20230312185 · 2023-10-05 ·

A closure for a container. The closure includes an outer shell having a proximal end, a distal end, an inner surface, and an outer surface. The closure also including an inner cap having a proximal end, a distal end, an inner surface, and an outer surface. A plurality of ribs extend from the inner cap to the outer shell. A tamper-evident band encircles the distal end of the inner cap. The tamper-evident band includes a plurality of tamper-evident segments. Each tamper-evident segment has a tab coupled with one of the plurality of ribs and a break segment. A first end of the break segment is coupled with the tab and a second end of the break segment is coupled with an adjacent one of the plurality of ribs.

CLOSURE CAP WITH WINGS

A closure cap made of a plastic. The closure cap includes a cylindrical shell which has a lateral outer surface and a vertical axis of rotation, and wings which are arranged to protrude from the lateral outer surface and which are fastened on diametrically opposite sides of the cylindrical shell. Each of the wings transitions from a wing fastening region, which is arranged close to the cylindrical shell, into an actuation region, which adjoins the wing fastening region and which is arranged radially further distant from the cylindrical shell. The actuation region serves for a manual actuation of the closure cap. The wing fastening regions are arranged, with respect to both sides of a central plane which runs through the cap axis of rotation, rotationally symmetrical with respect to the cap axis of rotation.

A package includes a container and a one-piece closure. The container has a neck portion defining an opening, an external helical thread formation and ratchet catch lugs. The closure fits to the neck portion of the container for closing the opening. The closure includes a first and a second closure portion. The closure includes a top wall portion and an annular skirt portion. The annular skirt portion includes an internal helical thread formation for mating engagement with the external helical thread formation. An interior surface of the annular skirt portion includes helical ratchet teeth threads. At least one of the ratchet catch lugs mechanically catches and locks with a respective one of the helical ratchet teeth threads so as to prevent or inhibit the closure from being removed from the container. The closure opens by flipping via a hinge.

A plurality of the connectable members may be connected in various combinations and/or geometries.

CLOSURE FOR FLUID-TIGHT SEALING OF A VESSEL FILLED WITH A SUB-STANCE, CONTAINER WITH A VESSEL AND A CLOSURE AS WELL AS METHOD FOR FILLING A CONTAINER WITH A SUBSTANCE
20220073251 · 2022-03-10 ·

The present invention relates in particular to a closure (3) for the fluid-tight closing of a vessel (2) filled with a substance (5), wherein the closure (3) is provided with a fluid-tight pressure-transmission element (9) and wherein the closure (3) is provided with a base body (8) to which the pressure-transmission element (9) can be attached in a fluid-tight manner, wherein the pressure-transmission element (9) is deflectable by pressurisation without incurring damage, for biological inactivation of microorganisms present in the substance (5), wherein the closure is configured in such a way that the pressure-transmission element (9), when the vessel (2) is closed with the closure (3), is held (clamped between the vessel (2) and the base body). The invention also relates to a corresponding container (1) and a corresponding method.

TAMPER EVIDENCE BRIDGES

An apparatus and a method are provided for a container cap comprising a plurality of tamper evidence bridges configured to provide evidence that the container cap has been removed from a container by other than a manufacturer of the container. The tamper evidence bridges comprise a small tab of material that extends from a bottom-most edge of the container cap to a neck ring of the container. The tamper evidence bridges are configured to break, or snap, when the container cap is rotated relative to the neck ring. Broken tamper evidence bridges provide readily visible evidence to an end-user of the container that the container cap has been removed by other than the manufacturer of the container. The high visibility of the tamper evidence bridges serves to discourage vendors from attempting to refill and resale of the used containers.

Safety cap spout
