System and method for distributing and dispensing liquids
The invention relates to a system for distributing and dispensing liquids, the system comprising a plurality of re-usable containers, each container comprising a removable closure arranged to engage with a neck of the container, the closure comprising a liquid flow passage extending through the closure; and a dip tube fluidly connected to or forming the liquid flow passage of the closure and extending into the container. The system further comprises a dispensing assembly comprising a dispensing pump, a dispensing tube fluidly connected to the dispensing pump, and a connector arranged to releasably engage with the closure so as to fluidly connect the dispensing tube to the liquid flow passage of the closure. The removable closure is a tamper-proof or tamper-evident closure, arranged to deter or prevent removal of the closure by an unauthorised person. A method for distributing and dispensing liquids using the inventive system is further provided. A further aspect relates to a hand-held displacement pump for use with the system and method of the present invention.
Liquid storage tank protection system and method
A liquid storage tank has a breathing valve that vents the tank's headspace at a high-pressure value and admits an ambient gas at a low-pressure value. A controller generates a first control signal when the percentage of the catalyst gas is less than a catalyst threshold, a second control signal when the percentage of the catalyst gas exceeds the catalyst threshold, and a third control signal when the pressure in the headspace is equal to a low-pressure threshold between the breathing valve's low-pressure value and high-pressure value. The first valve is only opened to output inert gas at a discharge pressure greater than the breathing valve's high-pressure value in response to the second control signal. The second valve is only opened to output inert gas at a discharge pressure that is between the breathing valve's low-pressure value and high-pressure value in response to the third control signal.
One time use bottle
A hydration system that utilizes a disposable drink container and a leak-resistant cap. The cap can be screwed into the disposable drink container before use. The disposable drink container has a safety foil region with a foil disk having one or more output holes, which is covered with a liner. The user should remove the liner to uncover the output holes and reattach the cap before drinking the liquid in the container. The cap can have a spout section with a leak-resistant section to draw out the liquid. The leak-resistant section can have a curved lip that creates a narrow liquid opening, such that liquid is held in place (does not spill) by surface tension when the system is accidentally inverted or overturned. The cap can also have a sealing ring to create a liquid-tight seal between the cap and the drink container.
Container and lid
An insulated container having a canister can be sealed by a lid structure. The lid structure can be a multi-part insulated lid. The lid can include a vent configured to vent air from inside the canister. In addition, the container may be part of a container kit or container system where one or more inner containers, are nested and secured within the insulated container.
Vacuum Sealable Container with Internal Pump Mechanism
A pump mechanism for vacuum sealing an airtight cavity formed by a container and a lid, including a bore having a first one-way seal allowing air from the airtight cavity to enter the bore and blocking air inside the bore from returning to the airtight cavity and a second one-way seal allowing air inside the bore to leave the bore without returning to the airtight cavity and blocking air outside of the bore from entering the bore, a piston disposed inside the bore, and a chamber of air enclosed by the bore, the first and second one-way seals, and the piston, wherein actuation of the piston in a first direction causes air to evacuate the airtight cavity and enter the chamber through the first one-way seal, and wherein actuation of the piston in a second direction causes air to exit the chamber through the second one-way seal.
CONTAINER COVER AND VACUUM PRESERVATION CONTAINER
Disclosed are a container cover and a vacuum preservation container. The container cover comprises a cover body and an air extraction assembly, wherein a first through hole is provided in the cover body, the air extraction assembly comprises an outer cover and an inner cover, the inner cover is arranged on an upper end of the first through hole in a sealing manner, a second through hole and a third through hole are provided in the inner cover, the second through hole is in communication with the first through hole, a first one-way valve is arranged in the second through hole, and a second one-way valve is arranged in the third through hole.
WINE BARREL TOPPING INTERFACE
My invention, in conjunction with COTS (commercial off the shelf) items, permits automatic topping of one or more wine barrels, thereby excluding air space in the barrel. A system that utilizes my invention assures that barrels connected to it will remain completely full for as long as is desired, with nearly zero maintenance and extremely low risk of contamination.
Flexible Membrane With Valve
The present disclosure pertains to a laminate membrane for sealing an inner compartment in a packaging container comprising a top member and a bottom member. The top and bottom members are laminated sheet materials. The top member has a thickness, a top member first surface and a top member second surface facing the bottom member. The bottom member has a bottom member first surface facing the top member second surface and a bottom member second surface. The laminate membrane is provided with a valve for allowing gas in the inner compartment of the packaging container to exit therefrom. The valve has a valve outer edge and is arranged on the bottom member first surface. The valve is arranged within an opening in the top member such that an opening edge encircles the valve. A surface area of the opening is greater than a surface area of the valve.
Dispensing closure for a fluid container
The present invention relates to a dispensing closure for a fluid container with a spout for dispensing a fluid, said dispensing closure comprising a peripheral wall, a transverse wall and a toggle member, wherein said peripheral wall and said transverse wall are made of an elastic material. The dispensing closure also comprises a valve element.
BEVERAGE CAP FOR COLLAPSIBLE BOTTLES
A bottle cap comprised of an upper cap body, a valve and a threaded insert wherein the threaded insert is configured to be secured to the opening of a bottle. Liquid is discharged through the cap during the collapse of the bottle. Bottle un-collapsing creates negative pressure, which closes the valve and creates a temporary air seal, preventing further air entry into the bottle. The valve further prevents loss of carbonation in the bottle.
