A packaging container for scoopable bulk solids comprising a container body includes a container wall extending from a container bottom edge to a container body opening in a height direction of the container, and a closure arrangement including a lid. The container wall has an inner surface facing towards an inner compartment in the packaging container and an outer surface facing away from the inner compartment. The container body has an opening edge at the container body opening. A combined scraper bar and scoop holder is arranged at the container body opening and extends across a bent portion of the container wall between a first container wall portion and a second container wall portion, the combined scraper bar and scoop holder including a scraping edge and a first scoop fastening element for repeated fastening and releasing of a scoop.

A system and method for a constructible scoop that overcomes the disadvantages of conventional preformed scoops that are shipped in association with a scoopable product. A constructible scoop may be protected and provided outside of the product-containing-volume where it is easily located and sealed to be sanitary prior to first use.

A container for storing dispensable contents includes a tub. The tub includes a body having one or more walls extending from a base, an opening, a neck formed around the opening and extending out from the body to form a lip, and a shelf disposed on an inner perimeter of the neck and below the lip. The container also includes a removable insert disposed below the lip and above the contents. The removable insert includes a scoop implement for dispensing the contents, and an outer frame removably coupled to the scoop implement, the outer frame configured to rest on the shelf and support the scoop implement above the contents. The container also includes a closure configured to removably cover the opening.

The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing and filling a package with a powdered nutritional product, such as infant nutrition or milk formula, the method comprising providing a thermoformed tub having sidewalls and a base defining a product receiving space, filling the product receiving space with the powdered nutritional product, and sealing a membrane across an open mouth of the tub to seal the product therein; and folding a carton blank with a plurality of panels around the filled tub to form a carton sleeve, wherein the carton sleeve comprises a peripheral wall enclosing at least the sidewalls of the tub.

The invention also relates to a package for such a powdered nutritional product manufactured according to this method.

A lid is disclosed for a container having a peripheral wall extending to an upper edge and defining a product containing space. The lid structure comprises a lower frame, an upper frame and a lid. The lower frame connects to the upper edge of the tub and defines an access opening giving access to the product containing space. The upper frame is connectable to the lower frame in a snap-fit connection and forms a circumferential first seal therewith. The lid is arranged to close the opening, the lid and the upper frame forming a circumferential second seal. In this manner, an improved sealing connection can be achieved and the upper frame can be manufactured separately from the lower frame and joined thereto at a later stage of the production process.

A bowl for storing and serving food products is provided. The bowl includes a bottom panel connected to at least one side panel. The at least one side panel and the bottom panel form a bowl compartment operable to hold soup or other food items. An active agent (12) capable of preventing, or at least slowing, exposure of the sensitive product to the environmental trigger is positioned in or under the lid. A utensil (40) configured to shield the active agent can be removably attached to an underside of the lid and positioned to cover the active agent when the utensil is attached to the lid. Upon removal of the utensil, the active agent is unshielded and, upon exposure to the environment, is activated to absorb or consume at least some of the environmental triggers within the container.

A sealed disposable container (11) for preparing and retaining a food product (17) has an entry wall (13), a bottom wall (14) opposite to the entry wall (13), and a lateral wall (15), which define an internal volume (16) pre-packaged in which is a predetermined amount of at least one first food substance (17) or of a precursor thereof. The entry wall (13) has at least one axially hollow coupling or positioning element (18), which defines at least part of an inlet (18, 26) of the disposable container (11). The disposable container (11) comprises an axially extending injector element (20), which is couplable with the at least one coupling or positioning element (18) or is integrally formed or fixed therewith, in such a way that at least a first distal portion (DP) of the injector element (20) extends within the internal volume (16). The at least one coupling or positioning element (18) is configured for coupling, in particular sealed coupling, with a dispensing element (51) of a preparation machine (1), for introducing into the internal volume (16) a flow of pressurized hot water and/or steam required for preparing the food product.
