Device to secure plastic trash liner to receptacle and closure device
The present invention relates to a disk-shaped device for securing plastic trash liners in a trash receptacle, with two durable 53 mm diameter, 3 mm thick embodiments. The first embodiment has eight isosceles triangular flaps, positioned around the central point, with tips at the center and bases in contact with the circumferential rim. The second embodiment has eight curvilinear arced triangular flaps, positioned around the central point, with bases in contact with the circumferential rim and tips positioned around a central 2 mm aperture. The liner is threaded through the central point or aperture, allowing the flaps to flex and create a tight seal, preventing slipping.
Integrated carton reclose feature
A storage assembly comprises a sleeve and a container. The sleeve defines an interior void operable to receive a foodstuff. The container defines an interior cavity operable to receive the sleeve. The container includes a first sidewall and a second sidewall. A first flap is attached to the first sidewall and a second flap is attached to the second sidewall. The second flap includes at least one clip removably attached to the second sidewall. The clip comprises an aperture for receiving a portion of the sleeve therein.
Suture securement devices
Disclosed herein are exemplary embodiments of suture securement devices that replace the need to tie knots in sutures. Some embodiments comprise an annular outer body and one or more suture engagement tabs extending inwardly from the outer body. The devices can comprise a superelastic and/or shape-memory material and have a generally in-plane initial configuration. The suture engagement portions are deformable out-of-plane to an active configuration with the outer body compressed and the tabs interlocked with each other. The device can be heat-set in the deformed configuration. The interlocked tabs exert a pinching force on sutures passing between them that restricts the sutures from sliding through the opening in one longitudinal direction.
Produce Container
An embodiment includes a bag comprising mesh and film side walls and a reinforcing strip of film; wherein (a) the mesh side wall is sealed to opposing side edges of the film side wall; (b) the reinforcing strip of film is sealed to an upper portion of the mesh side wall and to the opposing side edges of the film side wall; (c) the film side wall has a bottom extension, which is monolithic with the film side wall, extending upwardly and sealed along a lateral extent of a bottom portion of the mesh side wall; (d) the film side wall is non-coplanar with a portion of the bottom extension; (e) another portion of the bottom extension is non-coplanar with the mesh side wall; and (f) a horizontal axis intersects the bottom portion of the film side wall and three portions of the bottom extension.
CLIP SYSTEM FOR CLOSING BAGS
The invention is designed to provide a closure for plastic bags for frequent or daily use. The invention comprises a V-shaped opening (A

System and Method for Bag Closure Clip Production
A system is configured to produce a series of printed clips. The system includes a source of web material, a cutting station, a drive assembly and a printing station. The web material is configured to pass through the system in a machine direction. The cutting station is configured to cut a first portion of the web material into at least a first clip, index the first portion after cutting, and sequentially cut a second portion of the web material into at least a second clip. Cut portions of the web material exit the cutting station in a free loop. A drive assembly is configured to feed web material of the free loop through the printing station at a web speed. The printing station is configured to print indicia on a first surface of the cut portions of the web material.
