Tamper-resistant and tamper-evident containers
A transparent, plastic, one-piece, tamper-resistant/evident container includes a cover portion including an outwardly extending peripheral flange and a base portion having an upper peripheral rim. A tamper-evident hinge joins the cover portion with the base portion. The hinge includes a frangible section. When the container is closed, the outwardly extending peripheral flange of the cover portion abuts the upper peripheral rim of the base portion and the upper peripheral rim of the base portion extends beyond an outer edge of the outwardly extending peripheral flange of the cover portion and deters opening the container.
Container and related methods
A one-piece molded container comprising a lid and a container body is provided. The container body and lid are connected by a living hinge. The container body has interior protrusions extending from a bottom portion in an interior of the container body to limit nesting of the containers. The container body has a recess on a bottom portion on an exterior portion of the container and a dual-prong lid-locking mechanism, the lid-locking mechanism including a first prong, a second prong being a tamper-evident tearaway portion, and a protrusion extending downwardly from an interior portion of the lid.
Battery assembly and electronic cigarette having same
The present disclosure discloses a battery assembly and an electronic cigarette using the battery assembly, wherein the battery assembly comprises a main body and a cover, the main body is provided with a battery compartment with an opening, one end of the cover is rotatably mounted on the main body, and the other end is provided with a locking assembly, the end of the battery compartment close to the opening is provided with a limiting part, the cover is locked to the main body and covers the opening when rotating to the locking assembly to be fastened to the limiting part, the main body is further provided with at least one elastic assembly which elastically abuts against the cover when the cover covers the main body.
Injection-molded preform for the production of a plastics container in a blow-molding process, plastics container produced therefrom, and production method for the preform and/or the plastics container
An injection-molded preform is disclosed for production of a plastic container by a blow-molding method with an elongated, tube-like body, which is closed on its one longitudinal end and has a neck section that is provided with a pour opening on its other longitudinal end, which neck section includes an injection molded connection to an injection molded closure part, wherein the closure part includes: a flip-top closure and an annular section with an inner wall, which inner wall rests directly on an outer surface of the neck section and completely encloses an annular area of the outer surface of the neck section.
CONTAINER WITH PUSH-AND-SLIDE LOCKING MECHANISM
A container according to at least one example embodiment includes a base and a lid configured to be moved between a closed and locked configuration and an open configuration. The lid includes a top wall and a flexible tab projecting from the top wall. The flexible tab is configured to move from a relaxed position to a flexed position in response to a force in a direction and return to the relaxed position absent the force. In the closed and locked configuration, the flexible tab is in the relaxed position, at least partially in the receptacle, and configured to engage the base to retain the lid in the closed and locked configuration. The lid is configured to be moved from the closed and locked configuration to the open configuration by moving the lid in a second direction perpendicular to the direction with the flexible tab in the flexed position.
CONTAINER WITH FLEXIBLE WALL LOCKING MECHANISM
A container includes a base and a lid movable between a closed and locked configuration and an open configuration The base includes a peripheral wall movable from a relaxed position to a flexed position by applying a first force to a first portion in a first direction and a second force to a second portion in a second direction. The lid defines a plurality of receptacles. In the closed and locked configuration, the protrusions are at least partially in the receptacles, the peripheral wall is in the relaxed position, and the protrusions are configured to engage the lid to retain the lid in the closed and locked configuration. The container is configured to be moved from the closed and locked configuration to the open configuration by moving the lid in a third direction different from the first and second directions while the peripheral wall is in the flexed position.
PACKAGE WITH OPPOSING LOCKING MECHANISMS
The container includes a base and a lid pivotally coupled to the base. The base includes a bottom wall and a peripheral wall, where a plurality of receptacles are defined in the peripheral wall. The peripheral wall is configured to be moved from a relaxed position to a flexed position by applying a first force to a first portion of the peripheral wall in a first direction and a second force to a second portion of the peripheral wall in a second direction. The lid includes a top wall and a plurality of projections. In the relaxed position, the lid is configured to engage the receptacles so as to retain the lid in a closed configuration. The container is configured to be moved from the closed configuration to an open configuration by moving the lid in a third direction while the peripheral wall is in the flexed position.
PACKAGE WITH LOCKING MECHANISM
A package includes a base, a lid, and a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism includes an arm and a flexible member. The arm extends from the lid and has a first engaging structure. The member includes a flexible rib connected to a base floor, and a second engaging structure and a contact structure on a rib outer surface. The member flexes in response to a first force applied in a first direction to the contact structure and relaxes in response to absence of the first force. The member engages the first and second engaging structures based on the member being relaxed while the lid is closed. The member disengages the first and second engaging structures based on the member being flexed while the lid is closed. The lid may be opened based on applying a second force to the lid in a second direction while the member is flexed.
PACKAGE WITH OPPOSING LOCKING MECHANISMS
The package includes a base, a primary lid connected to the base via a first hinge, the primary lid and the base defining a primary storage area when the primary lid is in a closed position, a first locking mechanism and a second locking mechanism. The first and second locking mechanisms each including an arm with a first engaging structure, the arm being connected to the primary lid, and a flexible structure including a contact structure and at least one attachment member, the at least one attachment member attaching the contact structure to the base, the contact structure including a second engaging structure on a surface of the contact structure, the flexible structure being in a relaxed position when the primary lid is in the closed position, the first engaging structure being retained by the second engaging structure to lock the primary lid onto the base in the closed position.
PACKAGE WITH OPPOSING LOCKING MECHANISMS
The package includes a base, a primary lid connected to the base via a first hinge, the primary lid and the base defining a primary storage area when the primary lid is in a closed position, a first locking mechanism, and a second locking mechanism.
