BAG-IN-BOX PACKAGING
A bag-in-box packaging is proposed, preferably for the packaging of milk powders, comprising or consisting of: a closable container, a closure cap for the container and a fillable tubular bag, wherein the tubular bag is connected flat to the inside of the container and the bottom of the container is concave on the inside.
Non-uniformly perforated plastic bag
Provided is a perforated plastic bag wherein the volume of said bag is 100 liters or more; wherein the average perforation diameter is 500 micrometers or less; wherein said plastic bag comprises a lower zone and a top zone, wherein the perforation density of said lower zone is greater than the perforation density of said top zone. Also provided is a method of using such a plastic bag.
Beverage container
A beverage container having an outer shell and an inner flexible bladder or bag having a spout for receiving a liquid therein. The container is erectable and is formed from a unitary blank of material, such as corrugated paperboard. The container includes a plurality of walls that extend from a base, and a top having first and second inclined portions that meet at an apex. The spout is oriented vertically upwardly and may be disposed in an inclined wall portion to provide various advantages, including allowing a user to fill and transport the beverage container in the same orientation. The inclined wall portion also improves pouring characteristics and visibility of the spout.
Support for biocontainer bag
Supports for biocontainer bags and systems, and methods of using the supports and systems, are disclosed.
Retail ready opening feature for e-commerce carton
A modified Regular Slotted Container (RSC) style carton is configured to be easily shipped in electronic commerce while allowing a consumer to use the carton as a storage container for bagged pet food. The packaging carton is a modified regular slotted container (RSC) featuring a full or partial die cut perforation design forming a lid that facilitates converting the carton into a re-usable storage carton for a bag of pet food. The perforation design allows for the consumer to separate portions of the lid from the carton along the perforations. Once the carton is opened, the die cut or partial die cut flap created along the perforations is preferably used as a lid for the pet food. The carton provides many advantages, such as establishing protective packaging, accommodating dedicated e-commerce identifiers, and providing additional ways to use and store a bagged pet food product without having to purchase alternative containers.
Liquid dispensing containers and blanks for making the same
A container for dispensing beverages is provided. The container includes at least six side walls coupled together along a plurality of parallel fold lines. The at least six side walls include two end panels and at least two side panels, and the at least six side walls define a substantially cylindrical shape of the container. A bottom wall is coupled to at least one of the two end panels, wherein a shape of the bottom wall corresponding to a cross-sectional shape of the at least six side walls. The container further includes a spout cutout removably defined in a first end panel of the two end panels proximate to a fold line connecting the first end panel to the bottom wall.
Carton with handle features
A carton for containing at least one article is described herein. The carton includes a plurality of side panels that extend at least partially around an interior of the carton, a handle for grasping and carrying the carton formed in at least two side panels of the plurality of side panels, and a protective feature for providing access to grasp the handle. The protective feature includes at least one protective panel arranged in the interior of the carton relative to the handle and the at least two side panels.
RESIN COMPOSITION, MULTI-LAYER STRUCTURE, AND BAG-IN-BOX INNER CONTAINER
A resin composition is provided that contains: an EVOH (A); an unmodified ethylene--olefin copolymer (B); an acid modified ethylene--olefin copolymer (C); and alkali metal salt (D), wherein a mass ratio [(A)/((B)+(C))] is from 80/20 to 65/35, a mass ratio [(B)/(C)] is from 92/8 to 70/30, (A) has an MFR of not less than 8.0 g/10 min. and not more than 15 g/10 min., a content of (D) is not less than 25 ppm and not more than 300 ppm in terms of metal, and the resin composition has an MFR of not less than 2.0 g/10 min. and not more than 4.0 g/10 min. The use of this resin composition enables production of a multilayer structure and an inner container for a bag-in-box having excellent oxygen barrier properties and high flexibility and bending resistance.
Bag and box apparatus with faraday bag and self-closing RF-tight device passage for recovering, temporarily storing, and then returning freight-tracking transmitters
A soft- or hard-sided apparatus for temporarily storing a plurality of electronic devices that transmit electromagnetic signals that would, if not suppressed, interfere with other electronic devices or make the devices accessible to outsiders. The apparatus includes a container, such as a soft-sided bag, that is sized for holding the plurality of electronic devices and is specially adapted to be normally RF-tight to suppress the electromagnetic signals transmitted by the plurality of electronic devices to prevent them from interfering with other electronic devices. The container further includes a small opening assembly in the container that opens and closes, such as a trap door, outfitted with magnets. The first small opening assembly is adapted to be RF-tight when closed so that a user can push an electronic device through the assembly, into the container, after which all the electronic devices are silenced inside of the container. The container further includes a second larger opening assembly to allow removal of all of the electronic devices as a group. The soft-sided container can be located in a cardboard shipping box, ready to be emptied nearby or returned to a third-party when full so that the devices can be refurbished and re-used.
Flexible bag material
A flexible bag material made of plastic material for the packaging of dry food products such as cereals wherein the plastic material is a multilayer film. The multilayer film comprises at least one high moisture barrier layer made of HDPE, a moderate oxygen barrier layer made of a blend of amorphous polyethylene terephthalate (PETG) and PE having a oxygen permeability of 400 cm.sup.3/m.sup.2/day or higher when measured at 23 C. and 0% relative humidity, and a peelable sealing layer. The flexible bag material is especially suitable for manufacturing an inner bag of a bag-in-box package having an outer rigid box made of cardboard, in particular recycled cardboard.
