An infant formula container is provided with a particular lid having transparent, translucent and non-transparent/translucent parts. The container has a compartment intended to receive an object. The compartment has a bottom wall having a light reflective surface. The container of the invention provides for enhanced visibility through the lid such as to render the object in the compartment identifiable but not fully visible.

An assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes a container and a utensil. The container includes a bowl portion defined by a bottom wall and a side wall extending from the bottom wall. The side wall and the bottom wall are each defined by an inner surface that forms a cavity of the bowl portion. The utensil is disposed within the cavity and is removably-secured to the inner surface of the side wall that defines the bowl portion of the container. An assembly is also disclosed. A method is also disclosed.

A container for holding granular or powdered material. The container includes walls, a collar, a lid and a latch. The walls define an interior space and an upper portion, the upper portion defining a sealing flange and an opening to the interior space. The collar is attached to the upper portion. The lid is attached to the collar for positioning between an open position and a closed position, and adapted to cover the opening while in the closed position. The latch is attached to an outer surface of the lid. The latch may have an actuator rotatable in two directions relative to the lid and detachably engaged to a catch which protrudes from an outside surface of the collar.

A container is provided with a container body having an interior space and including an annular neck on a top, and a groove on an outer surface of the neck; and a base including a plurality of projections on a bottom edge, an internal space, an annular edge between a bottom of the internal space and an inner surface of the internal space, a seal on the bottom of the base and including a pull ring and a first release liner, and an aligning member on the bottom of the base. The closure (20, 120, 220, 320, 320A, 420) is for a container (22) that has an opening to the container interior wherein contents may be stored, and the closure (20, 120, 220, 320, 320A, 420) includes the following: a closure body (30, 130, 230, 430) that is for mounting on the container (22) and that defines an opening through tire closure body (30, 130, 230, 330, 430); a membrane (26, 126, 226, 326, 326A) attached to the closure body (30, 130, 230, 330, 430) and extending across at least a portion of the closure body opening to initially occlude at least a portion of said closure body opening; and a pull ring (36, 136, 236, 336) that is separate from the closure body (30, 130, 230, 330, 430) and that is attached to the membrane (26, 126, 226, 326, 326A) at the closure body opening whereby a user can pull the pull ring (36, 136, 236, 336) to tear at least a portion of the membrane (26, 126, 226, 326, 326A) away from the closure body (30, 130, 230, 330, 430) to provide either access or increased access through the closure body opening.

Container having a container body comprising a bottom, a rim and a lid securing portion located adjacent the rim. A lid includes a lid base sized and configured to secure the lid to the lid securing portion of the container body and a lid door assembly movably mounted to the lid base. The lid door assembly includes a main door that can assume at least a closed position with respect to the lid base and an open position with respect to the lid base, a first side door that can assume at least a closed position with respect to the main door and an open position with respect to the main door, and a second side door that can assume at least a closed position with respect to the main door and an open position with respect to the main door.

A closure for a container for storing granulated powder. The closure includes a collar and a lid, a locking portion on the collar, and a locking portion on the lid, the collar locking portion operable to releasably engage the lid locking portion when the lid is in a closed position on the collar. The closure further includes a latch element on the collar and a latch element on the lid, the collar last element operable to releasably engage the lid locking portion. Some embodiments are operable to provide two audible sounds verifying the lid has been properly closed. Some embodiments include a modified elongated scoop having a length equal to the diameter of the inner perimeter of the lid for improved user experience scooping product from the bottom of a container.

Blow-molded plastic container is provided having a main body portion (102), a finish portion (110) and a sealing lip (130). The main body portion includes a bottom region (104) defining a support reference plane and an upstanding sidewall (106) defining a body portion chamber (108) and a perimeter of the main body portion. The finish portion (110) is disposed proximate an upper region of the main body portion opposite the bottom region and defines a finish portion chamber (108) and an opening (116) in communication with body portion chamber. The finish portion is configured to engage a lid member (150,250). The sealing lip (130) is disposed between the main body portion and the finish portion. The sealing lip extends inwardly from the perimeter of the main body portion and is configured to receive a sealing member (140) to seal the opening between the body portion chamber and the finish portion chamber.

A system and method for co-packaging constructible utensil assemblies with a food container including a utensil layer and a protective laminate layer. The utensil is disposed in the assembly to be easily removed while concurrently being peeled from the protective laminate layer that helps to ensure the cleanliness and sanitary portions of portions of the utensil to contact the foodstuff.

A paperboard packaging container for bulk solids includes a container body having a container wall extending from a container bottom edge to a container body opening and having an inner surface facing an inner compartment in the packaging container, and a lid for closing the container body opening. An upper reinforcing rim is applied at the container body opening and extends along the opening edge, defining a perimeter of a container access opening and is joined to the inner surface of the container wall by means of a weld seal which extends around the container body opening and has an upper edge including a first abutment surface arranged to abut against a second abutment surface on an inner lid surface with the lid in a closed position on the container access opening and form a tight seal between the rim and the lid with the lid in the closed position.
