Bottle for adaptive reuse
10865024 · 2020-12-15 · ·

A bottle for adaptive reuse includes a bottle body defining an open interior configured to hold a substance therein. A chamber is formed into the bottle body at least in part by a wall between the open interior and the chamber. The chamber is selectively isolated from the open interior of the bottle. A sealing plate at least partially defines the chamber and an outer surface of the bottle. A threaded structure secures the sealing plate to the bottle body.

DUAL PRIMARY-SECONDARY PACKAGE
20200377260 · 2020-12-03 ·

The present application provides a dual primary-secondary package. The dual primary-secondary package includes a first container, a second container, a first label attached to the first container and the second container, and a second label attached to the first container and the second container. Rotating the first container and the second container causes the first label to roll off of the second container and attach fully to the first container and the second label to roll off of the first container and attach fully to the second container.

A PACKAGE

The present disclosure relates to a package that includes a beverage bottle and a label that minimizes or eliminates flagging. The label can be transparent and includes a first film and a second film. The first film includes cast polypropylene. The second film includes oriented polypropylene. The first film and the second film are coterminous and are adhesively attached to each other. The density of the first film and the second film are substantially equal. The label includes a Modified Young's Modulus that is 30% less than a comparative label that does not include cast polypropylene.

Three-Dimensional Printing of a Porous Matrix on a Container
20200283332 · 2020-09-10 ·

This disclosure describes container(s) having an ultraviolet (UV)-cured matrix and methods to create the same. For example, a glass container according to this disclosure has a bottom and a body extending in a direction away from the bottom along a longitudinal axis. The body has a surface having an UV-cured matrix including UV-curable varnish drops arranged in a plurality of layers and having voids existing therebetween to form a porous matrix structure. One method to form the glass container is to apply a layer of UV-curable varnish to an outer surface of the glass container as a plurality of varnish drops, so as to establish a plurality of voids between the varnish drops, cure the layer of UV-curable varnish, apply one or more additional layers of UV-curable varnish, and cure the additional layer(s) of UV-curable varnish, wherein all of the varnish drops and the voids form the UV-cured matrix.

Decoration by Sublimation Transfer Sheet
20200269541 · 2020-08-27 ·

A sublimation transfer sheet assembly including a first layer and an dye or ink layer positioned on a first side of the first layer. The first layer and the dye or ink layer being positioned such that when the sublimation transfer sheet assembly is wrapped about an object with the dye or ink layer facing the object, a first edge portion of the sublimation transfer sheet assembly is overlapped by a second edge portion of the sublimation transfer sheet assembly, and the first edge portion is interposed between the second edge portion and the object.

BEVERAGE CONTAINER LABELING SYSTEM
20200239190 · 2020-07-30 ·

A beverage container label including a label having an outward surface, an inward surface, removable stickers, and a removable cover. The label is defined by the outward surface and the inward surface and includes the removable stickers disposed about a top edge and a bottom edge of the label. The inward surface of the label has adhesive such that the inward surface of the label is configured to be adhesively applied to a surface of a beverage container. The removable cover may be peeled off to expose the removable stickers for use. The removable stickers include graphics. The removable stickers may be selectively removed from the label and re-applied to the surface of the beverage container providing a modular, customizable, and user-arranged personalized message.

Packaging system and methods of alerting a practitioner

A packaging system includes a container having a closed end an open end, a longitudinal axis running through the closed end and the open end, and an outer surface. A closure assembly fitted to the open end of the container has an access port. The system also includes a detachable cap disposed over the access port, and a label disposed about the container, characterized in that the label has a first region angled relative to the longitudinal axis, which first region consists essentially of a name of an injectable drug product, and a second region angled relative to the longitudinal axis, which second region consists essentially of a concentration of the injectable drug product, whereby the said first and second regions are angled such as to lie in planes that make non-zero as well as non-right angles with the longitudinal axis.

Microstructured packaging surfaces for enhanced grip

A label with improved physical properties comprising: a base layer having a microstructured area; a composite microstructure having a first, second and third set of microstructures disposed on the microstructured area; a dry lift force attributable to the composite microstructure greater than 7 pounds according to lift testing; a wet lift force attributable to the composite microstructure greater than 7 pounds according to lift testing; an adhesive layer affixed to the base layer for affixing the label to a container; and, thereby providing a microstructured label having improved gripping physical properties that can be affixed to a container.
