A closure for a container. The closure includes an outer shell having a proximal end, a distal end, an inner surface, and an outer surface. The closure also including an inner cap having a proximal end, a distal end, an inner surface, and an outer surface. A plurality of ribs extend from the inner cap to the outer shell. A tamper-evident band encircles the distal end of the inner cap. The tamper-evident band includes a plurality of tamper-evident segments. Each tamper-evident segment has a tab coupled with one of the plurality of ribs and a break segment. A first end of the break segment is coupled with the tab and a second end of the break segment is coupled with an adjacent one of the plurality of ribs.

A closure cap made of a plastic. The closure cap includes a cylindrical shell which has a lateral outer surface and a vertical axis of rotation, and wings which are arranged to protrude from the lateral outer surface and which are fastened on diametrically opposite sides of the cylindrical shell. Each of the wings transitions from a wing fastening region, which is arranged close to the cylindrical shell, into an actuation region, which adjoins the wing fastening region and which is arranged radially further distant from the cylindrical shell. The closure fits to the neck portion of the container for closing the opening. The closure includes a first and a second closure portion. The closure includes a top wall portion and an annular skirt portion. The annular skirt portion includes an internal helical thread formation for mating engagement with the external helical thread formation. An interior surface of the annular skirt portion includes helical ratchet teeth threads. At least one of the ratchet catch lugs mechanically catches and locks with a respective one of the helical ratchet teeth threads so as to prevent or inhibit the closure from being removed from the container. The closure opens by flipping via a hinge.

A child-resistant bottle cap overshell and method for construction thereof is provided. A top cover has an oval shape. A body extends from an outer perimeter of the top cover and is sized to fit over a bottle cap on a bottle. At least two cutouts are formed in the top cover adjacent to the outer perimeter. A plurality of ridges are formed on an inner surface of the body on a bottom end opposite the top cover.

Disclosed is a multiple purpose connectable member. The connectable member may be used and operated to seal or close a container. The connectable member may further be operated to connect a plurality of the connectable members together. A plurality of the connectable members may be connected in various combinations and/or geometries.

An apparatus and a method are provided for a container cap comprising a plurality of tamper evidence bridges configured to provide evidence that the container cap has been removed from a container by other than a manufacturer of the container. The tamper evidence bridges comprise a small tab of material that extends from a bottom-most edge of the container cap to a neck ring of the container. The tamper evidence bridges are configured to break, or snap, when the container cap is rotated relative to the neck ring. Broken tamper evidence bridges provide readily visible evidence to an end-user of the container that the container cap has been removed by other than the manufacturer of the container. The high visibility of the tamper evidence bridges serves to discourage vendors from attempting to refill and resale of the used containers.

The present invention relates to a spout for a pouch-type container in which a cap is coupled to a body fused to a pouch-type container body in a one-touch manner, and more particularly, to a spout which is applied to a safety cap and allows to accurately cut the guarantee seal and expose a cut-off state to an outside of an outer cap upon opening of the safety cap so as to achieve accurate opening and easy recognition, in which a guarantee seal is coupled to a latching protrusion of the body such that the latching protrusion is positioned on the guarantee seal and selectively latched to a plurality of latching grooves formed in the guarantee seal.

A cap (1) for a container or for a straw for a flexible pouch, in particular for containing liquid foods, such as fruit juice and other similar drinks, is provided with a guarantee seal (8) and an annular wall (10) having a lower free rim (10a) having a waved pattern so as to better observe the guarantee seal.
