REMOVABLE CAP

This invention relates to a removable cap which is metallic to facilitate recovery and recycling.

The removable metal cap is for a container, such as tin or jar which may contain supplements or foodstuffs.

The metallic removable cap has a thread for screwing the metal cap onto a threaded opening of a container. A retaining bead is provided on its inner surface and retains a two-piece wad. The two-piece wad is formed from an upper (cap) layer and a lower (container) layer.

When installed the lower layer seals the container and the retaining bead retains the two-piece wad until removal of the metal cap from the container whereupon the upper layer of the wad separates from the lower layer of the wad and is held inside the metal cap by the retaining bead.

RESEALABLE BEVERAGE CONTAINER

A resealable beverage container comprising: a cylindrical body having an open first end portion and a closed second end portion; a radially inwardly extending ledge disposed circumferentially on the body at the open first end portion; a neck section disposed upward from the ledge terminating in an upper edge in an outward curled seal lip defining a pour opening; said neck section having a generally cylindrical central upper part, the outer surface of the central upper part having a first diameter; a first set of lug channels defined by the central upper part and formed inward to the first diameter about the central upper part for cooperation with a cap closure member; a removable cap closure member covering the pouring opening and including a top wall and a cap body shaped to extend downward from said top wall around the central upper part, said cap body terminating in a generally circular lower rim; and a set of lugs formed or attached inward within the cap body of the cap closure member to a second diameter less than the first diameter to be received in the lug channels to retain the cap closure member onto the neck portion.

CLOSURE FOR A PRODUCT RETAINING CONTAINER

A screw cap closure for a beverage receptacle (e.g., a bottle) includes an inner part head and an inner part skirt having a thread for co-operating with a thread finish on a neck of the beverage receptacle, and includes an outer part including a film having at least two layers, wherein the outer part at least partially encloses and hides at least the inner part skirt. The outer part may include at least one longitudinal join or connection between elements. Formation of the outer part may include extrusion of the film, or at least one layer thereof, in tubular form.

A flat tire repair liquid container is provided with: a closing stopper, which is formed from a non-elastomer material and is capable of sliding inside a flow channel; and a sealing member, which is formed from an elastomer material, is disposed in a ring shape conforming to an inner wall surface of a flow channel, closes a gap between the closing stopper and the flow channel, and holds the closing stopper at a predetermined position. During storage, the closing stopper is engaged with the sealing member to close the flow channel. During flat tire repair work, the closing stopper is pushed out from the sealing member by pressure inside the container and moved toward the outer side of the container in the flow channel to open the flow channel.

CONTAINER WITH A DISPENSING SCHEDULE

The current disclosure is directed to a container with a dispensing schedule. In one implementation, the container with a dispensing schedule comprises a bottle with a threaded neck and a complementarily threaded cap having a cylindrical rim and an internal schedule display. An indication on or within the internal schedule display is displayed through an aperture in the cap rim. Features included in the cap and schedule display interoperate to ensure that the displayed indication is advanced when the cap is removed from, and subsequently threaded onto, the bottle container. The displayed indication is relatively large and clear, to facilitate viewing by vision-impaired users, and the indication-advancement mechanism is robust and reliable. In addition, the cap and internal schedule display include features that allow the displayed indication to be set to a particular indication.
