a cylindrical sidewall. The base, top lid, and cylindrical sidewall forms a generally squat form taking a shape similar to an ice hockey puck. The top lid is generally formed with a removable opening, such as, for example, a pull tab or pop top. The small volume metal beverage can is stackable on a conventional beverage can.

Tamper evident tabbed sealing member having a foamed polymer layer
A pull-tab sealing member for a container providing a foamed polymer layer positioned within the sealing member for effective heat sealing to the container together with a lower laminate below a tab capable of tearing to provide a tamper evident structure below the tab.
Container Closure
An automatic opening and closing device for a container comprises a closure flap within the container and a pivot arm with a weighted portion. When the container is in a first position, the centre of mass of the weighted portion is offset horizontally and vertically from the pivot point of the pivot arm and acts to bias the closure flap to close an opening in the container. When the container is rotated in a first direction to a second position, the weighted portion causes the pivot arm and closure flap to rotate relative to the container in a second direction opposite to the first direction, to bias the closure flap away from the opening. In the first position, the weighted portion is offset vertically by a greater distance than it is offset horizontally. A locking mechanism may also be provided, which is operable to the user to keep the container closed even when tilted.
DUAL ACTING POP TOP LID
A container includes an end wall having a rivet and a frangible score line that defines a curved tongue shaped panel. The frangible score line terminates at each end substantially on a radial line extending from a lever mounting hole formed within the curved tongue shaped panel. A tab is riveted to the lever-mounting hole to act as second-degree lever. The tab has a first actuating point extending toward the distal looping portion of the frangible score line. The tab has a fulcrum portion extending opposite to the first actuating point and terminating within the curved tongue shape. Lifting of the first actuating point pulls upward on the curved tongue shaped panel at the distal looping portion imparts a shear force of the frangible score line to initiate upward rolling of an extended portion of the curved tongue shaped panel.
Child resistant senior friendly can topper mechanism
There is shown in embodiments of a closure mechanism configured to fit over the top of the can and prevent access. The closure mechanism is a child resistant senior friendly mechanism that can be opened and removed by the senior when access to the can is desired. The closure mechanism is designed for a single use as once removed it will no longer prevent access of the top of the can.
