SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STORING LIVE SEAFOOD
A system for storing live seafood, includes: compartments into which the seafood is introduced, a hydraulic circuit to cause water to circulate, an installation for treating the water, characterized in that: the compartments form part of at least one module taking the form of a unit which unit is made of a lightweight material, the water flow generated by the hydraulic circuit enters the compartments via the upstream end and reemerges via the downstream end thereof, the water circulating through the compartments is kept at a temperature of below 25° C.
Aquarium filter
An aquarium filter consists of a housing with three filter elements including a coarse filter, a fine filter and a porous substrate. A pump provides for the flow of water through the filter, so that only part of the flow passes through the porous substrate.
Modular habitat system and method
Modular habitat structure (MHS) which can accommodate one or more live inhabitants is comprised of a rigid pillar which extends linearly away from a base end toward an upper end. A plurality of major system components are disposed at different locations along a length of the rigid pillar. Each of the major system components is comprised of modular segments which individually extend circumferentially around at least a portion of the rigid pillar. The modular configuration of the segments allows user configuration of the MHS by selectively adding or removing one or more segments of each of the major system components.
Aquaponic system
An aquaponic system, having at least one farming section; each farming section has an aquaculture unit, a vegetable farming unit and a water circulation unit; the aquaculture unit has an outer tank and an aquaculture tank inside the outer tank; the vegetable farming unit has a vegetable farming column and a water collection tank at a bottom part thereof; the water circulation unit has a filter tank, a water pump, and at least one guiding pipe extending from the aquaculture tank to the vegetable farming column; a water inlet of the filter tank is connected with a water outlet of the aquaculture tank; a water outlet of the filter tank is connected with a water inlet of the aquaculture tank; one end of the water pump is connected with the water collection tank, another end of the water pump is connected with the aquaculture tank.
Fluid pump assembly
A fluid pump assembly is provided. The pump has a pair of units magnetically coupled to each other. The first unit contains a drive motor and a magnetic assembly. The second unit contains a magnetic assembly and a blade of a propeller/impeller for imparting movement to a fluid. As the first unit is activated by the drive motor, a magnetic flux is created which in turn rotates the magnetic assembly in the second unit, driving the blade.
Multifunctional submersible pump
The present invention provides a multifunctional submersible pump, which provides multiple functional selections suitable for various types of aquariums, including water circulation and filtering, pumping out wastewater, oxygenation, and carbon dioxide refining. The bottom portion of the submersible pump is provided with a water inlet, a water outlet, a wastewater drain outlet, and an adjustment knob. Left and right rotation of the adjustment knob enables water circulation and filtering or pumping out wastewater, as well as enabling adjusting the amount of water flow. One side of the top portion of the submersible pump is fitted with a retainer ring, which enables disposing an aquarium lamp therein. Another function of the present invention lies in the design of the simple assembly method of the CO.sub.2 refiner, whereby the refiner can be easily disassembled for cleaning when a ceramic refining disk placed inside the refiner is obstructed by pollutants.
Indoor aquaponics assembly
The present invention relates to an indoor aquaponics assembly which includes a base, an aquarium positioned above and supported by the base, a planter positioned above the aquarium, an aquarium conduit and a planter conduit. The planter is provided with at least two through holes facing towards the aquarium, one being adapted for a water drainage tube to pass through for draining water from the planter to the aquarium, and one being adapted for a tube of a pump to pass through for pumping water from the aquarium to the planter. The present invention aims at reducing the time and efforts required for caring and maintaining the aquarium and the plants.
FISH BREEDING DEVICES WITH MAGNETIZER AND METHODS FOR ACCELERATING NORMAL FISH REPRODUCTION AND GROWTH RATES
The disclosure relates to the technical field of aquaculture, and more particularly to a fish breeding device provided with a magnetizer and a method for accelerating normal propagation and growth speeds of fishes. The fish breeding device includes a box body, a controllable partition plate, an extraction pump, and the magnetizer; the controllable partition plate is arranged in the box body and used for dividing the inner space of the box body into a feeding area and a non-feeding area; the extraction pump is arranged on the controllable partition plate and used for exchanging the water body in the feeding area with the water body in the non-feeding area; the magnetizer is arranged on the outer wall of the box body corresponding to the feeding area, and used for magnetizing the water body of the feeding area. In the disclosure, fish eggs are further hatched by the magnetized water. An adjustable magnetic field is utilized to act on fishes in development so that the fishes normally propagate and grow without causing the problems of retarded embryo development, stagnation, deformity, and the like. Meanwhile, pollutants generated in a feeding process can be purified, the utilization rate of feed put in a breeding process is increased, intermittent magnetization is adopted, and the consumption of electric energy is reduced.
Recirculating Culture System, Use of a Recirculating Culture System and Method for Operating a Recirculating Culture System
The invention relates to a recirculating culture system for cultivating and/or breeding aquatic creatures, comprising: a recirculating system for circulating and controlling the temperature of a fluid, wherein the recirculating system has a culture pool (1) for receiving the fluid, a water reservoir (2) for storing the fluid, a temperature-control device (3) designed to supply thermal energy to and/or remove thermal energy from the fluid, a pump system (4) for circulating the fluid, and a filter system (5) for filtering the fluid; as well as a container (6) having at least one internal space (61), wherein the recirculating system is arranged in the at least one internal space (61) of the container (6).
Spray bar axially rotatable along two axes to align with fish tank wall
Fish tank spray devices of embodiments of the disclosed technology include a length of horizontal pipe with multiple portals arranged in a row which extend into the length of horizontal pipe. Water is sprayed from these portals in embodiments of the disclosed technology. The other side of the pipe is connected to various lengths of pipe which bring the water to the spray bar including a 270 degree bent length of a pipe followed by a 180 degree bent length of pipe having an interior in fluid and direct connection with the length of horizontal pipe. These turns can be adjusted in a transverse direction by rotating connection points within the pipes in two different planes which are perpendicular to each other allowing the spray bar to be oriented parallel and abutting against a length of an inside of the fish tank wall.
