CONTAINER
A container (100) having: a housing member (10) having a bottom surface member (12) and a side surface member (14); and a protective member (220a) having a receiving surface in contact with an item to be housed. The bottom surface member defines the xy plane and the side surface member defines the xz plane and the yz plane that are orthogonal to the xy plane. The side surface member has a cut-out section (15a) that faces a housing space. The protective member (220a) has an inside member (122a) comprising a receiving section having first receiving surface (123) parallel to the yz plane and a second receiving surface (124) parallel to the xz plane; and an outside member (232a) arranged at least between the inside member and a side surface parallel to the yz plane of the side surface member, said outside member being fitted to the inside member (122a) so as to be slidable in a direction intersecting the floor surface. The inside member (122a) and the outside member (232a) are arranged in the cut-out section so as to each be independently attachable and detachable. A section including the first receiving surface (123) is more flexible than a section including the second receiving surface (124).
Protectively framed and covered thermal insulation panel
A protectively enclosed panel of frangible thermal insulation having a panel of frangible thermal insulation with C-channel binding bars fitted over each edge of the panel and wear protective cover sheets covering the first and second major surface of the panel with the peripheral margin of the cover sheets adhered to the C-channel binding bars.
TRAY FOR CARRYING DISPLAY PANEL
A tray for carrying a display panel is disclosed, and the tray includes a base configured to support the display panel, supporting members on the base and each having an inner surface corresponding to two adjacent sides of each of corner portions of the display panel, and buffering members coupled to the inner surface of each of the supporting members and configured to contact the two adjacent sides of the display panel, wherein the buffering members are spaced apart from the inner surface of each of the supporting members by a set distance.
System for protecting equipment surfaces
A system for protecting an equipment surface during manufacture, fabrication, transport, storage, and installation of equipment. The system comprises a surface cover to mechanically protect machined surfaces, as well as hermetically sealing any covered openings. An impact absorbing cover with a deforming layer can be attached with a fastener to provide further impact protection for the equipment surface. A coating comprising a solvent, a corrosion inhibitor, and, optionally, a lubricant can be used to protect the equipment surface. The system has the benefit of being lightweight to allow for easy handling and shipping, is safer to use than other methods known in the art and has the coincident benefit of protecting larger systems that equipment is a component of from both corrosion and contaminants.
Packaging and Shipping Blocks for Flat-panel Products
Described herein are shipping blocks for packaging and shipping flat-panel products. The blocks have chamfered edges to allow the block to slide across uneven surfaces; slots and/or alignment tabs to secure the product to the block; and, walls that are configured to flex when pressure/stress is applied to the block.
TRANSPORT CONTAINER
Container adapted for cargo or personnel transport, the container being substantially prismatic, cylindrical or cubic in shape, wherein the container comprises: an internal surface and an external surface, a rigid frame, which defines a plurality of container faces, wherein the confluence of two or more of said container faces define edge portions being substantially chamfered, and one or more shock absorbing corner protectors adapted for being mounted on the edge portions, characterized in that the edge portions of the rigid frame comprise one or more beams arranged substantially in parallel to the direction of the confluence of two container faces, and the inner face of the corner protectors comprise at least a flange adapted for fitting in the one or more beams of the edge portions, such that the corner protectors substantially protrude from the external surface.
RELEASABLE PAPERBOARD CHOCK ASSEMBLY
A releasable paperboard chock assembly is provided comprising first and second paperboard chocks, each comprising a base, a back wall, and first and second side walls adjacent to the base. Each of the first and second side walls comprises an upper edge surface having a generally curved portion to conform to a curved surface of a roll to be secured. A paperboard sling extends between the first and second chocks comprising first and second ends joined to the first and second chocks, respectively.
Foldable composite material sheet and structure
A composite material and structure. The structure has a folded sheet having a rigid inner layer sandwiched between flexible outer layers. The sheet has an undulated shape with alternating summit and valley portions. Intermediate portions each extend between adjacent summit and valley portions. At least one score line extends through at least one of the flexible outer layers. The sheet is folded about the at least one score line. A method of forming a structure from a sheet having an undulated shape.
Corner protector
The corner protector has a flexible sheet having an undulated shape with summit portions, valley portions, and intermediate portions each extending between corresponding summit and valley portions. The sheet is foldable along a length of at least one of the summit portions to form a folded shape for the sheet corresponding to a shape of the corner. The valley portions of the sheet in the folded shape are abuttable against side walls of the object intersecting at the corner. An apex section of the summit portion in the folded shape is spaced from the corner of the object upon the valley portions abutting the side walls.
PACKAGING DEVICE
A packaging device packages a display device. The packaging device includes frames sequentially connected end to end and arranged into a ring, the frames are made of a material having supporting strength, the frames are respectively provided with accommodation recesses therein, the packaging device further comprises an elastic cushion attached to an inner wall of the accommodation recess, and edges of the display device respectively fasten the accommodation recesses and touch the cushion. The packaging device reduces the packaging volume of the display device and prevents the packaged display device from being deformed or breaking into fragments.
