An outer cap has a ceiling covering an upper portion of the inner cap and a side wall portion covering an outer circumferential surface of the neck, the ceiling and the side wall portion being integrally formed. The inner circumferential surface of the side wall portion has female threads corresponding to male threads on the outer circumferential surface of the neck.
Terpolymers for caps and closures
Polymer compositions may comprise propylene, present in a range of 80 to 95 wt % of the polymer composition, and two comonomers selected from a group comprising ethylene and C4-C10 alpha olefins, wherein the polymer composition has a total content of the comonomers in the range of 5 to 20 wt % of the polymer composition. Cap liners may be formed from the polymer compositions. Caps may comprise a closure formed from polypropylene and a polypropylene-based cap liner that lines at least a portion of the closure.
Vessel closures and methods for using and manufacturing same
Vessel closures having a variety of inserts for aseptically sealing vessels. The vessel closures have a body with one or more apertures, one or more inserts extending axially through the one or more apertures, and a cast seal surrounding the inserts. The cast seal is preferably east silicone. The vessel closures may have one or more anchors securing the inserts to the body of the vessel closure. Also disclosed are methods of manufacturing vessel closures and a method of using the vessel closures disclosed herein for circulating fluids into and out of a vessel while also having the ability to regulate the temperature of the pumped fluid.
Sealing assembly for a closure
A sealing assembly for a closure is disclosed where the closure is for applying to an opening. The sealing assembly includes a substantially rigid cap portion for seating the sealing assembly in a roof portion of the closure and an insert portion attachable to the cap portion. The insert portion includes a flexible skirt portion extending from the insert portion and operable to contact an inner wall region of the opening on application of the closure to the opening. In one embodiment, the sealing assembly is for closures for sealing bottles of sparkling wine and the like.
SHAKER TOP WITH FRESHNESS SEAL AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A shaker top for dispensing products in a laundry soap bottle, including a peelable protective cover affixed upon a dispensing liner having an orifice, the dispensing liner affixed to a mouth of the laundry soap bottle. A method of manufacturing a shaker top with a peelable protective cover, including the steps of affixing a peelable protective cover upon a dispensing liner, assembling a top unit including the peelable protective cover and the dispensing liner, affixing the top unit to a mouth of a container, and covering the container with a cap. A shaker top with a peelable protective cover attached to a container, manufactured by the method of manufacture. A method of using a laundry soap bottle having a shaker top with a seal.
HAIR COLORING KIT AND METHODS OF USE AND DOING BUSINESS
A hair color retouch kit, components of the kit, and methods of use and doing business. The kit can include one or more mixing containers. In one embodiment, a mixing container provides a colorant compartment for sealingly or separately containing a custom hair coloring formulation and peroxide compartment for sealingly or separately containing peroxide. The mixing container(s) can be used by a professional hair colorist to provide a hair coloring client with custom hair coloring formulation and peroxide that can be mixed and applied by or for the client to hair regrowth that occurs after a hair coloring session with the professional. The kit can provide other components as desired, such as a mixing spatula, an applicator brush, and instructions for example. The kit can be packaged in attractive and efficient packaging, include indicia identifying the source of the kit, and be customized to promote the colorist, salon, or other entity.
Lid For Container
An insulating container can be configured to retain a volume of liquid, and include a first inner wall having a first end having an opening extending into an internal reservoir, and a second outer wall forming an outer shell. The opening can be sealed by a closure, the closure having an upper portion with a handle that has a circular curvature equal to the cylindrical portion of the closure. The closure may also have a lower portion that is joined to the upper portion by an injection molded polymer element. The closure may also be in the form of flip type of closure such that the lid can be selectably opened or closed by the user by rotating a flip closure into either the opened or closed position. The closure may also be a two-part lid having a lower cap that may be configured to be removably-coupled to the container and an upper cap that may be configured to be removably-coupled to the lower cap.
