DRINKS POUCH
A fully sealed pouch containing a drink is provided with a straw within the pouch accessible to allow a user to draw drink from the pouch. The pouch defines a top portion, a bottom portion, and respective side edges interconnecting the top portion and the bottom portion. A corner portion is defined between the top portion and one side edge, the corner portion being openable by a user to access the straw. The pouch forms a closed cavity containing the drink, the cavity being defined by the top portion, the bottom portion, and side edges and by at least one wall defining a front face and a rear face for the cavity. The front and rear faces are connected together in the top portion. The front and rear faces are continuous with each other at, or are connected along, the other of the side edges. The front and rear faces are connected, optionally via a gusset, to provide the bottom portion. The one side edge is formed by a first heat seal connecting the front and rear faces; and a second heat seal connects the front and rear faces and extends in an incomplete fashion from the top portion to the bottom portion, being spaced inboard of the first heat seal. The second heat seal divides the interior of the cavity into major and minor portions interconnected so that drink may flow between them, the minor portion lying between the first and second heat seals, and the straw being located within this minor portion. A number of different ways are described in which the corner portion may be opened along a line of weakness formed in the pouch and extending generally parallel to the top edge or the bottom portion from the first heat seal to and ending at the second heat seal.
Apparatus, arrangement and method for providing skin care ingredients
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, a cosmetic arrangement can be provided, which can include a first structure that can enclose a cosmetic active ingredient(s), a second structure that can enclose a solvent solution, a third structure(s) that can separate the solvent solution from the cosmetic active ingredient(s), a medium that can be configured to absorb a mixture of the cosmetic active ingredient(s) and solvent solution, and an indicator structure that can be configured to indicate whether the cosmetic active ingredient(s) and the solvent solution have come in contact with one another. Upon an application of a particular amount of pressure on a portion(s) of the arrangement, the cosmetic active ingredient(s) and the solvent solution can be caused to come into direct contact with one another.
Water jug safety seal
The bottle safety seal may comprise a safety seal that covers the top of a bottle. The safety seal may prevent contaminants from collecting on exposed non-vertical surfaces of the bottle. As non-limiting examples, the contaminants may be from storing the bottle in a warehouse or other storage area where the bottle may be exposed to dust, dirt, spilled liquids, and other substances. The safety seal may be separable from the bottle such that the safety seal may be removed from the bottle prior to pouring or drinking from the bottle. As non-limiting examples, the bottle may be a water bottle, a wine bottle, a soda bottle, or a juice bottle. The bottle safety seal may be particularly suitable for use on 5 gallon water cooler bottles which may present larger exposed surface areas and may spend longer periods of time in storage before being used.
WRAPPER FOR ABSORBENT ARTICLE
The disclosure pertains to a wrapper (22) for an absorbent article (10) comprising a layer of cellulosic fibers (33), a layer of peeling agent (32) arranged onto the layer of cellulosic fibers (33). According to the disclosure, the layer of cellulosic fibers (33) comprises a basis weight comprised between 10 gsm and 40 gsm. The disclosure also relates to an assembly comprising an absorbent article (10) and such wrapper (22) and a process to manufacture such assembly (10).
Package having peel reseal feature
A package is described. The package comprises a first wall, a second wall, and a first seal. The first wall comprises an exterior layer, an interior layer, and a peelable adhesive layer positioned between the exterior layer and the interior layer. The interior layer comprises a first Sine of weakness and a second Sine of weakness, and the peelable adhesive layer comprises a peelable adhesive region and a first void. The first void is aligned with the first Sine of weakness. The first seal is positioned between the first line of weakness and the second line of weakness, and a first end portion of the first seal is aligned with the first void. Various embodiments of the package are also described.
Resealable flexible packaging
The present invention relates to a flexible packaging comprising a base layer and a film layer at least partially releasably affixed to the base layer via a pressure sensitive adhesive layer. The pressure sensitive adhesive layer comprises at least one adhesive zone and at least one adhesive-free zone extending continuously in a machine direction. The film layer is scored to form at least one pull tab which is disposed within the at least one adhesive-free zone and the base layer is scored to form at least one cavity which is disposed adjacent the at least one adhesive-free zone.
Child resistant peelable packaging
The invention includes a child resistant package having a first panel and at least two second panels joined to the first panel. The first and second panels are in different planes, in an embodiment. The package includes a peelable flap portion covering an access point into the package, wherein the peelable flap portion has at least one tab continuous therewith. The at least one tab is disposed on one of the second panels and the access point is disposed in the first panel. In an embodiment, at least one decoy tab is also disposed on one of the second panels.
FORMULATION AND PACKAGING OF COMPOSITIONS
The present disclosure features a composition (e.g., adhesive composition), as well as devices and related means for packaging and delivery of the same. The devices and related methods may be used for activating and mixing the components of composition (e.g., adhesive composition), for example, within a packaged device without compromising sterility.
Sample container with peelable seal and access port
An apparatus includes a flexible container, a port, and a support structure. The container includes a first layer coupled to a second layer to define a storage volume within which a tissue specimen can be contained. The first layer is characterized by a first stiffness and the second layer characterized by a second stiffness. An edge of the first layer is spaced apart from an edge of the second layer to define an opening into the storage volume. The edge of the first layer and the edge of the second layer are configured to form a peelable seal that hermetically seals the storage volume such that the first layer can be peeled away from the second layer to expose the storage volume. The port is coupled to the flexible container and allows fluid communication between the storage volume and an external volume. The support structure is configured to support the tissue specimen within the storage volume and is characterized by a third stiffness. The third stiffness is greater than the first stiffness and the second stiffness.
