Embodiments herein relate to chemically impregnated applicators which may be used to provide hydrophobic surfaces on CMP system components and related application methods. In one embodiment, a method of forming a hydrophobic coating on a surface of a polishing system component includes cleaning the surface of the polishing system component to remove a polishing fluid residue therefrom and applying a hydrophobicity causing chemical solution to the surface of the polishing system component.

A wipe pouch has a first compartment containing a first chemical, a second compartment containing a second chemical, and a third compartment containing a dry wipe. A first coupling assembly (a first frangible seal) couples the first compartment to the second compartment and has a closed configuration in which the first compartment does not communicate with the second compartment, and an opened configuration in which the first compartment communicates with the second compartment. A second coupling assembly (a second frangible seal) couples the second compartment to the third compartment and has a closed configuration in which the second compartment does not communicate with the third compartment, and an opened configuration in which the second compartment communicates with the third compartment. When ready for use, the first frangible seal is broken to mix bleach in the first compartment with WFI in the second compartment. The user then breaks the second frangible seal to saturate the wipe in the third compartment with the bleach/WFI mixture from the first and second compartments.

A package comprising a container for holding a first substance, and a product insert for holding a second substance, at least partially inserted info said container, and where the first product and the second product can be allowed to merge by external manipulation of said package. Packaged products and methods are also provided.

According to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, a cosmetic arrangement can be provided, which can include a first structure that can enclose a cosmetic active ingredient(s), a second structure that can enclose a solvent solution, a third structure(s) that can separate the solvent solution from the cosmetic active ingredient(s), a medium that can be configured to absorb a mixture of the cosmetic active ingredient(s) and solvent solution, and an indicator structure that can be configured to indicate whether the cosmetic active ingredient(s) and the solvent solution have come in contact with one another. Upon an application of a particular amount of pressure on a portion(s) of the arrangement, the cosmetic active ingredient(s) and the solvent solution can be caused to come into direct contact with one another.

A chemical solution supply apparatus (1) includes a container (10) and a chemical solution supply implement (20) that can, in a state of being connected to a mouth portion (14), switch over a state where the container (10) is sealed and a state where a chemical solution in a storage portion (12) is allowed to be supplied to the outside of the container (10). The chemical solution supply implement (20) has a base (30) and a supply body (50). The base (30) has a retaining portion (40), a pressing portion (42), and a restricting portion (34) that restricts displacement of the supply body (50) with coming into contact with the supply body (50) when the supply body (50) is pressed against pressing force of the pressing portion (42). The supply body (50) moves away from the retaining portion (40), thereby forming a supply flow passage, and comes into contact with the retaining portion (40), thereby blocking the supply flow passage.

A repair kit for use in repairing damaged portions of a surface or adhering objects and methods of using the repair kit are described herein. The repair kit comprises a housing having a first end and as second end, packaging in the form of a sealed container enclosing a resin component and a reactive component that react to form a polymeric composite material when mixed, a dispensing cap configured to engage with the first end of the housing and a pusher configured to engage with a second end of the housing. The sealed container includes a first removable divider engaged with the sealed container in a manner to form and create a first compartment and a second compartment. The polymeric composite material of the repair kit may be used as an adhesive, as a filler or sealant to repair damaged surfaces, pavements, walls, and wooden materials, and as a coating.

An example of a packet for a card slot. The container may include a chamber for storing oil. The packet may have a shape and a thickness to fit within a slot that holds a credit card. The packet may include a first lamina and a second lamina. The second lamina maybe affixed to the first lamina to form the chamber within a sealed region along a first peripheral region of the first lamina and a second peripheral region of the second lamina. A combined thickness of the first lamina, the second lamina, and the oil fits within a defined volume. A first surface of the first lamina and a second surface of the second lamina is substantially flat.

A break-open single-dose sealed package and method for the production thereof; the sealed package has: a first sheet of semi-rigid plastic material; a second sheet of flexible plastic material set on top of and welded to the first sheet along an annular weld, so as to define a sealed pocket containing a dose of a product; and a pre-weakened area that develops transversely and is obtained in a central area of the first sheet; the pocket is divided into two distinct and separated chambers which are insulated from one another and each contain a corresponding component of the product; and the pocket is divided into the two chambers due to a central weld connecting the second sheet to the first sheet and is weak, so as to be broken by exerting pressure on at least one of the two chambers.

Various embodiments of systems/methods relating to mixing of a plurality of substances are disclosed. Applications in medicine and in the pharmaceutical industry may be based on one or more of the systems/methods disclosed herein, providing mixing of first and second substances, as necessary, only a short time prior to dispensing thereof and/or in accordance with predetermined amounts of the first and second substances. Applications in the beverage industry may also be based upon various systems/methods disclosed herein, providing alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic mixing of a plurality of substances, as desired, a short time prior to dispensing and consuming and/or in accordance with precisely measured predetermined amounts, maximizing taste and enjoyment for the consumer.

An extended duration anesthetic includes a short duration local anesthetic in a dilute solution and a long duration local anesthetic. The long duration local anesthetic is maintained in a powdered form until the time of administration. Premeasured quantities of the dilute solution and powdered long duration local anesthetic in a kit allow for quick preparation of a solution with desired concentrations of both short duration local anesthetic and long duration local anesthetic at the time of administration.
