CLOSURE
A canister includes a closure configured to mount on a container to close an open mouth into a product storage region formed in the container. The closure includes a lid and a lid retainer coupled to the lid. The lid retainer is configured to mate with an external thread on the container to retain the closure in a mounted position on the container.
Container and container engaging member suitable for vacuum assisted filtration
A container and a container engaging member. The container engaging member may include a sample holder or reservoir, a filtration element and collar. In the assembled condition, the sample holder or reservoir is upstream of the filtration element, the container is downstream of the filtration element, and the sample holder or reservoir is attached to the container. The container engagement member is engageable and disengageable from the bottle or container in a quick attach, quick release manner, such as with only a 90 degree, ¼ turn. A tactile and/or audible indication that the engagement is complete is provided.
Thread support member for closures
A closure (100) comprising a top wall portion (102), a thread support member (108) extending from said top wall portion disposed with a thread (124), and at least one discrete recess (112) provided on said thread support member. The discrete recess may extend below a surface of and through said thread support member so as to form a fenestration, wherein said fenestration is configured for passage of flowable matter. The thread support member may be provided with a subregion limited by ends of said thread wherein said at least one discrete recess is provided at least partially within said subregion. The discrete recess may be formed as a three dimensional marking.
PILFERPROOF CAP ASSEMBLY FOR A CONTAINER
The present disclosure relates to a pilferproof cap assembly(100) for a container(10). The assembly(100) is configured to facilitate refilling and decanting of fluid in the container(10). The assembly(100) comprises a neck housing(12) and an adaptor(40). The neck housing(14) is configured to be fitted on an opening of the container(10). The neck housing(12) is provided with a linearly displaceable diaphragm(24) to define a fluid-orifice(50) for fluid flow, and an air-orifice(30) to facilitate air flow. The adaptor(40) is configured to be mounted on an operative top of the neck housing(12) and is further configured to actuate the fluid-orifice(50) and the air-orifice(30) in an operative configuration of the assembly(100). The assembly thus facilitates the refilling and decanting of fluid therefrom in a pilferproof manner.
SAFETY-CAP BOTTLE ASSEMBLY
A safety-cap container with a cap assembly that couples with a finish to close the opening into the interior space. The cap assembly includes an outer cap with an outer wall. A spring member extends from an inner face of the upper wall. An inner cap nests within the outer cap. The inner cap includes an outer cylindrical wall with an inner thread configured to engage with the thread of the finish. The inner cap is rotatable with respect to the outer cap and the spring member engages with an upper face of the transverse wall of the inner cap to bias the transverse wall of the inner cap away from the upper wall of the outer cap.
Closure assembly
A closure assembly with a spout having a body with a seal portion and a tubular neck, and, a rotational plastic cap having a top wall, a downward depending skirt and opposite wing parts, extending in a vertical plane from the skirt over a wing part length. The top portion of the wing parts has a top protrusion extending from the base portion. The top protrusion extends substantially in and/or opposed to the opening direction of the cap such that the top portion of the wing parts extends along the wing part length over/outside the base portion thereof in a direction corresponding or opposed to the opening direction, such that, for a cross-section in a vertical plane of the opening direction, the surface area of the at least one top protrusion contributes at least equally to the inertial moment as the surface area of the base portion.
CLOSURE
A closure is configured to mount on a container to close an open mouth formed in the container. The closure includes a lid and an outer layer coupled to the lid.
Child-resistant closure device for a container having a tapered neck portion
A child-resistant closure device for a rigid plastic container having a tapered neck section and method of manufacture. The device has a substantially circular neck and inner lid surface. The neck includes anchors which engage with nodes on the inner lid surface. The tapered section of the neck acts as a spring engaging the nodes with the anchors. The closure device may be engaged by rotating the lid in relation to the neck. To disengage the closure device a simultaneous downward and rotational force must be applied. The lid and the container, including the closure, can be blow molded at the same time or separately.
Ergonomic cap remover
The invention is an ergonomic cap remover having an open end and an annular sidewall. The annular sidewall comprising a plurality of teeth extending inward and a. The open end opening to a closed cavity surrounded by the annular sidewall and a top. The closed cavity adapted to receive a cap on a bottle. The plurality of teeth adapted to engage the cap. The ergonomic cap remover comprising a means for providing purchase. The means for providing purchase may comprise knurling or tabs on the outside of the annular sidewall.
Caps for containers
A cap (1) for a container or for a straw for a flexible pouch, in particular for containing liquid foods, such as fruit juice and other similar drinks, is provided with a guarantee seal (8) and an annular wall (10) having a lower free rim (10a) having a waved pattern so as to better observe the guarantee seal.
