MICRONEEDLE-SHEET PACKAGING BODY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A microneedle-sheet packaging body includes a microneedle sheet, a forming sheet, and a support body. The microneedle sheet includes a substrate, and a plurality of microneedles formed on a lower surface of the substrate. The forming sheet is tightly adhered to the lower surface of the substrate. The forming sheet includes a plurality of micro-recess parts in which the plurality of microneedles are housed. The support body is fixed to an upper surface of the substrate of the microneedle sheet and is further fixed to the forming sheet around the substrate. Thus, the microneedle-sheet packaging body protects a plurality of microneedles on the microneedle sheet.
FLEXIBLE PACKAGE WITH EMBOSSED LIQUID CONTAINMENT CELLS
The present invention is directed to packages having a flexible top sheet sealed to a flexible embossed bottom sheet The flexible bottom sheet comprises a plurality of embossed peaks and valleys wherein each valley has a defined perimeter with a valley base integrally connected to a valley wall which thereby defines an individual liquid containment cell. The packages according to the present invention are heat resistant to allow food packaged therein to be cooked in a microwave oven such that a substantial amount of water and/or grease released by the food during the cooking process is captured beneath a food contact surface in a plurality of embossed individual liquid containment cells, in preferred embodiments, the package of the present invention is a microwavable form-fill-seal package or microwavable vacuum package for storing and cooking a precooked or cured food product with substantial water and/or fat content.
JUICING SYSTEM WITH VARIABLE PRESSING PARAMETERS
Embodiments related to juicing systems including juicers for extracting juice from food matter contained within juicer cartridges are described.
EASY-OPEN FLOW-WRAP PACKAGE
The present invention is directed to a peel-open, non-reclosable package formed from a single thermoplastic laminate comprising a first film laminated to a second film by a lamination film or lamination layer. The package includes a peelable heat-seal seam adhering an interior surface of a first sealing section of the interior package surface to an interior surface of a second sealing section of the interior package surface. The package also includes an asymmetric cross-sectional seal interface formed at the peelable heat-seal seam by disjoining a segment of the first film from the first sealing section prior to heat sealing the first and second sealing sections together.
Tabbed Film With Transverse Easy Open Feature
A packaging film including an upper tab layer intermittently bonded to layers below it along a machine or longitudinal direction and suitable for forming a transverse easy opening feature in a formed package.
MULTI-LAYER COVERS WITH DETACHABLE SEGMENT AND METHOD OF THEIR PRODUCTION
The invention refers to closures or covers 20 of containers for facial tissues, wipes and in particular wet wipes, diapers and in general items that require to remain within a container 50, with no direct contact with the environment. The cover 20 includes an inner layer 22 and an outer layer 24, both having an inner face and an outer face, whereby the inner faces of the both layers 22, 24 comprise means to adhere to each other. The outer face of the inner layer 22 is at least partially coated with reclosable adhesive to adhere, to a container 50. The inner layer 22 has a detachable segment 35b, which adheres to the outer layer 24 and which has an outer face that is part of the outer face of the inner layer 22 and that it is at least partially covered with reclosable adhesive. The inner layer 22 and/or the outer layer 24 comprises means 34, 36 to allow separation and subsequent withdrawal of the detachable segment 35b from the cover 20. Further, the invention suggests a method for producing a roll with covers 20.
BACK-OFF PREVENTING RESEALABLE ADHESIVES
Adhesive compositions that replace gaskets and liners in sealing applications for packages that are detachable with hand force are described. The adhesive compositions are particularly useful in preventing leaks and spillage during storage and transport of its packaged contents.

Container for smoking articles
A container for smoking articles has an outer housing including a hinged lid rotatable between open and closed positions. An inner package has an access opening through which smoking articles can be removed. The access opening can be covered by a reclosable flap when the hinged lid is in the closed position. With the lid in the closed position, the reclosable flap forms an overlap region with a surface of the inner package that extends around the periphery of the access opening. The overlap region includes a first adhering region to releasably affix the surface of the inner package and the reclosable flap, and a first non-adhering region. The first non-adhering region includes a portion of the periphery of the access opening.
Flexible packaging structure with a built-in opening and reclose feature
A flexible packaging laminate is formed to have a built-in opening and reclose feature by forming the laminate as a two-part structure having an outer structure joined in face-to-face relation with an inner structure. Score lines are formed in both structures to enable an opening to be formed through the laminate by lifting an opening portion (e.g., a flap or the like) of the two structures out of the plane of the laminate. The score line through the outer structure defines a larger opening than the score line through the inner structure, such that a marginal region of the outer structure extends beyond the edge of the opening portion of the inner structure. A pressure-sensitive adhesive is used to re-adhere the marginal region to an underlying surface of the inner structure adjacent the opening through the laminate.
